Notifications on watch face - Wear OS Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a watch face app can do something like this? If I want to develop one, what should I do? Any sample code I can use?
Thx!

There can be 1 "notification preview" as a complication. I have this on Quoti (Looks Watch Faces for Wear OS).
I'm not sure if a watch face can access all the notifications to show like this though... probably not via complication, unless you "remember" old values that come through.
Accessing notifications directly will need super powers granted by adb or root.

Sony Smartwatch 3 not able to communicate back to phone (phone to watch works)

I've been using a SW3 for about a month without anything strange, but since about 2 days ago an issue happen: the watch can still receive notification from phone (email, fb message,...) that comes to phone still shows up on the watch, with watch vibrations,... I can install new watch face apps on the phone and the watch can receive those faces and set them. But I cannot interact with the notifications using the watch. For example, previously I can just choose "Archive" to archive an email directly from watch:

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now when I tap it, it shows
"Open on phone" is also grayed out:
And in the wifi settings, when choosing opening help on phone, it shows
But I have the phone right next to the watch, with all bluetooth and wifi enabled on both. The phone can continue to push notifications to the watch just fine.
I tried resetting the watch (twice), uninstall update for "Google Play Services" on phone and reupdate, clear data for "Android Wear" app on phone and re-pair the watch but nothing works.
Please help!

Use Your Old Android As A Secondary Monitor

Use Your Old Android As A Secondary Monitor
You know that old HP touchpad was a great tablet but it's just been sitting around for years now. You can't bring yourself to throw it away but what on Earth could you use it for?
Hi, my name Steve Shockmonster and I'm here to tell you how you can turn any old Android tablet into a secondary screen for your computer. By installing an app on both your pc and Android device, you can activate an extended display setup. This will allow you to move your open windows to your tablet by dragging it off screen.There are many practical uses for this feature and almost anyone would be able to take advantage of this.
So what app do you need to get this working? Well I've put together a list that will get you all setup.

i do indeed. that was one of the first things i turned on, but my device still doesnt show as an authorised device
Try this (if you didn't so already):
- restore the watch to factory settings
- on the S7E run the Android Wear app and pair the watch within that app. Don't use the phone Bluetooth app for pairing the watch!

How to make notifications not show mini versions?, see photos

Anyone knows how to make the top notification (ex: spotify) always show in full? I have to drag it down to see the extra buttons, which I didn't have to do on my other phone a lg g6 on oreo also. See attached images for how it shows and when i drag it down a little you see there are more options. Why is it always showing the smaller version of a notification by default? Even other apps like system Do not disturb do this, have to drag down or click the notification to see the button to "turn off"
Edit: it's called expanded notification... I still can't seem to find how to make this topmost notification auto expanded. Its quite dumb that the expanded one takes a few pixels more, why bother shrinking it, samsung??

Temp fix... use another notifications app like this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.treydev.pns&hl=en_US
It lets you set whether to auto expand the first or all notifications... yay.
It's also lighter on memory than others. About 70 MB use according to dev options running services.

Mystery shortcut (or accidental feature) on my G4 Plus

Here's a nagging Android riddle I'd like to understand just out of curiosity, as opposed to researching an 'issue' that needs to be resolved. We all have better things to do (laundry, pull weeds, floss) than to make a case out of this post.
I'll ask anyway.
In my graphic the shortcut on the left shows normal behavior from the Settings widget in Oreo. The shortcut on the right, however, just showed up on the home screen out of nowhere. I'm clueless about how it got there and why it has color. Is anybody familiar with this?

I think it's a spyware from mobile-tracker-free.com . Coz I used it before and it comes as the name of WiFi in the settings to avoid attention of the user.

It's not spyware. But mystery solved. The peculiar green shortcut is an Oreo feature.
In my case it showed up by accident. Here's how it's done on purpose:
Long-press the Settings app icon until a pop-up box appears with a short list of widget items that can be dragged to the home screen. In my case there are only 3 options -- battery, data usage and wi-fi.
There are similar effects by long-pressing other apps like Gmail and Messages.
