Is my stock H910 truly a brick now? - LG V20 Questions & Answers

TL;DR it's bootlooping, and I can't enter download mode.
My V20 H910 hasn't been touched for a couple years now. It started bootlooping years ago, and it's only now that I'm trying so hard to fix it. When I try to boot it, I get the LG screen for a few seconds, then it goes all black, and then it repeats until I pull the battery.
I can navigate to the screen to initiate a factory reset, but when I confirm, it freezes up for a moment and then goes back to the boot loop.
When I plug it in to initiate download mode, I get the screen that says it's trying to start download mode for a couple seconds, and then it goes back to the boot loop. I tried launching LGUP during this two second period, and unsurprisingly, it does not see the phone.
I've tried putting it in the freezer, and I've tried using a different battery. I tried "discharging the capacitors on the motherboard" by removing the battery and pressing the power button fifteen times. This causes it to vibrate briefly when I attempt to power it on, but then it bootloops as normal.
It's totally stock Oreo - no root, no custom ROMs, no TWRP, no unlocked bootloader. I might have enabled USB debugging, but that doesn't do me much good when it won't boot (yes, I tried ADB anyways, and no, it doesn't see it).
I did use third party USB cables to charge it back when it worked, so I am aware that this may just be a faulty motherboard. But I'm hoping there's another option I haven't pursued yet.
What do you think? Is it a brick? I've spent all day searching for potential fixes, so any help is appreciated!

Random reboots and won't power off.

So here's the story.
I have a Note 3 I acquired that was in pretty rough shape. According to the person that gave it to me, they had tried to flash a rom that was unstable and crashed the device causing a boot loop he couldn't recover from. So he reported it lost and got a new one.
The first thing I tried was installing stock firmware using odin. This at least allowed the phone to fully boot up. But, it would still restart after about 10 mins of usage. The next thing I tried was flashing TWRP on to the phone and doing a complete wipe of the phone. Then I flashed the stock firmware using odin.
This has brought the phone more or less back to a usable state. However, there are new problems.
The phone reboots at random. Usually after being on for an hour or longer. Also, the phone won't power down. When I long press the power button and select power off, the screen shows that it's powering down. The phone stays on the power down screen for about 2 mins then the phone reboots.
I've tried a factory reset and reflashing the stock firmware.

[Q] Verizon LG G2 (VS980) Security Error Bootloop

I have a VS980 and I have an issue where I cannot get it to do anything. I spent all kinds of time looking through forum after forum to find an answer. Nothing has helped. The problem:
I try to get into Download Mode and I get the LG Security Error message and reboots and repeats. I plug in the USB cable without touching any buttons it powers up and loops. Going into recovery only gets me to the LG Rooted Hard Reset and nothing else.
I am at a loss as to what to do now. I see there are threads that say that it is easy to get the Security Error fixed but it requires the LG Support Tool but that tool does not recognize my phone cause it is constantly booting. Other threads tell me to get it into download mode but I get the security error and reboots. I can no longer get into fastboot. And I don't have a custom recovery that I can get into it seems.
I can power the phone off by holding down the power key and letting it reboot a couple of times and it turns off. Nothing else seems to work.
Any ideas?

Probably bricked LG G2 running SlimSaber

So basically this rom is awesome but it had only one problem. When I plugged my phone in the charger while it was turned off, it bootlooped until I restarted with the cable off. It was no big deal and nothing bad ever came out of it.
Yesterday my batter ran out while I was asleep and when I woke up it was already turned off. I, absentmindly, tried to turn it on, LG Logo, off again. Did it one more time, nothing happened, realized it's out of battery. Plugged in charger, try to turn it off/on, usual bootloop happens. Say ok and proceed with what I always did, phone gets past LG Logo, goes into SlimLP boot animation and for the first it has just stayed there. No restarts, just endless loading. Longest i Left it on to load was about 45 minutes. Never got back on.
Apart from that, I think that for some reason my recovery got uninstalled somehow, by itself, a few weeks ago. I only noticed this because before, when I wanted to get into recovery, I pressed the usual buttons and it went straight into TWRP. Now the same buttons take me to the "Factory reset screen". I know that everyone says to just go ahead and press power, but I am afraid, since I am not sure if TWRP is still functioning. This happened to me another time on the same phone, and when I confirmed the factory reset, it factory resetted.
My problem here is that I want to get my music and photos. I'm only able to enter that factory reset screen and download mode. Can I "flash" twrp safely from download mode? Should I use Flash Tool 2014 and Normal flash(which says it keeps the data) a stock g2 rom? Can I mount my phone to the computer in download mode to copy my files? I want the most risk-free approach.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, first If you can enter download mode I think you can flash kdz (Kitkat) file to stock using Flash Tool 2014. But I had this problem once and the keep data flashing didn't work (stucked at 50%), I ended up flashed it with other option (erased all data).
2. You can try the "Factory reset" nice and easy.
I think you can't see files on the device unless you enter Twrp.
It's wise to backup your phone on the computer montly or so, thank you.
I went ahead and nuked my download mode using the SRK tools. Then got access to fastboot, through which I booted to twrp and then I could move my files. All's fine, flashed my ROM again and it's going better than ever.

D802 dead, data restore

Hey,
I have D802 16GB with pre-last CM version. Wanted to restart the phone (no mods nor installing apps before, just a normal restart) and the trouble started:
-it was stucking on LG logo and then screen turning off; sometimes it came to CM boot animation followed by turned off screen
-managed to boot the phone in safe mode in order to backup files from the phone, it freezed and turned off. Booted in safe mode few times again, the freeze was coming faster and faster
-once or twice phone booted up normally, freezed very soon
-booted to safe mode couple of more times. I noticed the phone was freezing shortly after releasing the volume buttons.
-booted up in normal mode, was holding the volume up button during the boot. The phone worked normally, after couple of mins released the volume button. Few mins after the phone freezed.
-LG logo was shown few more times out of dozens of attempts with different power button and volume buttons combinations
-LG logo showed for a short moment after pluging the charger
-now nothing happens at all, even when connected to charger or PC. The computer doesn't detect any device.
I really want to get the data that are in internal memory of the phone. What should I do? What happened with my phone?
Found this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/lg-g2-unbrickable-fix-real-hard-brick-t2904404
but will the internal memory data be affected? Moreover, there is written:
12 After attaching buttons plate, check your device going into download mode, and use flash tool to flash stock rom.

Each advice will be much appreciated

Rn7 global died all by itself

The phone rebooted by it self, no firmwareupdate going on, just random reboot.
Got stuck on redmi logo.
Could reboot and get fastboot, but could not flash original fastboot rom, got errors. a normal reboot gave only redmi logo.
Now the phone is out of power, not taking charge, not powering on.
Anyone have any solution for this problem? Or any tips? The phone is stone dead
Not sure if this will help...
here's my random reboot thread and fix
Well, i have no simcards or sd-cards inserted.
And its not charging or turning on. volume up and down + power is not making any results.
The weird thing is that it said "redmi" on the display for about 24 hours draining the power, and after it died out of power i'm unable to do anything with it. its basically a brick.
This happened totally random. just a spontaneous reboot into a never ending redmilogo.
During redmilogo i had the posibility to get it into fastboot by rebooting it, but mi flash would not accept the phone. so another reboot into regular boot ended in infinite redmilogo again :|
Your phone's bootloader unlocked?
Nope
Did you try keeping it charged for a while? Device might not show any sign (charging indication) but the battery will get charged eventually (I guess).
Charge it well and try to SIDELOAD that FASTBOOT IMAGE via PC..
It loooks like its bricked all by itself. i left it in charger for days.
I got contact with the phone with mi flash, but it has gone into some authentication mode with the flashing, so i'm not possible to reflash rom without authorization.
Read about this on reddit, and it seems like a dealer has to look at it.
