UIS 7862 & AYI mcu questions - Android Head-Units

Update: so i tried my luck and updated my headunit MCU, and luckily everything went smooth & good
but nothing have changed in canbus settings. Anyway I'll attach that working mcu for IYING headunits.
Hey there,
I've bought an after-market screen for my MG HS in the package of "joying" but after inspection i've found that it has an mcu of a company named "AYI" with same specs of joying screens. I've found it when flashing FW upgrade of joying and a yellow bar showed that fw and mcu does not match
For instance, most of my car settings through screen works good (like AC and rear cam, locking srttings) but i miss lots of other settings from my original screen like ambient light settings and trunk opening degree ... etc
I've flashed a custom rooted rom from 4pda for 7862 and it works flawlessly, also i've found mcu that should work for AYI but still afraid to flash it to avoid hard-bricking my device ... finally these are my questions:
Does MCU upgrading can affect settings for car canbus that is showing in factory settings menu
Could anyone assure that my screen's mcu belongs to AYI

Finally, my screen is allegedly running Android 10 with 6gb of ram
Sorry for my bad english

Before flashing another compatible FYT firmware to your model, you should have changed the [ro.build.fytmanufacturer]: [43] to the value of your manufacturer. That is described multiple times here and on 4pda.
That causes the yellow bar and some of the settings not working correctly.
If you still have your old firmware, then check that value and modfy your Joying firmware before flashing.

I've solved this problem already but i used this code in the config file of the rooted & modded firmware:
FYT = 31 ro.build.fytmanufacturer = 31 MCU AYI IYING DATONG TECHNOLOGY ANTWING
thanks anyway ❤

updated my mcu and here's the new mcu info
my screen is called IYING

I have problem on UIS 7862 & AYI mcu too. I'm flashing FW upgrade of joying and a yellow bar showed.
I tried to change ro.build.fytmanufacturer = 31 but it stuck at google logo.
Can you help me?

do we have an update MCU version ???

Pumpkin 12-C0252-US-A

Hi guys,
I just installed a Pumpkin 12-C0252-US-A, and need some help figuring out upgrading the firmware. The about screen gives me the following info:
Build # Alex5701_V1.19
TFT: 5701-2015928-154740-V01
MCU: 5701-20150930-083502-V01
Which leads me to believe this is an AL-5701 / AL-C0241, which has a page on the Wiki, along with a link to the MCU and firmware files. I'd like to put Malaysk's firmware on, so my question is, will the MCU file for the AL-5701 / AL-C0241 from the wiki, and Malaysk's RK3188 1024X600 firmware from 18 October, 2015 work together properly? Malaysk's firmware post has a link to a MCU post, but all the MCUs there have letters for versions, rather than numbers (like 5701), so I'm worried that the two files won't be compatible.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
The Malaysk's firmware do not suitable for the item you bought, if any problem with the radio system, you may contact the seller to get the firmware for your unit. I asssume the seller should be Pumpkin, right?

Hi There
I've heard about that, their radio app have issue with the system date. If you swtich to year 2015, then it will work without problem. But right now, they already released new radio app, you may can download from the following link and install to replace the old app by ESbrowser. Check attached photo!

HiZPO head unit Quad Core Android 5.1

I just bought a chinese Android head unit off ebay.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/332060332923
I came here for some tips but it looks like the MCU that is on the unit is a different variant than the MTC* that XDA mentions.
The MCU that is listed on the unit is SM92B1.161111.V1-CYD-B3.
Is anyone familiar with this? I would love to get this thing modded a bit.
If it helps any, the splash screen when starting up is HIZPO.

I called the seller and they confirmed that there is only one color LED. this unit sucks and lacks features. next time around I'll pay a little more for a bit more known head unit.

Logging into the admin menu using password 12580 and you can change your LED colour. (Y)

Upgrade F9212B from Android 9 to 10 ?

Hi,
I have head unit as on this image:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I've found that for F9212B therte is more recent version of XYAUTO UI 7.3.7, but it's based on Android 10.
I wouldn't bother to think about firmware upgrade if head unit would work as expected, but I have some problems with it that I hope, new firmware could fix:
1. FM Radio volume is too loud even if android volume is just on level 1 (0 is silence)
2. FM Radio is not fading volume when sat nav voice is appearing.
3. Google Maps is a bit slow and I heard that different firmware could fix it.
4. My headunit is 1DIN with automatic foldable screen - I wish to keep it open all the time, while it fords back every time I take the keys off.
So, I have a question if loading this firmware:
link to xyauto(login: xyauto pass: 123456)
will fix any of above problems? If not, what other I could upgrade to?
Or maybe it's all pointless and just should stay with what I have?
Is upgrading the firmware safe? Is there option to roll back ?
Is there any risk that something will stop working ?
Hey,
yes, xyauto version 7.3.7 will fix the radio 1/0 volume level and few others.
You have to search instruction tutorial.
For my specific model F9212B this is the link to download the SW upgrade

file.xygala.com
You have to find the one for your own model, select horizontal/vertical screen and so on
Thanks for answer.
I've installed that new version and nothing exploded.
As for now I have noticed that update even if was marked as Android 10 in fact didn't change Android version from 9.1 to 10.
Only what actually has changed is only XYAUTO version from 7.3 to 7.3.7.
In don't mind Android version, so it's not problem.
It needs some more testing, so later will report how it works.
---------------------
XYAUTO 7.3.7 is much better than 7.3
Radio is not as problematic as was before. Older version of Google maps works great.
Launcher also very nice and no need to use others now.
One issue that still persist: My head unit is DIN1 size and has automatic screen opening mechanism. Since some time screen opening button on front panel stopped working.
System update didn't fix that, so it just ensures me the update don't contain complete firmware, but just XYAUTO front end. Android and MCU stays the same.
I've checked and electrically buttons are working well (switch is okay), so it is software issue.
I've fund physical button study menu - and there is some options possible to set there, but no automatic screen.
If someone has knowledge or idea - how to fix this - please PM me.
Thanks
Hi there
What version should I upgrade based on this info?
Seems there are a couple of updates, check from root folder your exact screen size and other characteristics.
You have to translate from chinese.

thank you. I have a 4+64 device.
It seems like 1.94 is not stable. Did you install 1.97 and it worked? Could you send me an information about the seller so I can get in contact? thx a lot

here is the link from whom I bought from, as I understand it, the OS update for these devices is almost the same for all of them, the only difference is the MCU. The seller just sent me the wrong update for the MCU (sent 4 + 128, and I have 8 + 128) and now 4gb works for me instead of 8gb. so I'm looking for someone who has an MCU XRC 8 + 128
ZLH_ID8_OS_8581_1.97 ONLY FOR BMW !!!! MCU: XRC and ZLH (I have MCU XRC everything works well, I did not check it on ZLH)

Android 10 and up AC8257 mcu stm32 vertical screen firmware need

Hi all
ive been reading and looking for a while a firmware based on this unit but ive been unsuccessful. Ive found various firmwares out there, but all are for landscape units.
If someone has or know where i can find a firmware for this unit, please let me know. i tried pda, and various threads(xy, px6, etc) in this forum and found nothing worked cause even though those firmware are base on ac8257, the MCU is different. Some has the correct cpu and mcu but are for horizontal or landscape unit.
i tried to modify the screen orientation via adb and ro.sf.hwrotation, but it doesn't work on latest android . There is another methode editing and xml file, but it looks too complicated for me .
The unit is 4-64gb 768x1024 resolution.
HARDWARE info b200 core 8
Thanks in advance
