Hi All, I recently got Joying Android 10 Headunit and having issues with Date and Time. If i restart the Head Unit the date and time goes to default and stays like this, if I turn on Use Network Provided then it only corrects it when connected to internet. Anyone know why it’s happening?

Try to first set it correct manually while connected. Once set corrected set it to automatic and network provided. Then it should stay correct.
Otherwise it is ineed like you say. It will use it's own (uncorrected) time when not connected, and use the network time when connected.

Hey all,
My old phone (an infuse 4g) would automatically connect to my car radio when I started the car. My s4 needs to be manually connected every time.
Is there some setting I'm missing?
Thanks
I use A2DP Volume on my SIII since it doesn't auto connect, works great and is very lightweight
It should auto connect after successful pairing. I just paired mine this morning so I will check and see if it connects automatically next time around.

I set up blue tooth in my car right after getting the phone today - (at lunch) went back to work - started the car and blue tooth connected automatically - just like it always did on my Note 2 - no issues - no special configurations.
If it didn't work for you - maybe your settings cleared somehow after you configured yours - that didn't happen often on my note two - but it did on rare occassions...good luck - if you continue to have issues, might be a problem with either your phone or your car - hope it works out....
Nope, no autoconnect. Tried repairing this morning. What a pain... I'll probably get an NFC tag for my car as a fix, but this kinda sucks. I'm going to try some other bluetooth devices to make sure there's nothing wrong with the phone...
I've searched around, looks like some people had this problem with the sIII
So if i turn bluetooth off and then on again, i get a popup "connect" menu. (i'd rather it just connect to whatever's around, like my infuse 4g did) I wonder if this is related?
I believe that is the standard behavior. If I don't touch that popup it goes away and my phone still auto connects as expected.

Got home, tried it with my nokia bluetooth headset, and i get the same behavior. going to the at&t store tonight to see what they say.
Why dont you guys just do a factory restore instead of going to AT&T? What are they gonna do?
I actually did factory restore. it didn't help.
Turns out the "visible" checkbox needs to be checked for the thing to autoconnect. wierd. it all works now....nevermind.
I don't have that box checked. Although I bet that could depend on the device you're paired to.

Hi guys,
as the title suggests I'm after a solution that allows me to move from a 3G connection to a Wi-Fi connection easily, perhaps through a widget or even a separate app.
Currently, I have a Telstra 3G modem connected to my Eonon GA2167 Head Unit (Allwinner T8 - rooted thanks to @****-jones) and when I arrive home and am within range of my Wi-Fi hotspot I'd like to have the head unit begin updating apps, and downloading new songs off Spotify. I thought it would be as simple as selecting the Wi-Fi network to connect to again, but my head unit stops me from connecting and I have to physically unplug the modem everytime I want this to happen.
So, is there a solution out there that enables me to switch easily? Also as an added bonus, is there something out there that can monitor my data usage on 3G only? I'm not really sure how the head unit treats my modem, but when it's plugged in I see an icon similar to this: "<-->"
Any help would be appreciated!!
Dear all,
I've an Android device XTRONS (px5) in my car.
It is fully functional and gets his WIFI from an external WIFI-USB-Stick.
I don't know why, but WIFI turns off after a while. Sometimes after hours, sometimes after minutes,... I checked the settings "never turn WiFi off" for saving energy and also I've installed some apps who should activate WiFi automatic, but there is no change. It keeps OFF and a have to activate manually...
My question is, is there a possibility to ALWAYS ON WiFi? maybe writing something into android or something?
The device is just on when car is on, so i do not have to save the power for WiFi at all.
Please help me solving this confusing problem. Especially for driving with Navigation app or Spotify this makes me so crazy
Best regards and thanks in advance
Sven

Which WiFi chip do your units have? The MD725?
If you use FCC launcher there is an option to enable WiFi on boot. There is also a WiFi widget I believe so you can turn it on very easily from your home screen.
This happens only recently.
I connect hu on internet through mobile hotspot, but "regular" hotspot too. Unit is connected but youtube, google play dont work.
Dont have slightless clue why?...

Try this: Go to Date & Time settings, turn off Automatic Date and Time, turn it on again.
Recently I experienced this as well out of nowhere. My HU uses Intel Sofia 3RG cpu.
Hm, i was dealing with time and date at that time, i ll try it and report with results.
Thank you.
Actually, it worked, t hank you
Today, when i was trying to fix that, i turned it off, but did not turn it on again.
So today I installed my new Eonon GA2185. I was hoping it would be able to tether my phone's internet on bluetooth automatically, without ever having to manually activate bluetooth or hotspot or something like that. It's a mythical function. Some say it's impossible, you'll always have to click at least one button to connect your head unit to the interwebs, some say it's a built in function.
When turning on the radio for the first time and connecting it to my phone's bluetooth I was so desperately hoping it would also borrow its internet, and apparantly it did! There was no wifi network, just bluetooth and I managed to visit some webpages and perform a speedtest (< 1Mb/s, but hey it was something!).
Unfortunately, after customising the unit with all my preferences, apps, accounts and appearances, I lost the bluetooth tethering. It simply stopped working. It only works on wifi now. Anyone know how to get it back or enable it in the first place? I've already reset it to factory settings but that didn't do it.
This unit works on bluetooth 4.0. Does the difference between 4 and 5 matter a lot in this aspect?

Ive got the same problem, I have the same unit as you.
I had it working when I first installed the unit, it just came on automatically when I entered the car. But since a firmware upgrade I cant get it to connect anymore! It was great for Spotify and maps.
If you manage to find a way let me know!
I believe I factory reseted everything again after updating. Then I tried connecting bluetooth first and then WiFi. For some reason that worked (after I rebooted the device, it would turn on wifi but my phone's wasn't broadcasting, and then it automatically switched to bluetooth).
I also noticed that whenever the unit was powered on, an extra setting in my iPhone appeared called 'Ethernet', which apparanly means that it's tethering through bluetooth. Not sure if Android has a similar way of showing.
