Hello everyone!
Need help while my wife is not in the topic yet (
There is a Michael Kors Sofie MKT5021 watch, made a reset, reconnected to the phone.
They started to blunt, cleaned the cache of programs (by deleting data and cache), disabled Google Fit.
I did a reboot and they now load only up to the desktop screen and start blinking, there are no any widgets, I can't go into the menu for reset settings,
I can only boot into safe mode, but it's the same, there is no menu, nothing.
How else can they be reset to factory ones with only one main button?
Thanks/

I had some connection problem with my in car Bluetooth audio system, which caused the device to hang.
I had to take the battery out and in, for the device to restart.
Since then, I press the power button, getting the Galaxy logo, then the glowing S with the sound. and again the Galaxy S logo for a while, after a minute or two, the screen goes off and that's it. All buttons are inactive.
How can i make it work again?
Thanks,
Amir.
go into download mode
wiki instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=Samsung_Galaxy_S/GT-I9000
then select wipe cache, and wipe data
Thanks for the answer.
I already decided to hard reset the device, and reinstall everything.
I'll keep in mind your advise, in case of a need in the future.
thanks!
Amir.
Dear Master of Spica,
I bought Spica from my friend and it was original (unroot), but I couldn't remove the old account also add the new one. I've tried to cleared data and reset, but it was forced close, and the data still remain. I tried reset from recovery mode, but I could not enter the recovery mode, only blank screen, but when I released the buttons, it began to boot. Please help me to solve the problem, thank you very much
Sent from my HTC Magic
Recovery is only aviable after rooting AFAIK
Go to Settings->Privacy and try factory reset there (name in setting can be different, I use polish)
or
open Phone and input
Code:
*#*#7780#*#*
You will be asked to reset the phone. This will not delete any files from SD card.
Hi.
I would be very grateful if you could help me...
I got a software from the market (root toolbox) and I tryed to delete the delvik cache, as suggested from some friends this could speed up my mobile (was a bit slow that days,,)
After this, I did a soft reset but the phone everytime goes to the main screen restarts again after 2-3 seconds...
I thought something bad happened to the main system so I did a factory reset (power button + x key on keyboard)
("wipe data/ factory reset")
I even chose the "wipe cache partition" (in that case I saw a message that could not find a 'recovery' something.. (too quick to read...)
The problem now is that the mobile, goes to the "Welcome to Motoblur" screen then after 2-3 seconds reboots by itself again!
I really don't know what went wrong.. Is there, please, any other way to hard reset the device ?
Thank you very much in advance for any ideas/help!
cheers

Is the touch working in that area otherwise? Try turning the phone into landscape and in a game or something and touch there and see if the phone is responding.
Have you made modifications to your phone? If not then a factory reset would be my way to go.
Factory reset seems to be the only way and that too through recovery.
i am also facing same issue
try TWRP (if you have it) Clear Dalvik-Cache, Cache and Try to back up all the internal memory data then boot and wait the optimization apps. i hope it helps you . srry my bad english
TWRP (Recovery)
Same issue, my solution:
Go to settings>users> select guest
After "guest" login, notification bar and USB connection will start to work again, then return to "owner". Now, you can make your backup. "Reset phone" remains grey and isn't possible reset system, use power button and vol- to enter fastboot to make a factory reset. Only after that the phone will work fine again!
Good luck!
Update: *SOLVED*
I got a strange message that popped up on my phone this morning. It stated "It's gonna rain. Take a umbrella with you". It stayed on top everything else and wouldn't go away. I thought that it could possibly be one of my weather apps and got stuck, so I rebooted. After that point, it gets to the Google loading screen animation and never passes. After subsequent reboots, it does the same thing. I am able to get into TWRP recovery though.
Does anyone know what be causing this and/or how to remedy it? Might it be some type of malware? I have attached a screenshot of it.

Thanks for the link! I do have GO Weather installed, and I have no issue with getting rid of it. Although, I'm unsure how to do that since I can't boot. Any recommendations?

well, since you can boot in twrp you can do a factory reset.
safe mode is a better idea but i dont think you can boot into safe mode without starting the phone.
here are the steps but i dont think it will work so try to delete dalvik and cache from recovery, if that didnt work I think factory reset is the only option unless someone has a better idea
Make sure your device's screen is on, then press & hold the Power button.
In the box that opens, touch & hold Power off.
You’ll see a “Reboot to safe mode” box. Touch OK.
Your device will start up in safe mode. Try using your device normally. Remember, you won’t be able to use any installed apps

I tried clearing the cache and dalvik earlier, along with deleting the GO Weather app files, but that didn't help. I thought about safe mode, but I don't see a way to do it without already being booted to Android.
What if I dirty flash the same stock 6.0 ROM I'm using? I'd like to keep files and apps intact, so I'd prefer to not perform a factory reset, but will if I exhaust other options.
I just realized that I never came back here to update on what happened. I wound up booting into TWRP recovery, connecting to my PC via USB, backing up any data that I needed, then factory reset. That took care of it. Luckily, that also cleared up some other minor, but annoying, issues I was having. Needless to say, I haven't been and won't be using GO Weather EX any longer.
