i just bought an sm-g9287 from taiwan. all works great here in Austria on Network "Drei AT" Except HD Voice Calls.
is there any way to activate AMR WB in a service menu ? i also try to flash the latest official rom for Hongkong Customers but without any effect.

M using 2017U model and my carrier support the VoLTE and video calling over network.
I tried *#*#4636#*#* and enabled video calling but it dosent work and everytime it automatically switches off.
Is there any other way to enable video calling on my A2017U model without 3rd party apps?
I am using Jio sim if there are any Indian users who know how to do this.

Are any of you on stock firmware able to confirm whether it's possible to record calls that are made over wi-fi?
I've brought the S8 phone apps over to the S7 and enabled call recording in my others.csc, but as I didn't use this before I'm unsure of what the expected behaviour is. Can record calls made over 3G, 4G etc with no issues.

Since Pie removes the ability to use third party call recording, I was toying with the idea of flashing with a CSC that has native recording.
What CSC has native call recording, that are not part of a Multi-CSC?
On Galaxy S9, ILO which is part of OXM has native call recording. I would guess it is the same for the S8 as well.
I would love to know how to change the CSC in a mutli CSC device.

On my multi CSC I worked have to flash unlocked firmware u1 model or insert that carriers sim. Mine auto selects the CSC upon sim insertion
correct me if I am wrong, but I think changing CSC will affect which frequency bands are active, which degrade data and phone service.
can anyone confirm this?
