Greetings everybody,
please I need help.
Some days ago I rooted my lenovo tb-x606f and then I installed twrp recovery but Yesterday I uninstalled some preinstalled apps about games, browser and other little things and after this during rebooting the tablet it go in bootloader mode and now i'm not able to boot the system.
I tried to reflash the firmware with SP flash tool and the guide said to shutdown the lenovo tab during flasihng but nothing suceeded.
So I discovered the TWRP recovery was already working and I tried to format the tablet for cleaning it before a new flash but the twrp was unable to mount vendor and i tried to manually mount it in mount section without success.
So during a research i discovered that I need to proceed in fastboot mode flashing manually recovery.img; system.img; boot.img and userdata.img
I did this but the bootloop persists and TWRP recovery was deleted!
I tried the last command in command prompt adb fastboot in the folder of stock firmware: fastboot flashall but the reply is: fastboot: error: could not read android-info.txt
Thank you in advance and have a good day.
Use lenovo rescue smart assistant. download here
It will recognize the device model automatically and flash the latest firmware for it. 5 mins or so and it should be good as new. Unfortunately you'll have to flash twrp again and reroot.
Thank you,
i updated Lenovo Rescue Smart Assistant finding my tb-x606f that before was not present.
I downloaded the firmware in Lenovo Smart Assistant and via SP Flash Tool I flashed it, formatting data and browsing auth.key ; android scatter.txt; and update.bin (the first file)
$ fastboot set_active a

Hey guys,
I have a problem with a bricked xiaomi redmi 2 prime.
After a bootloop i tried to fix the problem with a system reset. But this does not work
After i booted into recovery and wiped all data, the phone reboot but than nothing happend. So i tried to flash the rom with the mi flash tool, but there i get the error "remote: failed to write partition".
So i went over to the adb and fastboot programms, with fastboot i erased system, userdata, recovery, boot and then i flashed the images of this elements back on the phone (fastboot flash sayed that flashing went successfully)
Then the phone reboot, nothing happend and i can´t get into recovery mode, also adb doesn´t recognoze the phone anymore
Have you any idea what i can do to fix the phone, or can i put it into the trash?
Thanks for your help
Stop experimenting.
Does fastboot work? Do a full flash with miflash(erasing all storage)(firmware should be of your model itself)
If fastboot doesnt work, try putting in the charger with battery in,if there is any vibration, you have a chance of reviving your r2

Yup actually download the latest version of miui fastboot files..paste them in the fastboot folder... Dont bother erasing you phn again(as it does erase at the time of writing new files...)And most importantly flashing only 3 files is more than enough. Flash them in the order boot.img, system.img, recovery.img and thats it. If your problem is actually not booting into fastboot then....press the volume down button and insert your usb while keeping it pressed.
Hey guys,
thanks for the answers. I tryed to flash only thees 3 files but it doesn´t change anything. fastboot works without trouble so far.
I tried multiple times the xiaomi flashing tool but this only throws errors -.-'
I will try again and keep you by the actual progress ^^

If you can get the fastboot to work, you can flash recovery on your phone for good or temporarily to flash zips.
How to do it?
1.Get into fastboot on phone
2.Install minimal adb and fastboot in your computer
3.Run adb and install drivers
4.Connect your phone which should be in fastboot to computer
5.Check for devices by using "fastboot devices", if a device is listed, proceed
6.Download a custom recovery, rename the recovery img to something easy than using the full name and copy the img into the folder where minimal adb and fastboot is installed
7.Type in "fastboot flash recovery <name you gave to recovery img>.img" (img for the image format) to flash recovery permanently
OR
7.Type in "fastboot boot <recovery name>.img" to use it temporarily, this method will erase the recovery on reboot so flash whatever you want before rebooting if you're following this method.
8.Flash in your ROM zip, try stock and custom ROMs, see if you can get your phone to work
GOOD LUCK
Same error with my yureka plus (error "remote: failed to write partition"). I'm planning to buy redmi 2 prime.. . Scared if this will happen to redmi 2 prime
So I was trying to get my firmware updated on my ZE550KL but it was showing a consistent error. (E Unable To Mount /asdf)
When I checked up how to flash the firmware manually, I saw a guide showing how to do so but would require to manually erase system and asdf folder from fastboot. I did so and went into recovery mode to try and update from sdcard, but in vain. So I tried to flash the zip file from adb sideload but it was showing the error : * Cannot read Update.zip *
So right now, I'm stuck with a phone that won't boot and the firmware zip, I do not know how to proceed, I'm pretty new at this. Please help! Thank you
Edit :
Specific details :
I have the following with me :
ADB / Fastboot
UL-Z00L-WW-21.40.1220.2153-user.zip
boot.img and recovery.img of build 1531 (Lollipop)
Same problem

I have a similar problem, my ZE550KL won't enter in recovery mode and stuck in fastboot mode, if i press POWER+VOLUME UP he won't power on the screen and opens 6 disks via usb asking for format. If someone can help us, please.
Easy method :-
Flash twrp recovery using fastboot and flash boot.img and recovery.img of latest Asus firmware then boot in to Asus stock recovery and flash the latest firmware:good:
Hey all,
Thanks for reading my thread!
I am on build VKY-L09C654B203. First I unlocked the bootloader successfully, then I installed TWRP 3.1.0.0 with no trouble.
But while I was trying to root my device, I must have flashed a faulty supersu.zip. My device went stuck on "your device is booting now" screen.
At this moment I still have access to:
eRecovery (useless)
TWRP (entered with UP_VOL + POWER, hold until you see the TWRP screen, DO NOT attach any cable to your phone)
Fastboot / Bootloader / Emergency mode (entered by first turning off your phone, then hold DOWN_VOL while connecting your phone to your computer)
Realizing that I might have a corrupted boot sequence, I tried and flashed several boot.img, but they didn't help.
I tried flashing some other versions of the supersu.zip, even tried a UPDATE-unSU-signed.zip to revert back the damages, but none worked.
So after panicking a lot, I calmed down and realized that the problem is still the boot.img file.
I used fastboot commands:
Code:
fastboot oem get-build-number
fastboot oem get-product-number
to get my precise build number, then googled a russian site that listed my build in full zip.
The site is http://pro-teammt.ru/ and I downloaded the "FullOTA-MF" file.
I then used this wonderful tool called Huawei Update Extractor (worstenbrood) 0.9.9.5 to extract the UPDATE.APP (you'll have to unzip the zip file first), and found the BOOT.img in it.
After extracting the BOOT.img, I booted my phone to bootloader mode and used the command:
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
After receiving a success message, I restarted my phone and it was able to go right pass the loading screen!
Anyway, I started this thread while losing all hopes in humanity, but ended up solving my problem before pressing publish, so I thought I might as well turn this into a guide. I couldn't have done it without many people's help, but sadly I didn't keep record of the authors where I got my helps with, so apologies to them.
I'm attaching the tools I used so you can download them.
Best Regards!

I am trying to use Oreo ROM on my old Honami SOL23.
I have xzdual recovery installed.
I installed pre-rooted international rom 14.6.A.1.236 and it is fully working.
Now I am trying to upgrade my TWRP.
I used TWRP manager, Rashr(flashed twrp.Img on Fota), dd =if... command in terminal emulator, uninstalled existing XZdual recovery.
Used adb command. all attempts showed success but I am unable to boot into my upgraded TWRP(3.0.2-0-honami)
I only can boot into TWRP(3.0.2-0-honami) temporarily (recovery.Img file is in my Pc) through
Fastboot boot recovery.img command,
Tried installing .Img file with this temporary recovery but error: opening directory warning comes up in red) and recovery is gone when rebooted. I tried several times.
i did a lot of search on Google and xda threads. Some experienced similar problem previously but I found no solution yet. Actually I am curious now about what's wrong with this rather having Oreo ROM. Your help will be much appreciated. Sorry for my bad English
Flashed Linease Oreo (port) through temporary booting into latest TWRP. Problem is solved apparently.
But I don't know whether it is possible to flash latest recovery and stay in my stock ROM at the same time.
Hope XDA tech experts of will remove my confusion . Thank you.
Hi there,
after a normal shutdown, my xiaomi redmi 4 prime is not booting anymore.
it is stuck on MI Logo. I can enter fastboot and download mode. Phone is NOT rooted and Bootloader seems to be locked, but fastboot flash recovery seems to work. But all my hope to get a twrp started failed until now. I REALLY need the files from that phone. If somebody can help me, i will pay you money if you SUCCESSFULLY help me recover the files.
Beside, adb mode does not more work, after trying to fastboot flash a twrp image. But in ADB Mode i was in sideload mode, where no commands like pull did work. Oh and i never turned od developer mode i think. I will not stop believing there must be some person on this planet who can rescue my data.
thanks for any help.
I believe adb and developer mode are irrelevant since they work from within the system. One option is to make twrp recovery boot and copy files from it, but since you tried and failed you could try something else, but as last resort since I don't remember if it saved my data.
Since your bootloader is locked you cannot flash boot partition, but you can flash every other which cold fix your system. You should find EXACT same rom you had and extract partitions you want to flash (you have tutorials online, I don't remember, think you just extract them). If you try to flash complete rom with locked partition, process will fail.
fastboot flash system
fastboot flash recovery
fastboot flash data?!or whatever (or not data if your files are there)
Hope I gave you another perspective..
