Hello dear friends. Please help me find the latest firmware for Junsun MT8227L 2 gb 32 gb Wi-Fi DSP
You don't help me because I'm from Russia?
Welcome.
It's nothing to do with where you're from, I've asked several very clearly worded questions here and no-one has answered any of them. I also see many other new people arriving here and asking sensible questions, they get no answers either, it's definitely not you!
Who is you. There are a small number of contributors here - most post never to be seen again
First point of contact for your device is seller. What did seller say.

Hello. 2nd post here. Great site you guys have. It's so informative, it's almost overwhelming for the average user / non developer person like myself.
I did read the thread: Sticky: RULES FOR OPENING NEW THREADS - (Your Thread May Be Removed If You Do Not Read This) So, yeah, I get it if you delete this thread. But If you do, at least PM me and answer my question beloe please? Ok?
I have a sprint mogul. All i wanted to do to my phone was to make it look like a Diamond. E.G. today page, windows media player diamond skin, phone dialer keypad, etc.
This forum is so huge, and everything is so very spread around. If there is not one 'master' thread already, how about have a 'master' HTC Diamond thread where all downloads/cabs for the diamond conversion could be stored? Or have a dowload page for this. If there is something like this. I apologize as I looked but did not see. Thus warranting deleting this post. C'mon, can ya make it easy on us? LOL.
Fantastic site, I cant say that enough.
Cheers

that is a link to the questions and answers forum. you should post your question to that forum, as the purpose of that forum to address questions people have. this forum is NOT for posting question threads, as you already have gathered by reading the FAQ. you will likely receive responses if you post in that forum, but your question will be ignored here.
You are in the wrong section of the forum.
Post in that link referred by mienh.
g'luck.

If you read the forum rules (see my signature) you'll notice it says the following:
7. Do not spam.
If you wish to advertise a product, contact us we provide ads. But do not post it in the forums, it will be removed and you're likely to receive a ban.
You are however allowed to sell used goods like your own device, parts of your device or accessories for your device in the marketplace forum, please read the rules there before posting.

Did you actually read my Post?
I mention the marketplace so I have read the rules, spam would be from a commercial product. I assume
look at this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=431778
Now am I confused or are you?
So once again can a MOD answer this question who actually knows the rules instead of some who thinks they do.
look at this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=431778
So whats the answer Spartan
Perhaps you shouldnt burn people so quick I am still trying to follow rules even when I know this has been done before
Did I burn you, where was I rude. All I said was the rules allowed you to sell your own devices or equipment
I don't see anywhere in the rules which disallows you to put a link to your phone been sold in ebay.
I've see ppl putting links to selling there stuff before in there signature
Hi, I\m a member for many months now and still cannot interact with the forum of my rom. They want at least 10 posts. What to do if I have nothing to say outside my rom? There are questions asked by people I would like to answer and cannot yet. This policy needs reconsideration - I think.

Well...why not go through the Q&A section and answer people's questions? Thus getting 10 posts (without spamming, and by actively contributing to the community) and then you can answer/ask more questions. I partially agree that time could be a better indicator of whether or not someone should be allowed to post in the development section, but there has to be some system by which the forums can be free of 'how do I install this ROM' questions or similarly stupid questions which could be answered by using the search function.
Speaking of the search function, I think there is a thread about this in the 'about XDA-Developers' or 'General' section
or at least allow selective forum access. I need the thread of HD2 Boypcc Nand roms.
OK you win on this. I didn't search for this specific. I searched now, found some similar complaints but not very much like my viewpoint.
About searching, in fact I searched and read and learned too too much (and donated) without asking a single question yet. To post in generic forums I'd love to, but I don't see really serious stuff (for me) to discuss outside ROM. OK 6 down 4 to go
I agree. The policy might need reconsideration but it is not really important though. 10 posts are mighty easy to achieve. Try answering questions in the QnA thread. However, if you really are unaware of how to solve member's problems and queries, you can always hang around and have some fun in the off topic thread. In that way, you will be able to achieve your target. Its not exactly how you might want your first 10 posts, but if you get to interact with your forum, then you will be able to gain more knowledge and a better understanding. Then you can truly start helping people after that.

Lol well obviously you didn't ask questions, otherwise you would have more posts
But I respect having no posts but having a membership for a year (and actually using the forums) much more than having 5billion useless posts without having helped anyone.
thread closed because is not related to HD2 Android ... for further information please go here. Regards,
12's tutorial on how to get your postcount above 10:
Keep in mind that only people we the genuine intent to post one of their developmental projects or with a (well explained) bug report NEED a postcount above 10. Nonetheless I'll give you some guidelines on how to achieve this goal in a community accepted way:
Read the stickies in About xda-developers.com
Read this thread
Read the stickies in Questions and Answers, ask a question there about the site or anything general should anything be unclear to you
Try to answer 2 or 3 questions there
Read the stickies in your forum for your favorite device
If you have any news on the device post it in general
If you have any questions about a hack, app, ROM or theme pop into that thread and ask a question or leave a message
Check out your device specific Questions and Answers (if it has one, otherwise check out General). With everything you have learned so far you should well be able to help a few more people there

Hi everyone,
As a result of my initial noobiness (I still am, honestly) and the questions that have been asked here in the App Development Forums (ADF), I had an idea.
Why not create a thread where people can ask their questions and have them answered, instead of having this parts of the ADF being cluttered? This way, questions don't push away threads with guides and projects as quickly.
In addition, I was thinking that based on the questions in this thread, maybe in cooperation with a couple of (set) people, new threads with guides can be created. It'll help get the forums going and be a good source of info for the community.
So, what does everyone think? I guess it can be good .
Regards,
bassie1995
I think that more complex problems will not be answered as the first post might be 3 or more pages earlier. Nobody will go back to read that.
Additionally, people will mix up different problems.
I think that it will just provide good answers for problems which can easily done by using Google. And these questions are the ones I usually do not reply to.
So I do not think that it will be helpful.
Nothing against you.
Thanks for your effort. :good:

I had thought about that, but it depends on how much people post here. Also, I must admit that some problems, Google does not solve. I had some issues that I couldn't really find a solution to on YT, neither in tutorials nor in questions, etc.
Ok, so something weird happened today. For some reason, I've been banned from the official forums for "spam". The notice says to contact a forum admin, but there isn't any way to do so. I have never posted any spam so I'm not sure why this happened. If an admin from the official forum sees this or if someone would please contact an admin, I would like to discuss and appeal this. Thank you.

I'm not banned from XDA. I'm banned from the Official Phoenix OS Forum. But, their forum is a bit lower quality than XDA. There's always spam bots posting things about medications, women, travel trips, stuff in Russian, etc. As I said above, I wouldn't ask here at all, but even though the message says to contact their forum admin, they have no such way to do so.

you should have said so ... other forum registrations / bans / issues aren`t our area of interest though you may be able to find someone to guide or advice you
Thread moved to this q&a section now , this doesn`t belong to Miscellaneous Android Development
Thanks for understanding
Dan
If you read the OP, I did say so. I started this topic in the correct forum. This is the only other place that some of the users/mods of Phoenix OS use besides the official forums. Therefore, it's the only place such an issue would be seen and sent to the correct people. Please, move this topic back to where it was.

This threads turns out to a "who's right and who's wrong" thread and becomes useless
Again, you did not mention on your first post which forum you seemed to be banned, you said "official forum" and we thought you were talking about xda official forum not that external website where, read what I've said above
And second, Miscellaneous Android development is NOT the correct place here on XDA to post questions /issues whatever because you think it is more visible , this is the place
I might also remove the link from your post as the xda rules does not allow advertising or encouraging the users to participate or whatever on external websites for mobile phones
If this discussion derails more than has been already happening , can be easily closed as irrelevant for the XDA's forum topics
You may use the pm function for further concerns
Thank you
