However, welcome to XDA. I hope you'll always get and find the support your require but I suggest that you urgently review the XDA Forum Rules, to which you agreed to adhere when you registered today, and to focus currently on rule no. 5; post only ONCE! Thanks for your cooperation.

I want to bring your attention to some of the forum rules. They are done to improve XDA-developers.com and for you to get the best of this great community. Not following this rules you show disrespect to any other member.
1. Search before posting.
Use one of our search functions before posting, whether you have a question or something new to share, it's very likely someone already asked that question or shared that news.
Click to collapse
3. Post only using a clear subject and message.
You're most likely to receive a helpful answer to your question if you use a short subject title that describes your problem and a message that explains in detail what your problem is and what you've tried to solve it.
Click to collapse
5. Post a message only once.
As a large forum we don't need unnecessary clutter, You're free to edit your message as you like, so if you do not receive an answer revisit your message and see if you can describe your problem better. Not everyone is online at the same time, it might take a while before you receive an answer.

General - Question & Answer section is not a place where everyone can open a new thread with the own question. It is needed to search before, read the sticky threads, read the wikis, read and read once again, and post in an existing thread, if necessary. Repetitive topics will be deleted/closed without previous notice. Topics like 'urgent help' or 'do I brick my phone?' and so will be deleted/closed. Infractions issued to reiterative members. Remember XDA-Developers.com is about development. That includes Q&A section! Thanks for your cooperation. Best regards,
what's this
is this mean that I hava to edit this before I can start a thread?
I know and thanks very much!
thank you

Hello, I have been assigned as a moderator to the HTC Wildfire.
Please dont hesitate to contact me if you have any issues regarding your stay here in the Wildfire section.
Enjoy
Welcome
Luckily we're more of a quiet and slow community here, except for those few that seem to just think that we're all here for them. (And the pirates)

hi and welcome. hope you have fun with us all.
ok now please dont take this personal,i am just asking a question out of confusion.... how does xda decide a moderator for a devices forum !! i thought it would make more sense if an active user from the actual wildfire threads was to be come a moderator, now i mean no disrespect but ive not seen you around here ( wildfire ) before ? im in no way saying your not active in other threads but i was under the impression that this was how xda moderators was chosen ?
kindest regards as always slymobi.
Well moderators are not device specific.
Lets say there is a pool of moderators and when the need for moderation for a specific forum arises, then one of us take it.
PS You can see the different forums I moderate in my signature

Dear moderator! since some servers (like multiuploader) are down please notify to correct all non-working links. thanks
This is not something a moderator does.
You have to contact the devs for them to renew their links.
Either post in their thread or message by pm.
Cheers

well, but almost all of them don't care about that
They don't care because they've moved on, you have to remember that this phone is very old in phone years.
Oh and hello new mod, bout time we got one.
Note to self: must bite tongue harder when dealing with dimwits or face the prospect of being moderated!!
Does anyone have any experience with this? Servify in the US?

The next time, please alert the moderators' team for timely action via the report function. XDA has currently about 3.5M threads with about 77.5M posts; I'm convinced you understand that we cannot monitor every single thread.
Thanks very much for your cooperation!
Stay safe and stay heathy - stay at home!

Apprently, There is no WhatsApp group for the Oneplus 8 Pro yet.
@mods: I don't know if it's currently within XDA guidelines to post regarding WhatsApp group. Please let me know if if I can post the link for the group. Else I'll remove the thread. Thanks.

Hello @neoavi7! I've just recognised your thread/post by accident as the "mentioned" you used has no function to address any moderator. And unless you know XDA has not only 10+M members but also 3.5+M threads containing 78+M posts i.e. it's impossible to monitor all posts or to visit all threads. The best way to alert the moderators team is via the report function or alternatively to ask such questions in the About xda-developers.com forum.
Regarding your actual question about a Whatsapp group: Negative, it's not allowed. Minutes ago, I've closed a respective thread but for Telegram. Please refer to here where I also pointed to our rules and policy.
But anyway: I really appreciate that you first asked and not simply posted. Thanks very much indeed, and I hope you can agree to our policy.

@Concept48 The thread has been moved out of the development forum since that section is only reserved for sharing one's own development work. It's clear that you're neither the developer or the maintainer of the ROM you shared, and that's why your thread didn't qualify to be in the device's development forum. Additionally, I've also added the word [SHARED] in the thread title to clarify that the ROM is not your own.

Hello and good morning, @Concept48. I've removed the links to Telegram from your OP.
Regarding social media links please observe that as an exemption from the last bullet of rule no. 5 of the XDA Forum Rules, we grant only developers the privilege to share references to their social media in their own development threads and if thorough support is provided in the thread. These conditions obviously don't apply to you, your threads or posts. Additional information is also available here:
Telegram Chat Channels - Way Forward
WhatsApp/Telegram Groups and Channels - Going Forward Hello XDA family! Just notifying all members that posting certain links to Telegram and other sites like WhatsApp is now allowed on XDA. What does that mean? We will allow links to messages...
forum.xda-developers.com
In order to avoid consequences to your account, please refrain from sharing links to social media on XDA unless done in your own development threads.
Thanks for your cooperation.

Hi Thanks for your warning , it was just a announcement not even a thread cause developer did not want to make a thread because of the difficult communication on this Network. I,m not even on Telegram and I don't give a dang about Telegram.
Developer knows I made the thread ,just because I want this development to be on XDA and not only on telegram ,. so if Developer can announce Telegram support room I can to /.
i have better things to do then make threads to get attention on your Network.
I did not have to announce this at all , then XDA would not have this development on the site..
My Channel sends thousands of people over the years to XDA so I can be seen as a XDA promotor rather a spammer that needs people from XDA to go to bloody telegram.
I will not anounce anything anymore if you start threaten me with account removal etc ..think again . I,m not here to gain members of XDA I Bring them ..and BTW I will make a video and explain in simple words what kinda sucks about XDA . We keep in touch. Best regards Puck Darlington Channel48 Yourtube.
