Long story short,
I tried unofficial unlocking method to try to unlock my bootloader, which resulted in boot loop.
Oem unlock-go gave me remote unlock not allowed error.
Yes, before flashing i did all the steps correctly,
Allow oem unlock : CHECKED
usb Debugging : CHECKED
sign out mi account : CHECKED
DRIVERS correctly installed
After flashing original appsboot file, my device is working good.
Note: Also when my device was in boot loop, miflash could not detect my device, and the device manager was showing Qualcom diagnostic port 9008 or something
So please someone point me to the direction i must take, Do i need to wait for patched appsboot file for this version or something ??
If you install the rom with fastboot (MiFlash)? (Without lock option, only clean)...
I install miui10 and i have unlock bootloader (but i unlock it before official)... Equally i need to reinstall recovery in each reboot haha.
Qualcomm diagnostic? Mmm i use this to use QPST to use MiFlash need other driver...to use MiFlash i use it: Qualcomm HD-USB Qdloader 9008 (or is the same?)
Hello everyone,
I want to install LineageOS 15.1 on my ZTE Axon 7 (A2017G) (from official stock rom) and I'm really struggling... I tried five times and my phone end in DFU mode everytime (hopefully there is this tuto https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/guide-axon-7-universal-unbrick-t3814413 ). Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong ? I really don't understand... Here is my steps:
1) I unlock my bootloader with Axon7Toolkit
2) I install and update TWRP
3) I full wipe my device
4) I flash A2017G_OreoModem.zip and A2017UV2.1.0B20v01_Bootstack_by_DrakenFX.zip (from https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=270519)
5) I flash the last nigthly from https://download.lineageos.org/axon7
6) I reboot my phone
And after that my phone is bricked (dfu), when I boot I have the message "Your device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and may not work properly."...
Thanks in advance for your help !
@st3ph31: If you are getting the unlocked bootloader message then you are not in DFU, it is a standard message if you're unlocked. But if you're sure you're in DFU, you can use the DFU MultiDL tool to switch to EDL. The link is here on the A7 subforum, search for it. From EDL you can can flash whatever.
If you read the Los 15 and Los 16 threads
DM Verity enforcing is one fix via twrp or ADB

I think I'm in DFU because when I plug my phone to my PC, it appears as "Handset Diagnostic Interface (DFU)" and I can't get away from this except with the DFU MultiDL Tool! My question is: how can I properly install LineageOS 15.1 without brick my phone ?
@st3ph31: OK, I only mentioned that because both DFU and EDL have a black screen, the device will appear to be turned off. If there is any text on the screen then you are in neither of those modes.
Don't use the LOS bootstack, very simple. LOS bootstack doesn't support accessing EDL via the hardware buttons, instead you will get DFU. @Oki released a B12 bootstack, you can still run LOS with that installed. It has to be flashed via EDL.

DFU isn't always bad
Eg: DFU will show on your windows device if its not in Edl mode properly, Edl has been locked in some instances and will not connect as it should.
If you can boot into FTM?
FTM is with phone off, press and hold Vol down and Power till it boots to FTM.
If so use @djkuz Edl tool and see if you can unlock Edl or get to to boot to Edl.
You can flash via Edl if you follow the instructions exactly.
Hope this helps

I don't think you mentioned /vendor at all. If you follow LOS instructions, you'll see that you are lacking the vendor partition. Use the zip provided there (flash once, after recovery reboot flash again) then install orden's TWRP.
If you end up in DFU just use MultiDL and install a recovery again, or just get into Fastboot with the 5 second screen and install the recovery from there. I usually have to do that with my U. Try Oki's recovery with ADB support
Hi
How to boot to edl mode via fastboot mode ?
No issue if using "adb reboot edl"
But I need it via fastboot mode (vol down + power)

try below tool
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/guide-reboot-to-edl-mode-fastboot-test-t3398718
I am using Realme 3 pro but this is not working for me. As soon as I try to enter fastboot mode, error message shows that the image is corrupted. Any other way pls.
Never tried on realme as there is no need for edl as there is no tool provided by realme to flash its devices. But u can boot via adb reboot edl (doesn't work on xiaomi) fastboot reboot edl or fastboot oem edl . Or u can use twrp recovery if possible .
I was able to enter EDL mode through Orangefox recovery in Realme XT, but there's no option as it is in the fastboot mode. If i could enter EDL only through recovery, then its kinda useless since I won't even need EDL if my recovery is working.
Hi,
recently I hardbricked mi Mi5s. After reading and trying a lot of things, I managed to unbrick it. So, I left this as a guide of things to try in case someone else hardbricks it.
How did I brick it:
I was trying to fix finger sensor by flashing in EDL mode fastboot ROMS, in order to reflash persistent.img . I accidentally flashed a mi5 (gemini) ROM on the mi5s. After that, the PC recognised the device only as "hs-usb qdloader 9008" in the Windows Device Manager, associated with a COM port. (In my pc, it was COM7 or COM8).
How did I unbrick it:
I disabled integer_checks (following the androidbrick guide provided below) and installed new driver for qdloader 9008.
After that, I used miFlashTool (https://www.xiaomiflash.com/download/) and flashed latest global stable fastboot rom (https://en.miui.com/thread-5927598-1-1.html)
Note: if miFlashTool crashes, create a folder in miflash folder, and rename it to "log".
If you don't have a unlocked bootloader, you *must* use the test-point trick. (Use a deep flash cable) .
Links:
Driver that worked: https://www.mediafire.com/file/so0uvkd6nm6ie1m/Driver_x64.cab/file (x64) & https://www.mediafire.com/file/ryjc83s2ku6mmh5/Driver_x86.cab/file (x86)
Although it didn't work for me (i suspect thats becouse i hadn't installed the driver above), guide to use Qualcomm QFIL: https://en.miui.com/thread-432217-1-1.html
Another guide to Qualcomm QFIL: https://www.androidbrick.com/ultima...s-are-unbrickable-qhsusb_dload_qpst_qfil_edl/
If the PC doens't detect the mobile after installing that driver, it means that you're NOT into EDL mode. If you can't enter fastboot or EDL mode, you need a Deep flash cable. You can fabricate yourself one (there are youtube tutorials for that) using a test-point , or you can buy one from Aliexpress: https://es.aliexpress.com/item/PHON...290.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.594263c0eXl7Lh

Thank you for this great guide. Have a good day
is you fingerprint works after edl flashing?
Fastboot is no longer displayed, the screen remains dark. But I hear that the device is recognized. I use a depp flash cable.
MiFlash 20191206
port 9
status: try to reset status
after 18 sec flashmessage: write time out, maybe device was disconnected.
The phone started updating from 1.1.6 to 1.1.7 by the standard means of updating, but now it does not turn on, when connected, the Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 device appears. I tried to restore the phone via fastboot, but it is not visible, miflash sees it and com10. I tried to insert my fastboot script into miflash, but it doesn't work. I think it is possible to use some mbn files, but I don't have them
Your phone is in EDL Mode (bricked).
Fastboot won't work in this mode.
You need a loader / programmer file for Qfil (Windows) / EDL (Linux) and restore files or a Backup.
I haven't found a working loader / programmer file for now...
Maybe we need a patched / signed file...
