Does anybody have a 100015685-E stock boot.img file to root with magisk? Is there a way to retrieve stock boot image? My device is ready for an update is there a way of retrieving image from update before applying it?

Anyone know where I can find the location of the OTA?
Also when I flashed it with flash fire it did not take. What's the correct use with flash fire?
the OTA location is /cache/update.zip
The OTA will not flash if the device is rooted(which it needs to flash lol.) because it tries to verify the boot.img is stock(supersu is installed to the boot.img so it isn't stock). I have successfully installed the sprint OTA by manually editing the OTA but it caused issues with not booting right when I didn't have an updated kernel.
hi I have bootloader unlocked and root, I downloaded nougat 7.0 firmware and tried to update manually, but allways error.
someone knows how to do?
You need to unroot first, if you have twrp, you need to flash the stock recovery. Make sure you download the correct one. Z017d. Once done, copy the nougat zip file, go to recovery and flash the zip file
Download stock img and install. Once installed, reboot. Click the volume button once you get to bootloader click recovery. In the stock recovery wipe cache if you want, this is preferred to prevent any issues. Then update via micro sd.
Hello XDA!
I've recently un-rooted my EE S5 (SM-G901F, kccat6) by running the unSU script to install Magisk. However, upon attempting to run the Magisk installer, I get the following error:
! Boot image patched by other programs!
! Please restore stock boot image
I know for a fact that uninstalling SuperSU 'normally' (app's built-in function) restores this file, but at the time, I didn't realise such a feature existed. Where is the stock boot.img held that this function uses, and how do I restore it, considering I have no root access? I still have access to TWRP however.
Thanks
Sam

Hi,
Stock Boot.img is the part of stock rom and contains kernel + ramdisk and is located after flashing in boot partition.
In my opinion the easiest way to recover stock boot.img is jast re-flashing stock kernel (boot.img) of your rom.
