some way to repair the face id without previous one working? - Google Pixel 4 Questions & Answers

My screen and face id was cracked and i have read some threads about the face id function.
As i know, all the people who was change the display, replace put the old module on new screen and works fine. Other way is to replace only the new front camera in the old face id module and also works.
But, if mine face id is broken and new one tell something like "certificate expired" what can we do?

Have you solve your problem?

Screen Turns White When Opening To KeyBoard

I have a MDA and i got it from a friend and used it find for about 2 months
and then outta no where the touch screen stop working but the screen would still display i tried reflashing it and i got nothing still non working touch screen then today i went to open it to type a text message and my screen goes completely white while in keyboard mode
anyone gotta idea whats wrong?
This is quite likely a loose hardware connection. There's a thread here somewhere with a link to the hardware manual. You need to take the unit apart and check all the connectors going to the screen.
The caveat to this is, if you've recently loaded any software, that should be the first suspect. Barring that, though, I'd fall back to the hardware fault.
alright yeah thats what one of my friends was saying
he has a mda also and he was like sounds like wires are coming lose
any ideas on where that thread is?

htc hero(gsm) digitizer replacements don't work( 2 replacements )

so I got the first one, installed it, didn't work... put the old(cracked) one back in... works perfectly just has crackes all over the screen wich bother me...
I contacted the seller he said I could get a refund or a new one instead. I told him to send me a new one.
so the second one has the same problem, it just doesn't respond to touch...
booting in HBOOT mode I can see at the top that it recognizes the touch panel as(TOUCH-PANEL-SYN0104) same as the old one(I tested all three digitizers to be sure..)
so am I doing something wrong? I figured if the digitizer would be broken, It wouldn't be recognized by the HBOOT menu, like when I don't connect it at all it says: TOUCH-PANEL: fail.
I'm a developer so I really need this phone to work because the emulator is really laggish and slow, also I can't afford another phone so please if you have any experience with these things... help me out.
thanks!
Why dont you just ask the seller to fix it for u?
Maybe there is a wrong connection to the ground
As far as I know, the digitizer needs some kind of link to the ground that can be deficient in the two replacements you tried.
I don't know much about it, so it is just a assumption....

[HOWTO] Repair your broken SGS screen

I know theres other thread about it and I shouldnt post this but I thought we would like more updated tutorial how to do it.
Hey!
(JUST MY STORY, REPAIR GUIDE BELOW)
Just wanted to share my experience with you incase someone is in the same point and trouble I was.
So, my SGS got wet (mainly frontpanel) and the screen didnt work at all after that. I didnt know what to do, if I take it to the repair service, it will cost over 200 euros easily to repair it.
So, I searched some parts from the internet for self-repair. I found LCD screen, and it costed 170 euros. I watched video how to open SGS to the point I could change the LCD screen. It looked so hard I didnt even try it.
Then, I found whole frontpanel for SGS for under 100 euros.
I changed it, and it worked. It was quite easy to change the part.
(the first part I got from the shop was broken, and I returned it, but the second one I ordered worked)
HOWTO DO IT
so, you have a SGS which screen is bricked or not working. Dont worry.
Order this part: http://www.togytech.com/i9000-galaxy-s-full-assembly-lcd.html
Open your SGS to the point 1:20 of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plQWs9Yntdg&feature=related
(sorry the video is in russian language but its the best I found)
Change the new part and you are done=)
NOTE: THS IS *NOT* AN ADVERTISING I DONT ADVERTISE ANY SHOP I JUST FOUND A GOOD PART AND I JUST WANTED TO HELP YOU
I broke my i9000 once and I thought the front panel was broken.
But it turns out that the main panel was also broken. So I guess it is not easy to examine the phone ourselves.

Took phone out of my pocket and screen was magically broken...

I don't know what happened. My phone was fine while I was in class, and then a little while later I take it out and the screen is all jacked up. I can see just like the top notification bar, and that's about it. I can accept calls with voice, and use the S voice stuff to send messages and what not. I will upload some pics once I get home soon.
So basically, does anyone know how to tell exactly how much of it is broken? The glass doesn't even look broken, it looks like just the lcd screen and maybe the digitizer are broken? I'm not 100% sure how to tell though, so it would be nice to have some help in this department.
Also, does anyone know of some good tutorials on how to fix this myself once I do lock down the problem? I've never replaced a screen before, but I don't have insurance on my phone so it's just about my only choice.
This sucks. Any and all suggestions are helpful. Thanks.

i have tried to return but the seller didn't respond to my messages.
May be that fingerprint needs official Samsung Amoled display.. but try this before: if you have warranty go to samsung repair store, tell to them the fingerprint's problem and they (with a software) will fix the problem.. It happened to me when 2 years ago they changed the PCB to my A50, after that fingerprint didn't work anymore they fixed this like that.

NP. I think that, if you changed display not in an Samsung official repair store, they won't consider your request, but I hope that they will help you.
You can get replacement screens that have a fingerprint scanner in them and some that don't. It's a fused in part, so if the screen was made without it (usually cheaper) the phone won't have that feature anymore. You will need to replace the screen to get the function back.
