Hi guys !
I have this question for you. I have an Android car radio that can be seen in the pictures.
It has the rk3066-eng 4.4.4 23022016 rom installed on it.
I don't know what manufacturer the radio is, but I suspect it's Chinese.
Its specification is as follows:
Kernel version : 3.0.36+ [email protected] #479
Build Number : rk3066-eng 4.4.4 23022016.09:07:01
CPU : ARM Cortex-A9 @1.6GHz (x2)
I would like to advise you if it is possible to change this system to another Android. It hurts me that everything is jamming and it takes a long time to load the radio. And most importantly, that I should be able to use the Polish language.
But it's not Android Auto, so have requested a moderator moves to [Android Head-units]
My opinion - buy another device.

So what is it if not Android Auto? At the moment, no funds to buy a new one, maybe some ideas to change the system?

Id like this thread to assist in identifying individual Android Powered Head Units. It would be helpful if you can add what device you own in a similar fashion to below. I believe it may assist in the 'Can I install this on my device?' posts.
My unit is:
Eonon G2110F (http://www.eonon.com/Android-Car-GPS/2-Din-GPS-Navigation/G2110F.html)
MTCB - KLD2 - RK3188 - 800x480 - 4.4.4
I have updated to MTCC-KLD6-2.96-5.1.1, it can be updated using ROMS from the MTCB thread.
Please post something similar of your devices.
good idea
My unit is:
Joying - JY-JL001 - https://www.amazon.com/Challenger-W...F8&qid=1475161690&sr=8-1&keywords=jeep+joying
MTCD - RK3188 - 800x480 - 5.1.1
I updated to Malaysk V4 for MTCD, but have since gone back to the mid-August Joying update
Thanks mate,
this doesnt really work if no one posts their unit details.
Hello everyone,
I recently purchased an Android Double Din Head unit, no name, with the following characteristics :
- Android 7.1
- K6_01_MH
- System : android K6_01_MH_V2.0.1_20180925
- MCU : CM_18.08.11_10.37
- APP : MT1002_V1.0.9
I was wondering if there was a better ROM that would be compatible with this head unit (please check attachements) since this one is really basic and, quite frankly, UI is really bad.
Thank you so much in advance.
Cheers all.
Hello,
can someone help me to identify the MCU version of my PX6 unit?
I would like to install a mod rom like Malaysk but I can't understand if it is compatible.
This is what is reported in the system info:

Thank you
Hey,
I also have the same unit, (but 2GB) and looking to find the Factory Settings code...
Seller told me "3368" - No, this is a wrong password .
if someone knows, can you please reply?

No there is no single custom ROM available.
Should have been really easy to verify that yourself...
Yours is called DH191029
You don´t have a MCU named: MTCD, MTCE or STM32
Neither of these MCU matches yours...
Hi rigattoni, it might be some custom Chinese SoC?
It looks it’s still ARM... Hm, does DH-1666 tells you anything? They sell it as 4 or 6 core 1.6GHz. Looks like a ref design with custom LCD config.
Anyway, ideas where to search (except of gooogle) would help.
Thanks

SoC may be not, but the "underwear" is different with other MCU.
...and sorry, I have no clue about these units.
Hi all,
I've found a password for "Factory Settings", it is "1314".
Hi, I'm new here and I'm writing via translator so I apologize in advance.
I recently bought a radio for a Mitsubishi Lancer X and according to the videos I should change the look, boot logo but I can't.
I have a password for the settings, even there is no such option.
I would just like the look that is here in the video.
- video was blocked (schema is KD Red)
My setup:
MCUVER: RL78c_NCHHWY_F070P
FrameworkVer: px6-userdebug 9 P12A.190305.002 eng.work2.20200520.1112957 test-keys
OSVer: 9 Mon May 18 16:43:35 CST 2020
APPVer: 20200611V2-1024x768-960C-chwy
Nandflash: 40GB/64GB
RAM: 3G/4G
BTVer: SD_carplay_I2S_20200306_sdk 1.7
Barcode: ZF_1259X02020065131
I wrote to phoenix automotive but they can't help me. The radio is not from them. They only recommended an app to change the look, but I don't want it, it will slow down the system.
So:
I have a logo change application but I can't change the boot logo or change the template. The radio does not have such a setting.
The radio does not have root.
Is there any way to solve my problem?
thank you for your time
Sup man, i guess your looking for my theme video [emoji16]. The theme is from a custom firmware, you will need to change from the default one to it.
The problem is the developer charge for the firmware.

Hi, I also have a Mitsubishi Lancer and recently bought a PX6 (model ZF-1259S branded by ZhiFang). I was able to change both the boot logo and car image from the home screen through the "Boot image" and "Advanced settings" in the system menu. If it asks for a password try 8861, that worked for me.
I don't know if you saw this, but this video from Phoenix Auto also shows how to change the car image manually copying the file:
Hope it works for you. Cheers from Brazil.

Hey there,
I was wondering if you ever found the factory firmware file for your head unit?
I have the Zhi Fang (This is the manufacturer of almost all of the tesla style head units.)
ZF1116s it has the same specs as your head unit exactly. As a side note I have already tried custom firmware from another fellow on here. It is good firmware, and adds a lot to the unit, but it does not restore functionality that the unit originally shipped with.
So yeah, if you have a file, or a link to it, I would be most grateful.
Thanks, Rick

So I have the RL78c head unit (for a slightly different model), and I did get mine from Phoenix. I asked them about the password for the 'system info' screen and they said that this unit doesn't have that, it's locked by the manufacturer. The only settings you have access to is the install set menu (the 8861 one). I'm not sure if those other settings exist and are just hidden elsewhere, or they just don't exist in this model of head unit.
rigattoni said:
Well... you don´t tell us which MCU and firmware is used.
BTW: That sounds like an issue in the CAN settings, that has nothing to do with the head unit itself.
Are you sure that you got the right unit for your car?

Yes is the right unit for my car, everything else works perfect.
It seems like every time the car is off that emergency light button is out of power, so when I start the car the lights will start flashing and have to press the button again to stop it.
I have talk with the manufacturer and have no solution.
Hi Everyone
I have a telefunken tices-719btgps Double Din Android Head Unit for my truck. I am pretty sure this is a generic rebranded unit and currently running Android 5.1.1. As seen in the pictures below is all the info i have about this head unit and want to try and upgrade it to a later version of Android or a more stable version with better functionality. However when checking / googling the MCU version i cant seem to find anything online. I have had my fair share of experience with Android Tablets and Devices but never tried to upgrade a head unit. Can anyone give me advice on how to get the correct image or where to find it by the information below.
There is absolutely no support for this unit online or from Telefunken. Any help would be appreciated.
Ok forum does not want me to post images so ill list the info below:
Android Version - 5.1.1
CPU Info - Intel Atom 4QuadCore, GPU4D: Mali-450 MP4

Hi, not an MTCx unit, so unlikely anyone reading here know your unit. Requesting mod moves to Android Head units section.
Suggest taking a little more time to search for your headunit, try searching for text portions of your MCU type and you might find discussion/posts for your unit.
