Thats the best rom ive ever used on my riva, i have no bugs so far and thats also the only one that doesnt gives me the cracking sound, my wifi works perfecly while the phone is with screen turned off and this is great too ( i do use whatsapp web and with other roms as far as i let the phone on the table and the screen goes off the wifi stops and it gives me headache, with this one the problem does not occurs) !
Keep it like this please! love ya! Thats freaking GOOD. Congrats
Very smooth & blazing fast ROM happy to use as a primary

It's easy to be fixed.
Hey. The firmware is good, but there are a few questions.
1. When will the update come out with the correction of the internal system error after each reboot of the phone, or after taking screenshots?
2. And when fix the need to choose a sim for the Internet after each reboot?
3. How to make the indicator work on custom kernels?
4. How to make the screen brightness below 50% change as on older versions of android?
5. Add OTA updates like on android 7 and 8.
6. Bold and oblique fonts in the settings of the clock in the status bar are confused. When you select a bold font, the watch has an oblique font, and when you select an oblique font, they become bold. Most of the clock fonts do not work. Hours remain standard.
7. Add customization of clock on lockscreen: select font style and size of numbers.
FIX for SIM choose after reboot
Install this archive from TWRP and reboot your phone in system. Works in ALL PIE ROMS
I am using for 2days osm ROM but what about updates weekly or monthly
1. Please, change boot animation.
2. Add lockscreen and statusbar clock font and size customization.
3. Add network indicator without speed and bluetooth charging level indicator in statusbar.
4. Add QS tiles rows/columns customization.
5. Notification indicator not working in all kernels
Does this ROM comes with speed indicator and other customization

Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.

Before asking some screenshots or complain about some or some stuffs, could you start with a simple "Hi dev, thanks for your work" ?
Is it too hard ?

Yes. First you have to install any treble supported recovery (use orangefox or official twrp 3.2.3-1) and then clean flash RR Pie. Also recommended to flash the latest firmware v046 [No need to wipe internal storage]

Ciz all pie ROMs are treble, so u have to use treble recovery like orangefox, or redwolf recovery,

I already install Official TWRP 3.2.3-1, still using RR Nougat, and latest firmware.
Can I just clean install and flash RR Pie or should I change TWRP to treble first?

After having made a dirty flash and also a clean flash with version 5.2, the reboot gives the same result : I can't introduce my pin code.
Has someone an idea ?
For the moment, I returned to version 5.1.3.

Theme issue
Hello Sohit5s.
Do You know if there will be an update to solve the Theme issue of dotOS 5.2 ?
I found this on Xda :
.
It seems to be an alpha version of a rom Anfroid 12 for the Lenovo P2.
I installed it to try (clean flash and Android 12 Gapps) but I get a bootloop when rebooting after flashing.
Maybe it's a little too early.

The ota update screen looks beautiful. but somehow it doesnt work for me. i get always "corrupted system " sceen when i reboot my phone after ota has been installed.
Mic issue finally resolved? I can see one line in changelog about mic improvements but does it mean it has been completely fixed or still has minor issues?
Sorry to bother with such questions but it is quite a long process to change ROMs on this device without any custom recovery so it is better to be sure first.

I don't know if it's fixed or not because I don't use this device as main phone. Its just a device to flash roms and play a bit.
Flashing this rom takes 8 mins max. Dunno why you say it's a long process.

It is a long process for those who use NP1 as primary device with all the work related data also being present on the phone. We have to backup all the data first and then reinstall the apps and everything.
So flashing the ROM might take 8 mins but the preparation before flashing and processes after flashing can take a good amount of time.

As per my limited knowledge, if there's a proper custom recovery available, it's easy to switch ROMs without losing data. Just stay decrypted and you're good to go.
I don't know any method to change ROMs on NP1 without losing data. I hope this makes sense now as my mention of lack of custom recovery was still relevant to time consumed for data backup and restore while switching ROMs.
Which differences between Superior and RiceDroid custom ROM, thanks
