Strange 'wrinkle' on metallic border of the phone - Samsung Galaxy S10+ Questions & Answers

Hi guys
I just bought a new S10+, and unboxed the phone to find this strange 'wrinkle' on the left metallic border of the phone.
Doesn't feel normal, so thought I ask if any of you have the same issue on your phones.

Is it the protective film that goes on top of the bezel when new?
Can you remove it with your finger nail?
If not...
If wedge between the bezel/screen it may allow water entry.

Nah, my phone didn't come with protective layer.
Was told by seller it's new, but likely to be a refurbished set.
Have since gone back to the store to get a replacement. Got another refurbished set again but in way better condition and battery health, so can't complain for now

Cracked screen and a bad replacement

So I ordered a replacement screen finally, as i have been with a cracked screen for awhile now. New screen came in and i begin to disassemble my phone, and remove the old screen no problem. I get to install the new one, and fit it in, its a little tight and I put a slight amount of pressure and the new one cracks in the corner. I was pretty pissed. So I then noticed that there is no gap at all between the digitizer and the hole for the optical joystick.
It was a screen from Chuanbo Zhang on amazon, which has plenty of reviews.

Did i just get a badly made screen? or is this normal for most screens or is there some version of the Droid Inc that has no gap between those parts?
Should I still try and repair this phone after ive had it for so long? Or is it time to retire and go for something new.

Mechanical faults on my Vivo Tab

My TF810c was send for repair yesterday, but I was already told in the shop that one issue is my fault and it will not be fixed.
Considering how much TF810 cots in Poland I will not let go (especially that I know it is devices fault not my inattention.
So...
1. Seal on the hinge (the one between hinge and docking station is all ripped and pushed down by edge of docking station. Not nice as there is glue left inside and on the edge of keyboard.
More and more dirt get in.

2. Frame of the screen just broke (above place where all materials plastic and aluminium meet). It is not chipped (as after hitting something), just split.

Any one with similar issues?

[Q] Open place ?

My phone came like 2 weeks ago from warranty ı paid 520 try (200$) for them to change screen-charging circuit-motherboard because phone was water damaged so they didn't cover it up but anyways ı just realized that this time there is a piece missing i don't know if it's normal or another revision or something so i'm asking is it bad that place is open or will it affect the water resistance

I don't have the marked place's cover (round thingy) that place is open there is a round bronze thing inside there
Sorry for my bad English
It's still inside the water seal so I guess it's safe. But I'm alot more worried on the sealing capabilities on the other parts of the phone like on the screen.
I had my sony xperia z1 compact before that's water proof and been using it underwater everytime for more than a year. Then I had it replace it's battery and after it returned to me the waterproofing is gone. Good thing the rice trick worked though...

What could these marks on the screen be?

What do you think these marks on the screen are? I thought they where just smudges under the screen protector but after pulling it up and trying to clean them off, they are still there. The screen is fine, nothing crazy going on there. This screen is a third party screen though. Maybe it's the glass separating from the digitizer? I've had the phone for over two years now so it might be time for a replacement.
In between the Lcd and the digitizer (touch screen) is a clear adhesive called LOCA (liquid optically clear adhesive) and under stress (heat, water, preasure) it starts to break down and create bubbles. Don't try to fix it. It will only get worse until you replace the screen entirely.
Dang, that's unfortunate to hear. I was hoping it would have been a easy fix. I've replaced the screen twice and don't think I am really up to replace it again. Seems this phone will go away soon after the summer then.

Silver 6P Glossy Edge Durability

Hello,
As the title says I am wondering how does the silver glossy edge holds up? I am careful with my phones as I just can't stand scratches.
I just got my phone (It's still in the box) and I am in the phase of deciding what case to get for it..
I was going to get black one, as is not glossy on the edges - more mat. But I got a supers sweet deal on the silver one - sealed, so I didn't think twice..
So, now I need to know how does that aluminium edge holds on.. If its fairly durable, I'll keep it, otherwise I'd rather sell it, and buy the black version.
Just so you know what edge do I mean:

Any pics from users who are using the phone for some time, will be really helpful..
Also any thoughts on black vs silver version.
Thanks!
