Hi,
Just out of no reason, bricked this Cloudnetgo CR 13 android TV box.
RK3288 2GB/16GB foresee emmc
Normally, when powered on,the power light is red and after pressing power button,it'll be blue and boot Android.
Now the power light is red and after pressing the power button, the light goes off and the TV screen is dark, nothing.
Thought it would be easy to debrick with Android tool, holding reset while power on,Android tool shall find the device like before.
Now this time no luck,nothing.
So open the box, trying short pin the NAND method, this is a 16GB,brand is FORESEE.
Just like the one for this tablet,he did it successfully, short pin 8&9,nothing,also tried 6&7,7&8 and the pins on the right side to no avail.
other pins tried also
I just want to hook up a USB-ttl cable to see the bootlog, but can't seem to find them.Only find the USB GND DM DC 5V.
Maybe hardware error? The PMU is Active 8846qm,it's hot,I heard it's normal to be 65 dedrees celcius?
I got a multimeter,how to check?
Any ideas?
Many thanks.

It show a green light when connected for charging.
One more thing is that when I connect to the computer, It shows some error USB Notification - "USB Device not recognized".
I have seen a few things about taking the nook apart, I think it would be my last resort. I don't replacement is viable option as I got it shipped to India.
Hoping some one would help me out.
It seems that the charging system/battery has gotten out of whack.
Usually people open the case, disconnect then reconnect the battery.
It could be that the battery is bad too.
It's good that it shows something when plugged into the USB.
What exactly is the unrecognized USB device PID/VID?
Replacement
I thought of taking it apart but it has break seal on the screw. Didn't wanna void warranty .
Thank you for the help ! I just found someone to take it back to the States. B&N will replace the device.

Got the package with small toolkit to open phone and change this thing by myself.
I've followed instructions from one of many youtube DIY movies.
New parts got installed, everything went pretty well... then closed phone. Turned On... and here I em...
Power button doesnt work, I see no light around the power button, no screen reaction... But I hear that phone turned on because of LG logon sound. Phone reacts while pluged in to charger, USB->PC too.
Attached picture with exact conectors I plugged off while changing parts inside.
Why power button doesnt light up? Why doesnt work? Is there some small connector between power button and the board, because I dont see any, there is a Toshiba Chip just beneath the power button/volume part.
Please help me, give me some advices what exactly could get wrong.

4. HP Slate 7 Extreme not charging?
Try holding power, volume UP, and volume DOWN all pressed at the same time for about 20 seconds (or until you see a menu appear). If you get the menu, navigate using the volume rocker switch then select "Reboot". See if the tablet starts normally.
Also, if you have another micro-USB cable handy, try using it with the charger that came with the Slate7. It's possible the original cable may have been damaged. Do not use a cell phone charger as they are not capable of supplying enough "juice" for the Slate7.
5. Does HP Slate 7 Extreme have OTG Support?
Yes.

Edit: Sent the unit back for repair.
Hi guys, so i had my car sitting for 2 month so i charged the battery. After that was done the car was working fine but the radio showd a message that it tryed to start 3 times os something like that and never booted again.
There is power consumption 0.4Ah as soon as the yellow wire is connected but nothing changes when i connect the red.
I can see a red led blinking on the coreboard, and i tested firmware upgrade with sd card and the consumption doubled to 0.8Ah.
Joying support after watching my video told me i didn't know how to conect a radio, told me to open the unit and later
to pay for a new screen and send mine after it works.

I found a guy with the same screen model and my screen was ok after all.
So i have a problem with the mainboard or the coreboard.
Is the unit always on sleep because the red wire does not transmit the wake up signal or is the coreboard dead?

Thanks :good:
Hello, everyone.
I have something like the one in the picture.
I wanted to do an upgrade and .... bricked - only black screen.
I read about the TEST POINT method. I found this point on my board and. what next? I've read that I have to short it with GND - but for how long? with power on or not? if I short it with GND, can it be from power supply or some other on the board?
Can someone of you show me how exactly I should do it?
Thank you for any suggestions.
