Is there anyway to root wiko u307as I got it from one of them government sites like obama phone I don't see nada about rooting them
i know ther is a way as i was unable to unlock bootloader but its been quite a while

Hi, i think a lot of n900 users which are gonna be extremely happy if they can root their N900 without using CF-Root (No offense to Chainfire, he is one the best dev) since it will trip that stupid KNOX warranty bull**** (i would love to use custom kernels and don't even bother to trip the knox, but hey the parts for this phone aint cheap ).
I was thinking of downgrading to an earlier version of kitkat built before June. Then using towelroot to obtain root. Any ideas if it will work?
And yes i've searched the entire web for a way and this is the only possible way i can think of. The N9005 is rooted with the same approach, except instead of downgrading the whole phone, they downgrade the FW, root it using towelroot, and then upgrade to the stock FW.
Since i'm a noob in extracting the FW, on behalf of N900 users, we hope a dev can help. Btw i know most dev's out there need some coffee or beer (willing to donate)

I'm new when i comes to rooting..
All i need to know is.. Is it possible to gain root access with stock rom and stock recovery?
And if so could someone link me to a "how to" guide that confirmes success on rooting with stock rom and stock recovery.. No TWRP.. No custom recovery..
Just plain root access no extra jibber jabber.
Basically i want to have root access without it being easily recognisable if a phone store salesman or technician with basic phone knowledge were to look at the phone.. i want him/her to see a stock Android version on Samsung S8. But still have root access.
This is a European version S8 SM-G950F
I believe that is the Exynos variant.

Hi i just got the u ultra, i need some informations regarding the s-off thing, since I'm totally new to htc phones.
As far as i understood, getting s-off on nougat requires a paying service (like sunshine)...what i dont know is that if i really need it.
I want to flash a custom Rom, with a custom recovery and root access. Do i have to be s-off to achieve this?
Being forced to pay for it, might make me return to phone or not...so it is kind of important.
I will be really grateful to anyone who will help me.

I don't have s-off, only bootloader unlocked (this for free from the HTC website directly I think).
For only custom recovery and cRom (including everything else, e.g. magisk, xposed and so on) that's enough.

Which 930T rom do I need, I had gotten one and it "Auth Failed!" during the flash, now I'm left with "! Use emergency recovery software" brick. Can get back into Odin Download mode, just don't know which rom I need.

Evidently you did not read basics about bootloader prior to starting flash.
Now you can flash back to your original bootloader 6 sprint rom to revive the phone.
You cannot flash your phone to Tmobile rom due to bootloader issues, but you may be able to use sprint phone on Tmobile. network.
His listed version would make it seem like he is on BL V6 - which should be able to be flashed. Or am I wrong?

Well there chief, would you be so kind to point me to the "Basics" about the bootloader, because this site is ****ing terrible for finding stuff. Sorry I'm not going to spend 14 hours combing XDA to find something that's "Basic." No matter what bootloader it is; there should be a way to roll it back, after all it's just a rom chip, even if I need to flash a custom first, there should be a way to do it.

It is BLV6, which apparently doesn't accept any T or U roms, the only rom that works is the stock;

There has to be a way to load a custom bootloader. The answer "It's impossible" is wrong plainly. The solution is to load a custom bootloader that is compatible with the T and U roms, I know this can be done as I've seen it done. I just need a little help finding compatible bootloaders.

You can't flash T-mobile rom on Sprint phone because of bootloader updated by sprint if you bricked your phone with bootloader 6 on it you should flash this to recover your phone.

he has a grand prime sm-g5308w on 4.4.4
i use family link to control what he does but it needs 7.1 to run,
so i am needing to upgrade to 5.1 then to 7.1 ofc and gapps
ive flashed my kindles in the past so i have soem knowledge,
my problem is.. when i go sammobile and type in my modle, i cant select region besides hongkong and china, and i am in the UK? so this wont work right ? the phone works fine at the moment signal/wifi everything, so it cant be a china only mobile and im scared to lock it to china..
can someone help me with what i need to do to get this phone to 7.1?
he cant use the phone until ive done this.
so far ive got odin.... and his phone .... cant find the firmware for UK .
hoping i can get it and flash/root it with odin, take it to 5.1 and 7.1 ggappps it, and supersu
then i can family link and control his phone from mine safely ,
tia for any help
p.s i can skype /facebook call if needed though im sure i can figure it out ad still have some hair

I suggest going for AOSP Extended 4.5 or XenonHD or ViperOS or Resurrection Remix
These are really great 7.1 ROMs
