XT1225 QCN Backup File Needed for a Test

Hello guys,
I need help, comments, (or maybe a .qcn backup file) that can give me information about the possibility enabling LTE Band 5 (850mhz) on XT1254.
First,
Based on THIS THREAD on Verizon LG G3 VS985, some people are able to enable LTE Band 5 on their device by restoring the .qcn backup file from LG G3 D850.
Second,
I see the similarity between XT1225 and XT1254, though they are different on network frequencies
What's on my mind,
Is it possible for XT1254 to get LTE Band 5 by restoring the XT1225 NV Backup file (.qcn) using QPST? I hope you guys can understand clearly what I'm trying to do here. It would be better if someone can help me integrate Band 5 to XT1254 default RFNV file. What do you think, please share your thoughts
I read @ChazzMatt mention that qcn file has IMEI information hence it would be difficult to find someone who would share that file.
However, if someone who owns a XT1225 could do a hex comapre of the qcn file from 1225 and 1254 maybe we can know which bits to set to enable the band.
Not sure if this makes sense, just talking out loud.
Links like this mention to remove your IMEI from QCN before sharing the file, but these guys are experts who know how to edit such files.
I'd be afraid I left mine in somewhere.
I messed around with QPST and QXMD over a year ago and I'm far from an expert.

This article below explains more about QCN files.

After you backed up your Snapdragon’s QCN, DON’T fear and bricks, lost imei’s, corrupt baseband’s anymore. You have all you need to restore those in case of any accident.

Need MODEM files for Nougat with VoLTE support

Updato S8 firmware issue. Same firmware for different carrier firmware

As the title says, I download G950U1 firmware from update.com for XAA/XAC carrier (unlocked carrier). But then I noticed some sprint related system hidden apps in apps settings. So, I decided to download T-Mobile G950U1 firmware. But I was surprised to know both download files were same. I thought it might be the name which is same, So, in order to verify I checked the MD5 of both files and they were same as well.
Here are the links for both firmwares.
T-Mobile

XAA
https://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?record=581DBD798CD211E89F15FA163EE8F90B
As you can see links for download page are different but if you keep cursor on download button for a few seconds and then copy actuall download links then they are same on both pages (Not sure if this is case with all G950U1 firmwares)
T-Mobile

XAA

Does anyone know why is so? And I wanted to cross flash from G950w to G950U1 to get rid of carrier bloat and useless apps permanently, that's why I downloaded these firmware. Currently I'm running that mentioned firmware.
This won't help your issue at all but I have an unlocked S8 with the unlocked firmware on ATT and can't get VoLTE, WI-FI Calling, etc. so check to make sure you can get those on unlocked firmware on your carriers network if they're important to you.

Need H918 (and other versions') mcfg_sw.mbn file for US VoLTE on H990DS

I recently found out that the mcfg_sw.mbn file somewhere in /firmware/image/modem_pr/mcfg/configs/mcfg_sw may potentially contain modem config options that could enable VoLTE on this phone for US carriers, like T-Mobile US for me. I need the file, preferably from someone with an H918 (since this version supports T-Mobile VoLTE and can connect to band 12, which requires VoLTE to be working). What I want to do is use part of this guide to enable MCFG Buffet and point it to the H918 mcfg_sw.mbn file. So far I am using a "tmo" file I found in that general location under "na" in the mcfg_sw directory, but IMS doesn't connect. Any general help would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

A205YN Carrier Unlock

I bought a carrier locked A205YN to Telstra by accident and decided to take it up as a project to try and unlock it before using it as a daily phone. So I've been playing with it for a few months learning as I go.
I have been able to change it's Firmware from TLP to XSA. Telstra to Unbranded. But the firmware is the same, so it didn't change the lock.
I rooted the phone and edited the files
/efs/imei/mps_code.dat
/efs/imei/omcnw_code.dat
contents of both files from TLP to XSA. Then I did a factory reset.
It's CSC info changed from
TLP/TLP/TLP
to
XSA/XSA/TLP
How do I change the 3rd CSC Carrier field? I'm hoping this will unlock the phone? I have an unlocked A205YN with XSA/XSA/XSA, so I can get any files from that one and copy them to this device. Does anyone know the location of these config files?
Also if I flash the modem (CP or Core Processor) from a non Australian firmware such as A205F Europe, will this work? Odin won't let me do it, probably because the model numbers don't match. But I'm pretty sure the phone is actually the same and the model number is just a region lock equivelent. Is there a modified Odin that will let me do it or do I need to change the file name or files contents?
Hello,
Did you find a way to unlock your phone? I have an A205YN region locked (although I bought it unlocked in Australia, it keeps saying its locked in BRazil).
If you did, please share your learning with me.
Thanks in advance,
Allisson

Most phones have an inbuilt unlock app. Metro has a limit of 6 months for prepaid phones and a monetary limit of a $100 before it can be unlocked.
