OnePlus 8 Pro:
Although from Developer option, "OEM unlocking" is enabled but when I boot the phone into fastboot mode it shows " Device Locked".
In additoin, the fastboot options are moving/changing/ colors rapidly by its own in a loop. Means no option can be slected in the fastboot menue.
On the other side if i connect cable and try from Adb; the "Fastboot Oem Unlock" brings the screen option but agains both options keep on moving/selcting by its own..
I have tried almost every thing like resetting, rebooting etc. But nothing works.

Well you're talking about fastboot mode, not adb. But sounds like your volume keys are messed up. Cant be a bug because no software is loaded up in fastboot mode.
It happens when u press the volume keys longer than u should while booting into fastboot. It ll solve once u reboot the phone and enter into fastboot using adb commands, by enabling usb debugging in the developer options. If u have any further doubts u can DM me.
Kindly post this in the Q&A section.

You have to unlock bootloader first through fastboot.

Yesterday, while watching a youtube video, my redmi 3s prime switched off on itself and entered bootloop. I switched mobile to recovery mode and entered fastboot while connecting android with pc, I thereafter launched command prompt and entered "adb devices" but no devices were displayed, then I typed "fastboot oem edl" but again I received message "failed...:device is locked, oem edl is not allowed", the to bypass bootloop so that I can enable oem in developers option I tried "fastboot continue" and then although homescreen was entered but message was displayed saying:"The process system is not responding" and eventually screen hanged with capacitative buttons not responding and the only go is to enter recovery again. I thus need help to enable oem so that I can flash stock rom as in Miflash device port i.e COM10 is not being displayed rather random number alongwith alphabets is displayed. I have posted photo to show device error.

I have an idea, which I didn't try myself.
You could try to enter the recovery by holding volume + und power, long until it will show the first recovery screen
It has orange text boxes, and one of those is saying "recovery" tap it
Probably then, if chinese text appears, you will have to translate it using another phone and google translate
app by camera scan.
If that all would theoretically work, try wipe cache and dalvic or a factory reset (you would then loose all ur data)
In worst case you have to do a deepflash as descibed here:

If you can go to the settings then try to make factory reset. If not then try vol up +power and then select download mode.. If it is not working then switch off your device and connect to pc and the same time when you plugged it into pc just hold the vol up and down together this will take you on download mode.. If this is not working then try to make drep flash cable or request xiaomi to unlock bootloader permission..
Here's a really easy way to make a deep flash cable http://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-redmi-3s/help/help-bricked-phone-t3510277/post70029683#post70029683
LG G6 H871 unrooted
I just can't get into fastboot or recovery mode. I've tried everything on the internet.
I've tried turning off the phone. Holding down the volume down button and then plugging in the USB cable.
I've tried adb command "adb reboot bootloader" which just reboots the phone until I can see the "enter your PIN" screen
The closest I got to the recovery mode was using "adb reboot recovery" which gave me the "no command" screen.
Any tips on this?
Have you enabled OEM Unlock option under Developer settings?
Yes. "Enable OEM unlock" and "USB debugging" enabled.
both oem unlock is on and usb debugging on and my computer has accepted the fingerprint from teh device to shake with adb. . still cant get into fastboot mode.what to do.
Is your phone rooted? If so use flashify to reflash recovery. You do know that if you want to boot in recover you have to let the power key go and repress it once your screen goes on right?
You can also try phone off. Holding volume up while you insert usb cable. Might be a tool that allows a command to be send to reboot it in fastboot mode? If not downgrade its firmware..

If I understand correctly, when you got to the No Command" screen, you were actually in Recovery. From my experience, the No Command screen is like a "greeting", if you will. Once you see that screen, you need to fiddle with the power & volume buttons. I believe the correct combination is to press and hold the power button. Then press and release the volume up button but continue to hold power button. If that is not the correct sequence you will need to Google for the correct order. Reference.
Considering that you are not rooted, there is not much you can do in the stock recovery.
EDIT 2 - Realized that this thread is over a year old and the OP has probably moved on. Didn't realize another member revived it. Sorry.
Have searched the forum but came up empty.
Hoping someone can help.
Purchased the phone used back in December and have been using it as-is. Two OTA updates came through fine. The latest OTA update has it stuck in a boot loop.
- I can get to fastboot with power and volume down buttons but all of the options either turn it off or stick it back in the loop again (Essential logo with powered by Android, NO dot animation)
- Can't see it via "adb devices" since developer mode was likely not enabled
- "fastboot devices" can see the phone but can't change slots or do anything else
I saw two other people who've posted something similar but no solution. Is my phone garbage?
Any help is appreciated.

Damn, that's a bit unlucky, this March update said it would make recovery from a loop after OTA update easier to recover from, which might just have helped you. Sorry not sure how to help fix at present.
you can try flashing one of these https://forum.xda-developers.com/essential-phone/development/stock-7-1-1-nmj20d-t3701681
be sure to pick one with the fastboot images

A couple of questions:
- Is your BL unlocked (or is OEM Unlocking enabled)?
What happens if you try executing "fastboot flashing unlock"? NOTE: this would WIPE your data if successful.
- Can you get to the Recovery mode? It's when you pick "Recovery" option from fastboot mode, see the lying android with an exclamation sign, then hold Power and press VolumeUp to get to the Recovery menu.

Thanks for your response.
- I dont belive OEM unlocking is enabled.
- I can get to the fastboot menu, but the recovery mode option just takes me back to the 'powered by android' logo, not the green dead robot.
- When I try fastboot flashing unlock, I get the below error:
=============
FAILED (remote: Flashing Unlock is not allowed
)
finished. total time: 0.013s

Will this work even though I cannot see the device via adb? AND the device state is "locked".

Dang... :\ Yeah, the last error means you don't have OEM unlock enabled. So, you can't flash the bts image via fastboot. One last thing I could think of is trying to get to recovery by the button combo. Although, if you are correct in saying you don't have USB debug enabled, it won't do much good, i.e. you won't be able to flash an OTA... :\
While device is OFF, press and hold Volume-Up button while pushing Power button to boot.
Your device will now be in Recovery mode. An Android logo with red exclamation mark should appear on screen. Hold the Power button, then press the Volume-Up button one time to see the recovery menu.
can you try this command on bootloader:
fastboot OEM unlock

Nothing ! ..
my ph-1 still into the drawer ! .
My Oneplus 8 Pro is cycling through the bootloader options as if I am holding the volume up button. I tried MSM tool back to stock to try to fix the problem but it keeps happening. If anybody knows a fix for this issue please let me know! Thank you!
Edit: I discovered this while trying to install Evolution X 7.1 ROM and got stuck in the bootloader
I am having a similar issue with my Oneplus 8, were you able to find a fix for this?
My Op8 pro have the same issue, but fastboot commands are working so i just write command fastboot reboot bootloader.
It reboots to the same screen with "Start", and i can select with vol down/up options, but sometimes vol up still gives weird response like it will be holding still and cycles through all options. Mostly fastboot reboot bootloader in my case solves the problem, and fastboot mode have proper response to keys.
Second question is: why do you need not shuffling bootloader? To select option? If yes, then you can select most of the options through commands (even if options are switching like crazy) like:
fastboot reboot recovery
fastboot reboot bootloader
fastboot reboot
and there's moooore and more options ^_^
Show barcode have no command from what i know.
I got around that by unplugging the phone before you boot to fastboot. It seems to work fine when it is not plugged in your computer.
Imma need a bit of assistance here. I have been trying to get into Download (DL) mode while pressing vol up + down and plugging in the cable. But it just starts charging.
I can get into DL mode through recovery but that goesn't give me an option to unlock bootloader. Of course, OEM unlock and USB debugging are turned on. I even flashed the latest firmware A205FXXSBCVI2.
I was trying to odin flash custom recovery image which doesn't complete and on DL screen it says, Custom image (boot) blocked by OEM lock. I have unlocked a lot of phones before but I guess I never had to unlock a Samsung bootloader!
Thanks in advance.
This should work:
The following steps WILL WIPE YOUR DEVICE
1. Enable Developer Options by pressing the “Build Number” option in the “Settings” app within the “About” menu
From within the Developer options menu, enable OEM unlock.
3. Power off the device, and boot it into download mode:
With the device powered off, hold Volume Up + Volume Down and connect USB cable to PC.
Now, hold down the “Volume Up” button until you see the “Unlock bootloader” screen.
Then press the “Volume Up” button once to unlock the bootloader.
7. Your device will reboot twice and erase your data, you may now unplug the USB cable from your device.
8. Run through Android Setup skipping everything you can.
9. Re-enable Development settings by clicking the “Build Number” option 7 times, in the “Settings” app within the
“About” menu, and verify that “OEM Unlock” is enabled and greyed out in the “Developer options” menu.
If you have any problems, let me know.

Nope. I don't have access to that phone for the time being. But I came accross a point that we need to plug in the audio cable on new Samsung phones to get that unlock option.
Haven't tried yet though.

Not resolved! OEM unlock is enabled in developer settings. But still unable to get unlock bootloader option
