Ill try explaining it clearly
Yesterday I decided to go back to the stock firmware by flashing it and choosing the option to "clean and lock the bootloader" for the Redmi 3s MIUI 10.2. However I got many problems when going through my phone. First, Wifi and hotspot wont work, the message "device storage is corrupted, your device is unsafe" keeps showing up and lastly, i cannot connect to the MI account as it'll show the message "Couldn't check device security info".
This makes my phone unusable, so my choice is to flash a new firmware, if i don't unlock the bootloader the message "critical partition flashing is not allowed" will show up when flashing the firmware. So I need to unlock the bootloader.
The first one is the Mi unlock tool. This unlocks the device by signing into the MI account, which i can't because it'll show the message "Couldn't check device security info" again. This means that I can't use the Mi unlock tool.
The second one is the ADB and fastboot method. When booted to fastboot, i typed in "fastboot oem unlock" but the error shows and says "token verification failed" error and just reboots into fastboot again.
This then leaves me into nowhere to how to unlock my bootloader. Please help and thank you so much!

Hello guys! I have Chinese version of Meizu MX4 (android). After updating firmware to flyme 5 my phone stuck totally. I have bootloop (while flyme cloud is turning, after some time phone reboots by itself).
I tried to flash it through recovery drive, but every time after Firmware checking I see "Firmware Corrupt". I tried more than 20 different firmware but every time the same.
Bootloader is locked. I'm trying to unlock it through fastboot (command "fastboot oem unlock" is not recognized, so I tried "fastboot getvar all", I'm not sure that it's correct command, so maybe you can give me an advice in this issue as well) but without any result - "FAILED (remote: not support on security).
I really need help. Thanks in advance!

I've got a xiaomi redmi 2 4g global version , and unfortunately seems like it's bricked and stuck on mi logo.
As unlocking bootloader is a prior term before flashing anything on it, I tried to unlock it n went through all steps of creating mi account and permissions. Tried latest version mi unlock tool but it keeps saying" Device basic data vertification failed. This Device could not be unlocked" what's that mean????
Is there any other way to unlock it and flash a new rom???
I have to mention I can enter recovery or even fastboot mode with no problem, though there is a very small issue I suppose, when I try to wipe user_data through recovery mode it says "Data wipe failed" and wiping cache still works fine..... Is that a problem????

Redmi 2 is those old devices without locked bootloaders, just flash TWRP with:

My Redmi 7A got "system has been destroyed" after OTA update and restart phone :crying:
-i haven't MI Account registered
-USB debugging is OFF
-Unlock by OEM is OFF
-Bootloader is LOCKED
Because these....i can't get an way to unlock bootloader and flash the ROM.
The "only way" is use "emmc firehose" mod to bypass authentication over EDL method.
So..anyone can help me? I'm brazilian and there's no Xiaomi Customer's here.
Try visiting an expert. They have that weird box thing I don't remember what is it called but it fixes things. Used to go there with my old infinix hot2 when it's bricked.

I would advise you to reload the stock ROM again using MiFlash and then try to unlock the bootloader again
Seems like the Mi unlock tool cannot get your device's info so yeah try to flash the stock MIUI again and then try to unlock the bootloader again mate.

i did a stupid mistakes i guess, well yeah very stupid a newbie like me trying to lock with wrong method,
ok the point is, now i have my RN7 it was Unlocked bootloader. but few days ago, i made a mistake.
im trying to lock it through adb fastboot.
by typing fastboot oem lock and tadaa "system destroyed" message appear :s
i tried to flash it through miflash tool, but there is another message "Antirbpass" and its stuck,
trying to EDL, the message of hello packet appear.
then what should i do?

just open your device on fastboot and connect it to your pc , laptop
and and unlock bootloader again with miflash unlock tool
