I managed to resolve it. Teyes technical support sent me a file that automatically switches the IMEI. It was very simple and fast. Thanks.

MOD ACTION:
Changing IMEI is illegal and discussions about it are not permitted on XDA. Hence thread closed.

[Q] Galaxy S4 SGH-i337 : RTN or Hidden Menu code ?

I just bought an ATT SGH-i337 ( craigslist) and none of the codes ( ##RTN# etc ) work on it !
I'd like to know if it's new or refurbished, and how used it is....
I also tried using the Launcher Pro method, but I cannot see any com.android.hiddenmenu files !!
Is there ANY way to check this info on stock ATT S4 ?
I have been able to unlock ( fastgsm cable method $14.99 ) and verified with a TMO sim.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!
Thanks :good:

Sorry about that!
So, any insights .... Anybody??
I'm pretty sure the specific ##RTN# dialer code is CDMA specific. What hidden menus are you trying to access?

why do you want to change it
there are ways of doing it,example if you have updated your phone, like i did on my note1,battery died and then the imei changed to devolper mode 0049xxxxxxxxx
then legaly there are ways of getting(recovering) your original imei
if you have a normal imei and want to change it to another imei then this is illegal
why do you want to do it

I think this thread has run its' course

[Q] Some dialer codes disabled?

Hi guys,
Have some of the dialer codes been disabled in Omni / KK ? I wanted to access the service menu *#*#0011#*#* but it didn't work. After completing entry of the code it disappears to suggest it was recognised but nothing happens. I wanted to check the operating band after flashing a new baseband, process is described at android forums here:
HOW TO: Enable 850Mhz 3G Network Frequency on your Samsung i9000 Galaxy S
I have done this prior to Omni & KK so I know the process works.
I checked a few other codes from here:
Samsung Secret Codes + Volume Boosting
Galaxy S II Bible: Complete reference
Of the codes I tried only *#06# for IMEI worked.
Have some of the codes been disabled or removed ? Is there a setting somewhere I haven't stumbled across ?
I'm using the international SGS2 i9100
Thanks,
Michael
Actually, we just never got around to reimplementing them (SamsungServiceMode)
There are some patches on Gerrit to bring SSM back. They should hopefully go live by the end of this weekend.
Yep that will do it ! Thanks for the feedback. No rush I was just curious.

whoops didn't get around to it again... turned out to be a really crappy weekend.
All good, no stress. It sounds like all the more reason to kick back and unwind with a stiff drink rather than stare at lines of code.

May i ask, what modem you're using? I have an SGS 2 with XXMS2, tried some of the codes (*#1234#, *#9900#), but i only get the error message in the attachment.
Translated to english this means: Connection error or invalid MMI code.
Any ideas?
Perhaps I spoke too soon ? I must admit I only tried the service mode codes *#*#197328640#*#* and *#*#0011#*#*. I can't get codes *#1234# or *#9900# to work either but interestingly I don't get an error message like you do, it just doesn't do anything.
I'm using XXMS4 which I *think* is the latest modem for the i9100. Is it possible different modems affect what codes are available ? I had assumed the codes were handled by the ROM/kernel rather than the modem.

I tried now *#*#197328640#*#* and *#*#0011#*#* and those are working for me, too. But not the other two.

Nvram.bin - moto e4 plus
Hello brothers, I wanted to ask you if you could send me a backup of nvram in bin format since my cell phone was without the imei numbers when formatting it with sp flash tools, if you want I can send you my imei numbers so you can make a backup of nvram with my numbers of imei and I do not use theirs, in the same way I will change it when I restore with sp flash tools. Thank you very much, it would be a great favor. Greetings from Argentina.
