I have a developing android box VS-RK3399 from Videostrong. On the official forum admins posting trash and have not support. From the internet i have image android 8.1 without root and GooglePlay.
May be you can help me there how to install gapps or root?

I have this radio, it was a gift from a friend and I have no idea what is it or what can I do with it.
How do I figure out what model this is ?
Can I install android system on it ?
What is this current system that is installed ?
Can it be upgraded ?
Can I install new applications on this current operating system ?
Can I somehow factory reset this thing ?
Sorry for so many questions, I am just trying to figure out what is this thing capable, what are its specs and what does it offer to me.
If you have patience and know any of these answers, please help a fella out ​

You can't upgrade it, these are Chinese units that come with locked firmware.If it was Android system you could upgrade it this one you can not.

Maybe you are using the wrong firmware.
I don't have a tesla style device, I can only suggest you to dig up more information and discuss further on the thread link I provided above.
