Hi guys. a few days ago I installed the nethunter rom on my s7 edge and the whole process was successful. however i am having trouble with the terminal emulator, i took a look around before posting my help request here, but I have not found anything regarding my problem. let's get to the point: when I try to have the metapackage installed, the terminal emulator starts automatically, and after giving the first command it stops responding.

I tried to start the emulator manually, when I choose kali, rather than the usual root @ kali I find only the cursor

,
if I try to issue any command and hit enter, the cursor drops one line without executing the command.

I will attach screenshots to make me understand better. I checked that I have the latest version of nethunter and the emulator. i tried to change install path to busybox, but the problem persists. I really hope you can help me.

Apkm (Apkmanager)
As a lot of features in AndroidSuite2012 were not used by the actual user I decided to release a single tool dedicated for decompiling apk's.
It has the same simple to use GUI as AndroidSuite but with less confusing buttons and a much lighter package.
The check box options are not yet implemented this is a alpha I was working on and decided to pull it from my dropbox and release.
Enjoy! Download below
PS Apktool might need replacing. Tomorrow I will update with the same method for decompiling used in AS2012.

Click to collapse
This is normally caused if theres a space in the name of the folder. Make sure its not in a folder with a space in the name. Although I've never seen it say \ANDROID. Could you screen shot the program? And remember you need jre installed
I needed to install some stuff after I flashed my rom, so I quickly wrote up this tool.
You can throw whatever APK files into it, and connect your phone with debugging enabled, hit install and It'll install all the applications in the list.
Currently, this is just a prototype, but it will eventually get better, and I will add more features. For now, It should work for just a simple batch install.
If you have any problems, just shoot me a PM. Otherwise, I think this should be dead simple to use. If you have any suggestions for what I could add, Post it here.
Oh, and, If you wouldn't mind, Shooting me some donations will ensure you'll get more of this stuff!

New Version coming out April 30th, 2014
I am re-writing the code from scratch. This was a project from a while ago.
Features to be implemented in the next version:
File management
APK installation library
APK removal
APK backup
More Realistic and better progress bar.
Windows 8 and retrograde support.
Mac and Linux support
I have been going around the forum and the TiBu reviews and I see negative comments and such and I have to keep on repeating myself to many people which can get a little irritating at times so I decided to create this thread.
So you are just going to restore your apps and data and suddenly you meet the almighty restore 0% which remains that.
Once that occurs you must get off before it shoots out its restore or you will have some critical issues.
Now you have to go to preferences and then press "DETECT!", choose /storage/emulated/legacy/TitaniumBackup and already we are on an other half before the issue is fixed.
Make sure you have busybox installed for this next step.
Now download and install Terminal Emulator and do the following:
su
busybox chown -R 1023.1023 /data/media/*
Now when you restore it should work just fine.
Titanium Track is maybe planning to integrate a button to do all this for Android 4.3 users so wait for this fix.
I have just received an email and it looks like they are happy for me providing the fix and they will do something about it.

Hi all,
This will be one of my first contributions to (XDA).
I'd like to start of by adding a little - probably already known fact about my S5.
After I rooted it using using (ODIN v3.09) and the SMG file I had noticed after quickly browsing through
everything that when I decided to try a normal (default) update I had no success.
I have attached a screen shot of the prompt a had received.

A work around to this issue was found by accident when I tried a previous program called "SnapPea".
http://www.snappea.com/
I was using SnapPea as an alternative to Kies etc. It's free and I have had no issue thus far.
It worked well with my old S2 and is working just as well with my S5.
NOTE: you may find a "ADB Debugging Deamon" conflict if you are running any other clients in relation to Mobile Phone editing
but these can be ignored without major concern as I have found due to running MOBILedit.
For the basic Mobile editing i.e. contacts, pictures, install and uninstall and of course the option of updating your s5 G990i!
I would highly recommend it.

Hi guys,
I have a fresh S7 SM-G930V(Android 6.0.1). Which i logged in via google and it downloaded all my previous apps on my old phone(i assume it automatically does)
I was following https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...-to-notes-root-install-xposed-unroot-t3411039.
And now my keyboard is now starting to look weird

}
I completed all the steps and rooted to the following image "Samsung_G930x_QC_Rooted_BOOT.TAR (any Samsung Galaxy S7) (MD5 hash 948A01ECCF280828DFD13AC366F6FE85)"
and used Odin3_v3.12_PrinceComsy.zip as opposed to the other odin.
Any ideas besides using another keyboard app?
EDIT: Just flashed back to G930VVRU4API3, which i thought was my stock rom but has a purpleish first time start up which i thought should be blueish?
Going to try and re-flash a root after work again.
UPDATE2: I Follow the rooting/xposed steps again and now i got my normal keyboard back. The difference is that the verizon startup is white/red while when i first ever used the phone it was a blueish/purple verizon start up. But i feel that it was definitely 6.0.1 with PI3.
Accessing the phone via cable seems extremely slow but thats for another thread...
I am now rooted with a working keyboard, now time to work on the other issues....
