The only way to remove the icons from the locks creen is just turning off locks creen notifications.
Settings>Lockscreen> Notifications (on lockscreen) turn it off.
Now when you have the voice recorder, it won't show while the phone is locked.
Not sure if there is a third party app to fine tune Notifications more.

Hello my friends the problem that i have is that i don't know how to stop those annoyance notifications popup when you get an sms or email....i would like to hear them and then just see them on the tabs is there any trick or registry hack??? I hope you understand what i mean......And the other thing is that is there any way when i use s2u2 or whatever lock appl. not to lock the hardware keys so i dont have to push all the time the on button on the top??? You know in the diamond it was an appl in settings called keys lock and you could choose not to be locked in HD there isnt WHY???
Did you change the settings under Personal, Sounds & Notifications? There on the Notifications tab you can set the notifications to just alert you audibly rather than visually.

Hello
I'm running Android 4.2.2 and my phone is rooted. I'm currently using full!screen+ (paid version). Whenever I receive a phone call, a window pops-down from the notification bar (see screenshot attachment). Ignore the big red mark that I accidentally made in QuickNote when capturing screenshot.
Regardless of whether I answer or decline the call, the notification window stays there and does not go away. In fact, it sits on top of any window/app I open so I can't see anything behind it.
This notification window comes up only when I'm receiving a call while another app is open (eg Gmail). If I'm on my home screen, the regular phone dialer window comes up instead of the notification window. I'm thinking it might be because of fullscreen app, but I haven't had a chance to test it after uninstalling the app yet.
Anyone else have this issue?
Try disabling incoming call pop-up in phone settings.

Awesome. Thanks!
Can it possible to get messages and camera shows on Quick window????
Help any one ????
But in settings when i press " help " it say...... But in options i dont see them ??
yes, it is possible to receive/reject calls while the quick cover is on.
in the quickcover menu i have only clock, weather and music (not the call logs).
with the latest update, the volume down longpress to quick activate the camera
also works (it did not work on JB) -- that is very cool actually, i missed that.
the latest update also "locks" the quickcover screen and needs to be swiped
to unlock.
overall, i am very happy with my quick cover (Roar).
So I'm coming from a pixel where I would get my app notifications to wake and show on my lock screen. When I get an email for example, I get the sound and mynlight will blink but my screen doesn't wake up and show anything til I press the power button.
How can I get them to show without having to press the power button??
Yes, I'd like to know how to do this too! Any ideas anyone?
Currently, the best I can see is that my 'always on screen' will show a small icon to indicate there's a new notification (an email icon for example). Though it does not flash or light up. The icon just displays very discreetly so really you have to look for it. I then need to tap the home button, which reveals the 'pin entry screen'... on this screen I tap the 'back' arrow which displays the full notification. So its two tap to reveal notifications without unlocking the phone.
What I really want is to see notifications flash up on my lock screen before I choose to swipe open the app (using PIN etc). For that reason, face recognition also isn't great as the phone opens past the notifications screen the moment you look at it!
Have just moved from an iphone. currently this is the only real con, otherwise amazing upgrade!
Did anyone figure this out?

It isn't probably answering your question, but might help. I don't know if you have set a setting under: settings>display>navigation bar and then check out "unlock with home button", it will at least not require you to press power button, but just a home button. I just press home button and it shows my lock screen and any notifications I may have.
1) So when you set unlock with home button to ON, then your phone will go straight to home screen(if phone isn't locked with a code) when you press this home button.
2) If you turn off that feature, then, when you press home button, then your phone will show lock screen first regardless if your phone is locked or unlocked.
Hi,
I'd also like to have my s8 screen to wake upon receiving notifications (whatsapp messages, emails, etc).
I switch off the AOD feature and would love to see a preview of notifications when i receive them without having to reach out for my phone.
Coming from the iphone, I'm so used to just glance at it and see if its an important message or something that can wait. I find this feature very well executed.
The s8 requires me to manually turn on the screen.
Any info? I'm pretty sure its not hidden somewhere in Settings... Probably can't even do this without root or installing additional apps.
Thanks
I have found an easy solution. Simply download and install this app from the playstore.

I knew there was an app somewhere that will do this! Thank you!
Since the Oreo update I used a similar app called "Screen Notifications" which woke the screen on notification, however no longer works since the update.
Anyone got a work around?
Hi folks,
I am often disturbed by calls in games or other relevant moments. The caller always appears in the foreground as a full screen incoming call.
I've tried a lot and tried out the internal ways to control notifications. Without success.
How can I change this behaviour?
Greetings,
Christian

Install an apk of Google Dialer (none rooted) (or if your rooted with magisk install it through that) then open settings, search for "default" and find default apps section and set it as your default phone app. I find Google dialer better as I like the anti spam feature anyway and the notification won't pause your games (takes up top quarter of screen in either orientation)
Doesn't the game mode block notifications including phone calls for this purpose?

I believe that would also work, though Google dialer is good for not interrupting in general and if you want NO notification, then enable game mode
Thanks for your replies, guys.
Unfortunately the game-mode can't block incoming calls... No matter which app the call is coming from (whatsapp, Facebook, normal calls...)
I guess there is a solution if I would root my device.
