How to get a backup copy of the MCU firmware from HU
1. Need root.
2. You must install the terminal emulator from Google Play.
3. Run the commands in the terminal emulator
To save on usb stick
Code:

cd /dev/block/by-name
dd if=private of=/usb0/private.img bs=4096
or
Code:
su
cd /dev/block/by-name
dd if=private of=/usb1/private.img bs=4096
To save to the SD card, if available
Code:
su
cd /dev/block/by-name
dd if=private of=/extsd0/private.img bs=4096
or

cd /dev/block/by-name
dd if=private of=/extsd1/private.img bs=4096
4. We will get a file private.img, size 16 MB
5. Give a link to the file or attach here.
How to make a backup copy of the MCU firmware using Backup_copy.apk (View attachment Backup_copy.apk)
1. Install the program Backup_copy.apk
2. Press the button Make a copy "MCU"
3. We will get a file /sdcard/MCU.img, size 16 MB
4. Give a link to the file or attach here.

Im not sure if I can help, but Ive found in my computer the backup of native 4.4.4 firmware of my HU made before the italian seller sent me firmware update : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75612912&postcount=137

This is not "fake"!
22 in hexadecimal is equal to 34 in decimal

Updating the android and updating the mcu are two different processes.
I looked at the links that you gave. They do not contain the firmware that you had (5.3.16-22-B0-E50201-150818)

About 5.3.16-22-B0-E50201-150818 it was in my HU as I bought it, never made any changes until firmware update 5.1.1 (I dont know if the italian seller changed the original MCU firmware before sell it)
About decoder of the can-bus picture, the HU is not dismounted but I still have other cables in the HU box:

I can not understand at what moment the mcu firmware changed.

Ive updated to android 6 following nosidefcp's thread using that firmware V7.3.1_20170610.110122_KED1-mod after Ive used 2 other firmware trying to find a way to fix my problems with SWC:

Tomorrow I will try to dismount HU and take pic of can bus decoder, and once dismounted I will open also HU and take pics of hardware (I hope I dont break my car )
Now I look for MCU 5.3.17-22-13-E50201-150926 and I hope the HU seller will reply to me :good:

Do not look for the firmware, just choose a model VW OBD(RZC)(5.3.17, CONFIG, RDS, Color, BC6, NODVD, TDA7719, TEF662x) in Extra settings-Model choose
After the choice, do not touch anything in the car, absolutely nothing until the HU does reboot!

Ive tried VW OBD(RZC) VW OBD(SS) and VW OBD(5.3.17 but still same problem with SWC, Ive tried to set it with a "click" and "holding" but it doesn't save
I really dont know how original MCU changed from 5.1.1. to 6.0.1 .

About MCU if there's some specific firmware do install could you link me it ? Maybe it will replace also MCU
Please, if you need other pics I will make, tell me if you need to see something more specific informations.
When I open SWC setup I click to "start" I click to "volume up" for example, then I "click" on "volume up" of SWC but on setup it doesn't save it, same thing is I "hold" on "volume up" on SWC

Can you show a screenshot or video?
As far as I know, if you have a cab bus decoder, then the information about the button press comes from the can bus through the decoder. Then the main role is played by the firmware MCU, which now does not correspond to the model of auto.

Hi, I also have a Mitsubishi Lancer and recently bought a PX6 (model ZF-1259S branded by ZhiFang). I was able to change both the boot logo and car image from the home screen through the "Boot image" and "Advanced settings" in the system menu. If it asks for a password try 8861, that worked for me.
I don't know if you saw this, but this video from Phoenix Auto also shows how to change the car image manually copying the file:

Hey there,
I was wondering if you ever found the factory firmware file for your head unit?
I have the Zhi Fang (This is the manufacturer of almost all of the tesla style head units.)
ZF1116s it has the same specs as your head unit exactly. As a side note I have already tried custom firmware from another fellow on here. It is good firmware, and adds a lot to the unit, but it does not restore functionality that the unit originally shipped with.
So yeah, if you have a file, or a link to it, I would be most grateful.

So I have the RL78c head unit (for a slightly different model), and I did get mine from Phoenix. I asked them about the password for the 'system info' screen and they said that this unit doesn't have that, it's locked by the manufacturer. The only settings you have access to is the install set menu (the 8861 one). I'm not sure if those other settings exist and are just hidden elsewhere, or they just don't exist in this model of head unit.

Yes is the right unit for my car, everything else works perfect.
It seems like every time the car is off that emergency light button is out of power, so when I start the car the lights will start flashing and have to press the button again to stop it.
I have talk with the manufacturer and have no solution.

Ok, so after many hours of searching: gongban_YT5760B_6GB-5760B_11_hw_ok-ota-v1.73.7.zip
Is the file i used. The radio is still garbage but the system is much more stable and most of the daft spelling errors are gone. Not all, but most. The heater controls still refer to the "Fornt" and "rear". I have a Deelife TPMS on it, Torque (obligatory purchase), Sygic, UK radio, my Netatmo heating and smartthings running on it all fine. Occasionally, the front screen wont load up but i can launch apps via buttons, but that one time out of 50. No idea why. Oh, i use launcher 10 as a front end.

no, just put it on a ntfs formatted usb "pen" drive but DO recall that only one of the usb ports was capable of running the upgrade.

I already bought more radios like these from the seller before and they had a different UI than now and they worked frankly well... more fluid. Could someone tell me where to get this UI:

I already bought more radios like these from the seller before and they had a different UI than now and they worked frankly well... more fluid. Could someone tell me where to get this UI:

Hi try with this software from JUNSUN it helped my device, we have simialr ones.
Download firmware from comment area in video and update device.

Then , when updated , go to factory menu with pin code 8888 and adjust settings for device (RADIO MENU , OTHER, DISPLAY and TOUCH STUDY/CANBUS - these two menus - if you must make steering wheel command s to work.).
FOR RADIO MENU :
- if radio.app is stalling or freezes - set OSCILACION to 9,20, FM and AM sense to 21-27, RDS ON, IC TYPE is your chip of radio (do not change that as these if wrong will freeze radio and commands), SORT is RADIO FREQ
- if radio freezes after bootup and wont response at all - try this app :
(just download file and transfer to device, then get in APK installer and install radio from this apk file)

I have this version: 8227L_8鑫瑞畅UI01-国外11_v4_20210705 with that UI that I say I want. But that version of soft on my radio model is very, very slow. it works much better with this one: 8227L_CHS_UI04-10_v3_20191207 . Do you know of a way to extract the UI from the first one and add it to another?

There is no need to extract anything, firmware is somewhere on this forum or somewhere on clouds services , we just have to find it on net.

From and by this pic inaside this folder your device has maybe XRC not CHS type of firmware, now just we can try to find software that matches UI4 dated year 2019 or early 2020 on the net.
But... I'm not sure wheter your device is PX5 chipset and what android version it has... (according to this picture inside - nb. 1 - UI is similar or that one that you pasted here)

Just take a brief video of your device info (about device in infotainment section), just to se what kind of system it is, for chip info we will google it.

How can I see if it is fake android 10? In device information it appears as android 10.

XY Auto tesla style unit upgrade?

Hi everybody.

The version the version I have and I had some problems:
CarPlay works but MAPS shows me the next message when I set an address: " no se ha encontrado ningún servidor con el nombre de host especificado.
I have a 1080p rear camera but only works as 750p camera.
The radio signal is good when the car is stoped but goes up and down when I'm on the way. I use an antenna amplifier but the result is the same.
So, I was thinking to upgrade the head unit with the hope of get some improvements and I try the next xygala files:
gongban_YT7260B_768x1024_en-ota-v1.73.zip........ "The system upgrade file version is incorrect"
gongban_YT7260B_6GB_768X1024_hw-ota-v1.73.zip.... "The system upgrade file version is incorrect"
Anyone can guide me with this problems?

gongban_YT7260B_ui1-7260B-V4A-Rooted-ota-v1.72.zip and from what I found it is for horizontal screens and mine is vertical and now I can't re-install the corresponding one because the menu appears and it doesn't recognize, also it they lost the air conditioning bars and the top bar
