Dasaita PX6 Android 10 AA Help - Android Head-Units

Hi everyone-
Looking for some help here; I sifted through the XDA forums a bit to see if there was anyone else with this issue but could not find anything. Apologies if this has already been answered.
I recently installed a Dasaita PX6 unit into my car with Carplay/AA. Carplay works fine with iOS and the zlink that came with the unit. But when I plug my Android device in (that's on Android 11), it does not work. Zlink stays on that "Waiting" screen.
My Android phone is giving me that notification "Android Auto is available. Continue on your car screen" but there's nothing to "continue" on.
The current zlink version is 4.0.2 and I cannot uninstall / install a new version of it.
Any details will help

I had the same issue and found the latest MCU update and bingo works now Zlink is at 4.0.32 and I get Wireless Android Auto

Android auto seems to not work with zlink on my px5 Android 8.0 joying unit

Hi guys
Just had the unit installed, and can't get the Android auto to work. When I try, it opens zlink and states "androidauto has been closed, re open?" While it has automatically opened on my phone, and is clearly open. I have added images of my errors.
It also says that the connected device is unable to access data on this device.
Any clue?
Got a response from joying.
"as your 'androidauto closed' , we think that your phone is android 8. because our head unit cannot support the android 8 phone."
Thanks for notifying us of this when I purchased it.
Did you ever find a workaround for this issue?

Xtrons TR100

Processor type- UltraOcta-T8
Android version- 7.1.2
MCU- 5.3.19-94-84-E06101-180111
System ver- v9.2.2_20180314.153952_TW2-FD
I have the Xtrons tr100 which has been a very great upgrade from the last unit I had, especially the sound quality. The only problem I'm having is an issue with the bluetooth which will not connect to my obd2. When i search for bluetooth devices the obd2 does show up, when I press and hold on obd2 3 options pop up which are ok, obd2, and cancel. I tried all options with no success. I went into the extra settings and chose bc6 and/or bc8 with no luck. Anything elee I'm missing or could try?
Hi, Your unit appears to be an allwinner unit and so posting in the android auto forums you might not get a response. Here's a starter for you:

Thanks a lot

Hi Marchnz,
you said above that "trigga_b Your unit appears to be an allwinner unit and so posting in the android auto forums you might not get a response." would be better on a different thread why is that?
I have the same head unit TR100 and after searching for Xtrons TR100 I ended up here do you not consider this an android head unit it is running Android 7.1 nougat

CarPlay options

Hi all
I’m looking for a summary of the CarPlay options for android units.
the good the bad the ugly
I know if the following Options, but I don’t know the benefits/reliability of them, nor how to get them working
1. carlinkit dongle
2. Zlink (so many old apk’s about, how to get the latest and how to get them activated)
3. Tlink (zlink competitor?)
4. Speedplay (another zlink competitor?)
Do any of the apps automatically change the CarPlay theme from dark to light depending on the headlights on state?

It seems Zlink and Tlink are made by the same company zjinnova.
I am looking for anything that would work with my headunit. It came with an old version of tlink that would never connect to my phone. I received a firmware "update" from the seller to address the issue which which caused a tlink error. I recently installed Tlink 3.75, no error but needs activation.
TS9 (Spreadtrum SC9853I)
Speedplay, need to look into that one.

Can't get Android Auto to start

Hi
Recently installed an Erisin Android head unit in my Mercedes. Unit works well. I updated the firmware also. Running C2DN firmware?
Problem is I can't get Android Auto to start on the head unit. I connect my Android phone and then go to Android Auto app. The phone recognises the head unit, but no Android Auto splash screen on the head unit. (The one with Maps, Spotify icons etc).
I installed Android Auto on the head unit via an apk file, but still no go. Is there a different version for head units compared to the one found in the Google store?
I tried a different USB cable but as I thought, that didn't fix anything.

Android Auto app from Google Playstore is only for the phone.
Usually the head units have pre-installed the required app. You should ask your seller how to activate.
Yeah, that's what I thought. I will look deeper. Thanks!
