Can't connect to ANY Wi-Fi AP - OnePlus 8 Pro Questions & Answers

Hi together,
yesterday, suddenly, my OP8Pro stopped connecting to any WiFi Access Point AT ALL.
I tried it at home, at work, everywhere. I can still make a WiFi HotSpot without any problems, but cannot connect or save a AP in the setting. I see every AP without problems, but when i click on them, I'll get an error message.
I tried everything expect the factory reset. I cleared all network settings, all app setting, wiped the cache and so on. Even flashed the whole Beta 11 Image again.
Can somebody please give me an advice? I want to avoid the factory reset, because I want to wait for the EU-Rollback Update to only configure my device once again.
Thank you for your help

Cingular 8125....ugh

I recently upgraded my ROM to the new version from HTC. After that, my GPRS stopped connecting. I verified all the settings, even went so far as to delete and reinput the settings.....no change
So, I decided to downgrade the ROM. When I attempt to load it, as soon as it starts, the ActiveSync connection drops, and then XP sees it as a new device, so the fucntion failed. I reset the phone, by removing the battery, and it restarts fine.
Does anypne have any suggestions? This is bugging the heck out of me.
do a hard reset. my wife had the same problem with the GPRS not connecting after she upgraded and i told her to do a hard reset. everything was fine after that. best to do it right after the upgrade before u start customizing everything

Help - updated my desire Z and now cant use WIFI

Hey everybody.
I got today an update and I thought to myself it would be nice. I didn't think that the fact I rooted my device should be mentioned about it.
since I updated my phone I can't use WIFI. when i'm pushing the wifi button it does nothing and below it "error" is written.
can anyone help me?
Thanks!
Have you tried Settings.. Wireless.. then deleting/forgetting the password etc,... then re-connect again?
I can't. again, under the "able/unable wifi" written "error". when i'm trying to push it it's trying to turn on and then comes back to error.
I think others had this problem because of rooting and unfortunately the fix is running the RUU to return to stock - but this will wipe your phone. But before that try a simple factory reset (Settings > SD & Phone Storage > Factory data reset).

Phone will not automatically switch from WIFI to mobile data

Folks,
Strange one. Just upgraded to Lollipop 5.0 and now when I move out of range from a WIFI access point, my phone DOES NOT automatically switch to mobile data. Previously on KitKat 4.4.2, where this would occur automatically.
Strange thing is that when I manually switch off the WIFI transmitter on my phone, it then switches to mobile data.
Don't want to have to do this all the time when I'm out of range!
Any advice would be great.
Thanks in advance.
Mine did that once, clearing cache from recovery and rebooting the phone fixed it
Turn off smart network switch too from wifi settings
Cheers.
Will give this a try.
Also remember that after upgrading from KK to LP, leaves a load of rubbish files behind from KK that cause all sorts of problems, it is highly advised to factory reset after upgrading, you'll find most people here have done that and it solves a majority of problems
Ok cool.
Looks like I might have to do this.
Have tried clearing cache from recovery and have also disabled autoswitching - still getting the same issue.
Will try a factory reset.

Phone connected but no internet

Hi everyone,
i am having a SM-G900F (it is t-mobile). It is on stock lollipop LRX21T.G900FXXU1BNL9 with modem and bootloader BOB7 (which i flashed a week ago).
I have problems since the last 2-3 days, my phone is connected to a working WiFi or mobile data and everything seems alright, but it isn't, i don't have any internet access. I have to turn of WiFi or mobile data and turn it on and eventually it starts working again :S
Does anyone has an idea what the problem may cause and how should i fix it? Thanks in advance
EDIT: Also if i take out the battery of my phone and turn it on afterwards, it turns off but with a black screen, and i get a "System fc", and i have to try to turn it on a few times to get it work like it should, but if i turn off the phone without taking out the battery it turns on just fine everytime
First thing Id try is clearing CACHE from Recovery
Did you factory reset after updating to Lollipop from KK? It is needed to get rid of left over bugs / files from KK

When i bought the phone (used) it already had lollipop on it. I tried clearing cache+dalvik cache but still the same, but didn't tried a factory reset, right now i am downloading a custom rom, will wipe everything and see what happens after that.
Some strange thing that i noticed is, that the internet now won't work for any app escept for viber, on viber it works without problems
Right now i have flashed another ROM with wipe-ing everything before and i have still problems with the internet :S
i don't know what do to now :/
EDIT: Data is working, but wifi connects but no internet :/
EDIT2: I've found out what the problem is, it wasn't my phone, it was some weird virus which changed my routers DNS settings

HELP: Encryption Unsuccessful TB-X104F

I i had to reflash the firmware the correct one TB-X104F_S000024_180930_ROW_DCC. Anyway it wasn't booting at all before i flashed. Now it boots, shows the logo etc and constantly says Encryption unsuccessful!, so i reset it and factory reset it but nothing changes.
I have no idea where else to go, bootloader is locked and all i can do is flash the firmware. Would there be a way to remove this from the files within the firmware?. It seems like android is there in the background but i can't get away from that encryption unsuccessful screen!
Sorry if none of this makes sense.
Yo. I got the same tablet bro. Been trying to figure out a custom recovery for her. A stock ROM would be great to have and I haven't been able to find one anywhere. Might I inquire as to where you found yours? It would be a huge relief to know I can fix it if I break it lol.
encryption
If you download the Lenovo MOTO smart assistant from Lenovo support it has a resque option. I also used that to root my tb-x104f. It downloads the original everything and if you take the boot image from the file it downloads and replace it in one that has been modified from magisk it will rescue it and you will have root also thatd what I did with mine
same problem here, reflashed with stock rom. and not resloved

Did you fix this issue?
I am having the same problem.
Thanks
Same problem here (my error reads "Decryption unsuccesful", but I think it's the same as yours).
After a few tries, I believe that it is a problem with the internet connection. After the factory reset, if I skip the wifi connection step, it starts normally. And it is completely usable. I can load pdf documents or apks by the usb from a computer and it runs correctly. But whenever I try to set the wifi connection, it updates something and it causes the tablet that the next time I turn it off, I find the error on the picture when turning on. It asks for a password and no matter which password you enter, then it delivers this message.
In resume, right now it is a completely functional tablet if you NEVER connect it to the internet and load anything you need via usb or bluetooth.
I tried to reset it with Lenovo Smart Assistant, but the result is the same.
I am looking for custom roms to try if it's something about the stock rom, but I haven't found any. Can anyone reccomend me a rom for Lenovo E10 X104F 2GB?
Solution: (Worked for me)
Format Data as F2FS in TWRP. (Advanced Wipe)
Then reboot and wait.
