Hi, I just got a new 727 eui 5.18.018S .
Since I'm uppgrading from MotoG3 and I really liked the moto ( unfortunatelly GPS quit on that phone ), I'd like to have a similiar "stokish" android on the new Lepro.
I assume that's possible ?
Looking through the threads I see many different roms for that phone, so I'd like some suggestions.
What do you recommend for me?
I'd like prettymuch everything to work and be as stable as possible, google services et all.
Also what unlocking method do you recommend ?
Really appreciate any help here.
I would suggest LineageOS 14.1 (Android Nougat) which is about as stock as you can get.
To unlock the phone's bootloader for loading LineageOS check out this thread: X727 (US Model) Persistent bootloader unlock from 5.8.019s
LineageOS 14.1 can be found in this thread: [ROM][X72X][7.1.X][OFFICIAL] LineageOS 14.1 for LeEco Le Pro3

Thank you, small problem though my eui is at 5.8.018S , do I have to uppgrade to 019s ?
If so how?

I went straight from 18s to LOS 14.1
There is an extra step of flashing the 'aboot' sector in order to unlock the boot loader but otherwise it's quite simple if you gather all the needed files and prepare.
If you want to stay stock, this will get you to 21s

Thanks for the suggestion, I was talkin about stock as in "Stock android " without any EUI etc. like on Moto g's or nexuses.
But ....
After updating to 019S the eui sucks much less than before, so I may be tempted to update first to 021s to see if it can be liked at all.
One crucial question though, would I be able to unlock bootloader from 021s ?
From what I read on the forums experience varies?

Ah cool
Greetings to all.
I've been doing quite some time with my lg g2 d802 and I'm kind of tired of its android version. I would like to change the Rom and install Lineage OS 15 or at least Lineage OS 14 if the 15 is not yet well polished. The issue is that I have read that it is necessary to unlock the bootloader and I have tried to unlock it with FreeGee several times but nothing, I always appear an error that the version is not compatible when testing with KitKat and Lollipop. I can not find any other way in forums or on YouTube and I need help on how to unblock it if necessary or if it is necessary to install Lineage OS.
How did u unlock it?
I need help urgently and thanks to all <3 <3 <3

It may be obvious to others,but... What (if anything) does the project treble requirement to be able to boot a vanilla Android ROM do to the idea of the OEM locked bootloader?
I know that there are devs working on bringing project Treble to older/non-treble devices, but going forward, will devices shipping with Oreo, P and others in future be able to have OEM locked bootloaders and still meet the requirement of booting a vanilla android image?
I'm interested as I've not felt the need for a custom ROM since KitKat.

Yes as long as you can unlock the bootloader you can flash other system images to it or do whatever you want with the device.
But with a locked bootloader you cant alter the necessary system partition despite the device is treble partitioned.

After loading a GSI Treble ROM can the bootloader be relocked?
Is it worth unlocking bootloader on psmart? Fig lx1. I ask as it doesn't look like we got much support around here. For example: do we have Los 16? Pie? Or any other Android 9 custom ROMs?
What benefits have you reaped from unlocking?
Are you back in stock?
psmart has treble support so there are a whole bunch of GSI'S and the Openkirin project roms you can flash The problem with our device is camera .....therr are ports and hacks but nothing 100% ...
however its worth it unlocking just to get magisk & twrp for modding and ful device control ..
My Lg V20 H990DS update LineageOS 18.1 Loss of fingerprint identification。
Then I swiped back to the original system 20 a, and the fingerprints came back.
Can someone help me? I want to use the new system. It looks very good.
well the answer is right there, start from nougat and do the whole root procedure and flash los, you may need to flash permissiver too
