Which TWRP should I use for Nougat ROMs?

I read the descriptions of the Nougat ROMs, but I didn't find any informations about this. For me the problem with the official one is, that it makes broken backups for me and it doesn't wipe the partitions properly. So if there is a well working TWRP for flashing Nougat ROMs, possibly with F2FS support, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Does anyone have experience with nichcream's TWRP? It looks good, but the official one looked good too, but as I wrote, I had problems with it.

I am using red wolf twrp recovery. Working great for me.. tried 5 nougat roms. It is a modified recovery and provides more functions than official. You will love it.

Please dont quote the first message.
As the dev himself has said, speaking of binary base and other technical things, it's the same as 8.1.
Anyway i believe the ROM will change the base to 8.1 quite soon.

Its ok im using eurom but base also in 7.1 hahaha. But i preferd masik so i jump to masik hahaha

Just flash it and it's done. Aroma installer wipes all it needs except data. I think you can leave data untouched.

I used orangefox beta and i think TWRP 3.2.2 will work too. No encryption by default.

What is wrong with this rom???
Android Version showing 8.1.0 but when click on that it's showing nougat???
CPU Z is showing API level 25 where as OREO 8.1 API level is 27....
Anyone tried these things???

Click on android version , you'll see nougat logo... Also API level 25 proves it is nougat , oreo has Api level 27.... You didn't check all these details

sGSI roms not working for zenfone max pro m1

Why zenfone max pro m1 has treble support but sGSI roms not bootable?

Installation
1. Install any pie Rom
2. restore system via recovery
3. Copy vendor/etc/vintf/manifest.xml to vendor
4. now flash patch
5. now copy vendor/manifest.xml back to vendor/etc/vintf/manifest.xml

I boot miA2 rom just now.

1. Have you tried other roms ?
2. bugs in mi A2 rom ?
3. What's "patch" file here?

Just saw 30 min before this post and tried miA2 rom. And not tested anything.
Go to telegram oem roms channel, you can get all.

Bro. MIA2 ROM Is a Stock Android Based Device OEM port from It is like Pixel Port gsi. better mention it in SGSI.
SGSI is mainly Skinned ROM/Gsi.
Like Miui /H2oos/OOS/Funtouchos.
Boot them Then say anything .
Posting Steps to boot SGSI Based on stock android is now useless We already have booted tones of them.

Wew me nub me didn't that the last sgsi booted on our device is 4 month old and any ported treble rom is called sgsi and me tried yesterday it didn't booted with your so called booted sgsi

I think, you use MicroG. I tested Custom ROM RR latest version on this. Its worked.

If you have twrp,flash the update.zip downloaded from here.Twrp may be replaced by stock recovery.

Worked on Custom ROM 7.x.x
But, for FlymeOS, put app for sync google contact manually.
For all worked.. I use it for daily using ROM LOS 14.1

i do have meizu m2 mini with me (my mom uses it) also i can make roms but thing is our device trr+ sources are hell lot buggy :/ so cant be helped much but you can try GSI's like this aosp gsi compiled by @Dinolek use this as base and flash multiple 8.1 based Treble roms GSI's also some Android pie gsi boot up too but as always you have to deal with some small bugs

On flyme 6.2.1.0G, i use gapps installer of meizu itself. On custom, aroma.

K20/Mi9t MIUI 11 Launch

Beware...if you install MIUI11 beta you lose twrp.
And you cant install it back since there is no TWRP for android 10
