Don,t know how but the motherboard of my Redmi k20 6GB/64GB is shorted or damaged.
The new one is very much expensive.
1. Searching for used Redmi k20 with damaged screen or battery so I can replace the motherboard with it.
2. Can I buy a damaged Redmi k20 pro with a damaged screen and battery and swap the motherboard and cameras and charging board with it.
Looking for answers, please help.

Hi there I have a note 3 Sm-n9005 that was accidently charged with the cable from another device. I think the mainboard is gone. Its the international unlocked version and because of that I can't send it back to samsung.I was wondering if there was any other mobo I can use instead of the N9005(LTE version)? And if I can what would be required. By the way am outside of the US.
I have about 8 different USB chargers, from many different devices, including some chinese tablets, I use them all with Note 3, no problem, so either the charger was faulty, or wasn't designed for your voltage (like running 110 volt charger on 220V)? Anyhow, If the charger caused the problem I think you can replace just the USB port with tiny circuit board, since the damage should have been limited to that area. I'm not sure about MB, but they may have slightly different layouts and different radios, probably best bet would be to call shops selling those and ask, but again I would try to replace USB board first. Also MB won't come with USB port anyway and if damage was caused by charger, USB port is first in line to get damaged.
Thanks for your help pete. I didnt mention it but i got a friend to charge my battery for me in his phone, but its still not coming on. Thats what convinced me that its the motherboard.

Do you open the phone? You need all the pcb or only the usb port? Maybe you can solder another to the same pcb

also @lokenok
The charging port is a separate module with a vibrator and maybe an antenna. Replacing it is uber easy. Search for JerryRigEverything's video on how to disassemble the phone, he even remarks the modularity I think
mine is with same issue.... cannot charge phone because USB plug didnĀ“t make cantact when i plug the cable.
Cannot find any spare parts, usb module or flat cable online....
If someone have any tip, please share.

Hi i have problem with my Leeco Le pro 3. Phone is working but no charging. I can smell like smoke from usb port. I found on aliexpress new charging port. Is this is easy to repair? In service they want to much money for repair. Is it possible repair this by my self?
As long as the port isn't soldered to the motherboard. IDK if it is or not. You'll have to search for teardown videos or images of the phone's disassembly. If you're lucky the setup might be the exact same as the Le 2's, which does have disassembly guides. If it doesn't, you're pretty much SOL because I can't find any teardown videos of the Pro3. You can replace the Le 2's charging port (its flex cable is under the battery)

@op yeah, the usb port sits on a separate board, look @ the site I linked..
I found this board but without vibration motor and speakers. So i must apply this from old board to new?

Yup. Doesnt seem to be difficult, it's all on connectors (look @ the pics on aliexpress), only the small circular object (vibration motor? microphone? dunno) needs to have its + and - wires soldered on.

Is there the possibility that a 5130 can take another model's motherboard?
i have redmi 3s phone (2gb ram/16 gb rom). i want to put mainboard assy of redmi 3s prime in it making it to (3/32)
Mainboard Assy of 32 gb on mi site shows rs 2199 without labour charges
i want to ask it is possible in doing so.
i read on net ur IMEI changes with change im Mainboard assy what is problem with changed IMEI??
18% GST additional levied on both the board price and labour charges. Considering for battery replacement the latter is around INR 300-350 expect it to be much higher for mobo replacement. I think there's a chance they wont even agree to it. And in any case if any issue arises they will bear no responsibility and you might end up spending extra to rectify it. Anyways it does seem worth it to spend upwards of 3k on such an old device which quite frankly is noticeably slow by modern standards. I am still using the 2GB variant as a secondary.
