I bought this head unit (new apparently) and it looked like it had previous owners stuff on it so i system restored it and now it looks different. No bluetooth icon or tv icon.
Is there firmware anywhere or anything else that could help?
Where have you searched, what have you found or tried so far. Post details of your unit, brand and model number mean very little.

Ive searched everywhere and messaged seicane and they are absolutely useless over there.

I bought a second hand head unit off ebay for my Audi but it did not come with any instructions.
Googling the model MCU (MTCB-MX-V2.16) and Model number (S07) has very limited results.
The software and abilities of this system seem to be quite limited so I am hoping to update it. I found the page on here where I downloaded the MTCB-MX-V2.82 firmware update but I do not know how to do it.
Has anyone got one of these models? Can they help me to root/update please?

Hi you should look for the Xtrons PF75ATTA it is exactly the same as mine in my MK2 TT, it comes with Lollipop as standard so what you could do is contact Xtrons Support and say you have a PF75ATTA and you need the Factory Firmware Restore and they will give you it. It works pretty well and the DashCommand is frickin excellent any more info let me know im TTOC member under the username CAGED
I ran across an update board for the MTCD PX3 head units to install the PX5/Android 6.0 system. Has anyone tried these? I'm specifically interested in purchasing the Xtrons PF75JCCAP, but I want to have the octa-core PX5 Android 6.0 setup. I believe that this unit can be upgraded using this core board, but would like confirmation from someone that has one (or one similar). Any thoughts? I've looked through all the wikis and googled what the Russians have done and tried a couple of different SoFIA ROMs to no affect.
What on earth is this thing? I bought it as the seller claimed it was a PX3...which was totally wrong.

You have an fyt unit...BETTER than px3...no need to use mtcd stuff...check the gtx ROM thread...
