After 2. more updates, the screen does not show the time after tapping. It only reacts to tilting. Both in Beta and stable version !?
Does anyone have the same problems?
There was never a beta version. You are in the wrong forum. This is specifically for the T-Mobile 7T Pro 5G Mclaren (HD1925). If you have a global 7T Pro Mclaren (without 5G), simply visit the regular 7T or 7T Pro forums as the only difference is the look. The T-mobile 5G version is a completely different animal.

The difference is the T-Mobile 7T Pro Mclaren has the X55 5G modem. You cannot convert the T-Mobile to global, as they are not the same hardware.

Is it able to root.
if someone tried it what issues would they run into?
I am living in a region which only got n77 for 5G network
Just wondering can it be done via pc software editing or something like the volte method.
Its brother find x2 pro comes with n77 by default, but it is not officially available on onelpus 8 pro.
I'm trying to find out about unlocking bands using regional firmware but even Oneplus aren't giving me a straight forward answer on this
I brought oneplus 8t 5g from India to Bangkok. operator in Thailand(AIS) uses N41 Band and in India N78... Here 5g is not working, what can i do to make it work.. kindly help
My 8 pro in my (network) country does not have 5g. (I have a new 5g SIM)
I talk to OnePlus tech and they say that it will be solved in future updates.
It will be faster if each one of you talk to Oneplus tech and they see that many people need more 5g bands.

Is it possible to flash oxygen 11 on this device
Doesn't seem like it. The issue as far as I can tell is that this particular model was T-Mobile specific, and 90% of the development from OnePlus is pointed towards the International/Generic version of the OnePlus 7T Pro. The Generic OnePlus 7T Pro doesn't support 5G, but our McLaren edition phones have more Memory, and supports 5G. I think our issue is we're bound by T-Mobile deciding which firmware to pickup from OnePlus, to test with their "QA" department, and then to release to us. OnePlus is fast, T-Mobile... not so much.
I think eventually we'll get it, but T-Mobile needs to load all their bloatware onto it first and then spend 6 months QA testing it, blah blah only to release it with bugs all the while OnePlus has released 2 or 3 updates since then.
That said... our best bet is the small handful of 3rd party developers who are working on this phone, releasing some kind of AOSP based ROM for this phone.
It's already confirmed that we are getting A11. I believe we will also get A12.
The reason there is no "global" or non-T-Mobile ROM available from 1+ for this device is that it was ONLY sold in the US, ONLY sold by T-Mobile, and is the ONLY 7T or 7T Pro variant worldwide with the X55 modem. They were able to get the global ROM on the T-Mobile OP7 because it's modem (and the rest of it's hardware) is the same as the global variants.
Could someone please help with the question in the title and a few more questions?
Does it make sense to use a 7T Pro 5G McLaren for ROMs and modding or would a 7 pro have better support for the years to come?
Does the 7T Pro 5G McLaren requiring separate ROMs from T-Mobile make it worse for modding?
If given the choice between a 7 Pro and 7T Pro 5G McLaren which would you choose? One has better specs, but one seems easier to
