Android-Update? How? - Android Head-Units

Hello,
I have an Android-Head-Unit with Android 5.1.1 and would like to "lift" this level with a newer Android because of 2 important apps do not run any longer with 5.1.1
I am no expert in such things! Is there any way to do such an upgrade via usb-stick or downloaded file? I have WLAN and Bluetooth in the unit and can connect via router or BT.
I don't have any information from which company this unit is. (bought via Ebay)
All information I have is on the printscreens.

You are in the wrong subforum. This is an AC8227 unit. You need to be in the https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/android-head-units.4267/ Head units forum.
But even so: a 5.1 version? I guess you are in bad luck. Units this old are mostly not supported anymore.

Sorry - I saw "Head Units" // It is 5.1 - see the screenshots. And it is only 4 years old

I am sorry to say, but 4 years for there units is very old. Most units are supported for 1~2 years at the most.
I have requested the moderators to move your thread to the Head Units thread. There you will find several ac8227 related threads also, like "Collection of 8227l firmware (android vers:6-9)" and others.

Android Headunit issues, please help

Hi, not sure if anyone can help me, I have a unbranded android head unit and a couple days ago, the audio volume dropped on everything except the radio. It seems as if only lower frequencies are playing or as if it’s just at a low volume.
I am led to believe this is a software issue: not hard ware as the volume returns to normal when using the radio.
My subwoofer is connected and works normally. I’ve factory reset the Headunit but this has not solved it.
and so I am absolute noob and need pointers of where to go from here. I have attached 2 images of what info I think is needed to find what updates I need. I do not see any MTCD/E from the ‘MCU’ and I don’t know what updates are compatible. Thanks for any assistance.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
Is this the right ROM for my device.
I’ve searched everywhere and have even opened up the unit.
I found the MCU chip that begins with STM80

Need Help with 10" Android Head Unit Hyundai Tucson 2017/2018

So the Android head unit on the family's Tucson is a Beryllium brand Head unit installed by the Hyundai showroom. It boots to a pure black screen, radio doesn't work but Bluetooth does. I think the cause was from a failed firmware update and would like to know how to put it in recovery mode or are there any software I could flash in my flash drive to fix it.
Apologies for the bad photo, the vehicle is in use atm and this is the best photo I could find in my phone
The unit if memory serves me right from the device info was rckPX2 I think? Android 4.4.4

Problems with Eonon GA2189S Head Unit - HELP!

Good afternoon everyone,
I just recently purchased an Eonon GA2189S Head Unit.
Build number: full_825x_Pro-Octa PPR1.180610.011.eng.root.20200426.093427 userdebug
Custom Build Version: android-trunk-p0.825X_Pro
First problem: One of the main reasons I bought this head unit was to use Torque to monitor engine vitals in my 2009 Infiniti G37 Coupe. The unit comes with a preinstalled version of Torque OBD, but when I try to download themes I am met with the following error (I will attach screenshot). It does not matter what type of Wifi I am connected to, whether its the strong signal from my home or the hotspot on my iphone.
When I emailed Eonon, they said their "Engineer" said its "not compatible with their head unit" and that they are "sorry". I sent an email to Torque customer service to no avail.
I'm really not happy, as I have had it running on my Android Phones for the last 2 years with absolutely no issue. But this unit doesn't even have a reboot button! I need a paperclip to reboot the system.
Does anyone have any experience with this android build, and im looking for info on what modifications I can make to the OS. I want my Torque themes to work and I do not want to be limited!
Please advise with any suggestions or tips - thank you all so much!

Needed help with a challenging head unit!!

Hello everyone,
I am new here, but I have been reading many topics from here which helped me a lot in my head unit.
Actually I have a head unit which is operating with a strange firmware. I couldn't find any support online for this firmware, you can see its code in the image below.

}
I am wondering how to update its firmware?
Another thing is that it says that the android is 12.1 which I do not believe. I will never believe that this head unit operates with Android 12.1. I am sure it's fake and the actual version is lower.
I couldn't find any firmware updates except for (XY Auto).. So can I update my firmware? to make it more fast, reliable and stable?
Thanks in advance.

Install Fake Device Test from the store and you will see it´s Android 8 possibly.
Making it faster? Unfortunately not with this CPU. It´s a quad core unit with only 2GB RAM, so don´t expect that much.
For getting more information of your unit type, search in this forum for your MCU. There are a lot of threads running for this unit.

Problems 8227L demo and update firmware

Hello everyone. My name is Julien and I'm French so sorry for the translation ^^ I recently replaced my Chinese car radio under winX by another Chinese but Android and as I expected I have some problems with it. I specify that it is for a bmw e46 330cd. First the built-in eq is really horrible even with my old Chinese the sound was much better. Here is the eq in question

}
There is a second one in the canbus settings but nothing happens when I change the settings would you know why? Here is a photo of the eq which is not working
Then it does not memorize radio stations or volume settings in the Android part. Finally is there a better firmware for this HU? I will post pictures of the exact model I have. Thank you a thousand times for the time you will take and again sorry for the translation ^^
Hi.
I would ask your seller how to correct all that.
If not answered , I would return this for a refund.
hello and thank you for your answer the seller is only an intermediary and does not really know the HU ^^ I will have to manage without him. I think that changing the firmware could partially solve these problems.
if ever a charitable soul had a rom for me that would be great. I see plenty but not knowing enough I'm afraid to put a bad one and end up with a breeze block
some more info if it helps
Version CAN: E46 -V1.0-200731
Version MCU: JCMM20-0-2022.01.06_14:58
Panel info: MIPI_1024x600-2021/7/7 21:10:55
System Version
JCAC10003-OC2-V1.0.15R6-220406_1513-AA
Keep searching for flashing ROM then and helping to install it properly...
