Hello Guys. I read many thread for root to mi A1 but have different ways. Normal root dont work ?. So Flash Twrp and Flash Magisk ? I read bootlooder unlocking to cause wiping data. Anyone help me ?
There are 2 ways how to proceed (patched boot.img or temporarily booting twrp) - as you read about both of them, you can choose whichever one you like more (follow particular guide accordingly). This is "normal rooting", not sure what is "normal" for you

Hi, I am not sure why they didn't work. Probably due to locked bootloader.
It's better if you unlock your bootloader (wil format internal storage), install a custom recovery (TWRP) and flash magisk.

We are known Redmi 7A used asr 32-bit , maybe that's why it's difficult to ROOT it? On the Xiaomi website , I can not find a Developement Developer ROM of the Redmi 7A. if have then I can flash it to get Root privilage. I have tried genneral way to root it , but all failed.
firstly , my Redmi 7A is unlock (bootloader) and I have flashed TWRP (WRP-3.3.1-1003-REDMI7A-CN-wzsx150.img) and Global ROM 10.2.5 (download from https://mirom.ezbox.idv.tw/en/phone/pine/roms-global-stable/#info_18104 )， then installed Magisk manager. then I use patched boot.img method, or I flash magisk use install zip from TWRP method , the phone can boot normally, but magisk manager claims that magisk is not installed. yes, my problem is the same as this post https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-7a/help/unable-to-root-redmi-7a-miui-11-0-6-t4011525

Add-on-su on mokee open source ROM works fine, can enable root from developer options only, magisk and supersu don't work.
I have been trying to make them work but it seems impossible, I have looked in system/xbin and found no su files, maybe the problem is in the meta-INF because it doesn't properly know where to install it.
Hello guys, i normally don't have to ask questions in here, because there are so many good tutorials and hekp in here. But now i am stuck.
I use a OP6T with TWRP and unlocked BL and root. I use Magik and updated to the newest Magisk version, but now i am stuck in the fastbootmode
Bootloader Sersion and Baseband Version are empty in the fastboot screen. I can't use TWRP, i can't use the stock recovery mode, i only can turn off and or reboot into fastboot.
Does anybody have an idea to get this thing working again without wiping everything?
