Oneplus 6t 10.3.6 lose network after rooting. - OnePlus 6T Questions & Answers

Hi everyone,
I just updated to 10.3.6 and rooted my phone using magisk after I rebooted I cannot access Bluetooth or mobile network. So I flashed the stock rom again. Can anyone tell me why is this happening whenever I'm trying to root I'm losing mobile network and Bluetooth.

1. Completed remove Magisk
2. Flash full ROM + TWRP
3. Restart to TWRP
4. Flash Magisk
5. Restart to system
6. If it works, restart to TWRP and flash custom Kernel
7. Restart to system and flash Magisk mods
8. Don't use Bromite Systemless WebView, it has problem with 10.3.6

How do I flash Magisk to my Meizu m3 note?

Each time that I boot the phone up into recovery mode and select the system upgrade option it tells me that the firmware is corrupt (for Magisk). I was able to get the latest version of Flyme (6.1.0.0G) flashed to my phone without the firmware corrupt showing, however, I cannot for Magisk. How do I flash Magisk to my phone without the firmware becoming corrupt?

You cannot flash Magisk zip or any other zip from STOCK Meizu recovery.
You need custom recovery for it.
With STOCK recovery you ONLY can flash official Meizu firmware zips.
Only thing you can do is to root phone with root privileges option in Flyme account section in phone settings (you must have Flyme account created).
After you enable root privileges download Magisk manager APK from official XDA thread and install it(NOT ZIP,ONLY APK FILE!!!!).
And when you install Magisk Manager DO NOT TRY to install modules since you dont have custom recovery.

Magisk on Mate 9 Pro

Is someone had more luck with Magisk than me ?? I have a rooted LON-L29C432B225. Was trying Magisk 13.3 but without luck. Phone restarts automatically during magisk installation through twrp.
I have finaly made it Magisk is working without problems on Mate 9 Pro (LON-L29C432B225).
1. Install latest twrp recovery - https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/development/recovery-unofficial-twrp-huawei-mate-9-t3515617
2. Unroot rom, easy way i to download boot.img and flash by fastboot flash boot boot.img (https://www.dropbox.com/s/sj5su702r8omp2u/BOOT.img?dl=0)
3. Thanks to @ante0 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=2247733), he made a modified magisk package - https://mega.nz/#!QhMmRDgC!c3UqYIoaGtsekmJbWoP5x90spHbXVhircmmA_68s3pY
4. Flash magisk in twrp
5. After reboot you receive info about magisk update to 13.3. Mark in magisk manager settings "keep force encryption" and allow to update.
6. After next reboot you shuld have working magisk and SafetyNet status green
I hope it will help someone
On AL00 mate 9, followed the same procedure except downloading the boot.img as restored by huawei eRecovery, only unlocked the bootloader and didn't do anything else. Can install 13.2 modified version but safetynet fail, update to 13.3 with keep force encryption then bootloop. Checked the magisk log nothing seems wrong when can boot. Root works fine. Any help? Thanks
Guys any updates on Magisk v14 with xposed on our phone? fw B225

[GUIDE] Install Xposed without breaking safety net on Nougat.

Note: THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH SYSTEMLESS XPOSED, YOU MUST USE THE CLASSIC VERSION!
Configuration tested on:
Redmi Note 3 Kenzo 3gb goodix variant.
Officially unlocked bootloader.
Installed latest global dev rom (7.7.20) with miflash in edl mode then installed TWRP official 3.1.1-0 then installed 7.7.6 firmware from LineageOS 14.1 thread.
Latest LineageOS build (2/8/17) with Radon Kernel 5.3.
Steps:
1. Install latest global dev rom to make sure you have the proper nougat binary blobs on your device. Preferable to use miflash and phone in edl mode. Allow phone to boot one time so rom can partition the emmc properly.
2. Install latest TWRP official (3.1.1-0) by putting phone in bootloader mode and connecting to PC via usb cable. Copy the twrp recovery image to the same place that fastboot.exe is located. Open an elevated/admin command prompt and navigate to where fastboot.exe is located. Type "fastboot flash recovery NameOfRecovery.img" (without quotes of course). When that is finished type "fastboot boot NameOfRecovery.img."
3. Install zips in this order. LineageOS rom, OpenGapps, Radon Kernel 5.3 (selected all default settings), Magisk 13.3.
4. Reboot to system, set up phone and install any apps that need to pass cts safety net at this point. E.G. Super Mario Run.
5. Reboot to recovery.
6. Install the latest Xposed build for SDK25 ARM64 from PurifyOS Xposed thread - https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-android-nougat-sdk-25-arm64-t3639221. DO NOT USE THE SYSTEMLESS MAGISK VERSION.
7. Reboot to system.
8. Install latest Xposed Material installer by DVDAndroid - https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/material-design-xposed-installer-t3137758. At this point you will fail safety net. The next step will fix that.
9. Install Root Switch 1.3.3.2 apk.
10. When you need to pass CTS Safety Net use Root Switch to disable Xposed. It will ask you confirmation to perform a soft reboot. After the soft reboot Xposed will be disabled and you will be able to pass CTS Safety net again. DO NOT USE THE DISABLE ROOT SWITCH! THIS WILL PERMANENTLY MESS UP MAGISK!
THIS HAS ONLY BEEN TESTED ON THE LISTED CONFIGURATION. DO NOT ASK IF IT WORKS ON ANY OTHER CONFIGURATION, TEST IT YOURSELF. I WILL NOT BE RESPONDING TO QUERIES, IF YOU FOLLOW THE STEPS AS LISTED YOU WILL BE JUST FINE.
Linn for root switch
tried this on rr rom redmi note 3 kenzo working absolutely fine highly recommend
Works on One Plus 3T with Oxygen OS 4.1.6!
Thanks!
If the root switch app disables xposed, then what is the use of it

LOS PIE unencrypted updating bootlooping phone

So I'm running the 03/25/2019 Lineage OS microG build for my OP5, it is Android Pie and I have the latest codeworkxx TWRP 03/11/2019 and PIE firmware.
When flashing the rom (clean install) I decided to go unencrypted this time so I used the following force encryption disable zip found bellow after I clean flashed/installed the rom...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/universal-dm-verity-forceencrypt-t3817389
...followed by flashing magisk right after. Everything worked, LOS PIE is installed and unencrypted/rooted perfectly.
Problem I am having is that now when I try and install the weekly builds through the Android OS updater, it does it's thing, reboots to recovery, installs the update, magisks then re-installs through the survival addon.d script but then the phone just gets stuck into a bootloop. While reading the install messages in TWRP it does mention that magisk is removing dm-verity for what it's worth.
Does this have something to do with magisk or the LOS ROM having an "encrypted kernel" by default and how I am installing an encrypted kernel/update over an unencrypted phone? Or is this some issue with magisk?
Does this mean if I want to flash weekly updates while keeping unencrypted status I will have to dirty flash them by downloading the zip, manually placing it in my storage, booting to recovery, flashing, then flashing the encryption disable zip again and finally Magisk instead of of just pressing a button in the Android OS updater?
Luckily I restored successfully from a backup but I'm wondering is I screwed myself over here setting up my rom without encryption. Never had this issue updating with the weekly builds when my phone was encrypted.
What do you guys think?
Alright well I managed to update my ROM without bootlooping, just like I thought instead of being able to use the built in OS update manager that does everything for you I have to manually download/transfer file to my phone, flash rom update, flash force encryption disable zip and then magisk again.
While this is an alright workaround for now, is there anyway to regain the stock updating functionality built into the rom while remaining unencrypted and having it NOT bootloop my phone each time? What if I want to use addonSU instead of Magisk, I don't think the disable encryption zip works unless you flash Magisk right after unless I have to update the rom, flash the disable zip, flash magisk, remove magisk and then use addonSU.

What is update process for OP6T 9.0.16 > 10.3.3 rooted [Global]

I have OP6T OxygenOS 9.0.16 and I would like to update it to the latest 10.3.3 with root.
What should be my process of doing so? I have not been in touch with rooting for the past 3 years so I don't want to mess things up. Another note is that while I am on OxygenOS 9.0.16 I tried to root it which was failed, but now few banking and calling apps such as TextNow thinks that my phone is rooted and they can not run -- but my phone is not properly rooted according to root verification apps.
Please tell me how should I do the update to the latest version from this point and then I would like to unlock bootloader and install recovery and root it as well.
Please advice.
BTW my OP6T is global

Flash OOS full rom zip on both slots using TWRP also flash TWRP installer zip on both slots reboot recovery flash magisk reboot system. Easy peasy.
Example:
Boot recovery: fastboot boot twrp.img
flash OOS 10.3.3 full rom zip
flash TWRP installer zip, reboot recovery,
flash OOS 10.3.3 full rom zip, format data, wipe data,
flash TWRP installer zip
Reboot recovery, flash magisk,
reboot system.
Note: I use a USB stick. I flash magisk zip off my USB stick.
That's what I do when I use OOS on my 6t far as installation goes.

Are you sure there is no need to update to 9.0.17 and then 10.3.3?
I've asked once and someone said that 9.0.17 is neccessary before update to 10.3.x.
Also there is option to flash from system without losing magisk modules:
1. Flash manually from update center (do not reboot)
2. Enter magisk and flash to another slot (after OTA)
3. Flash TWRP installer like magisk module
4. Reboot
But I'm not sure if I remember it correctly.

10.3.3 is all that you need. 9.0.17 isn't the only way anymore.

I have a T-Mobile SIM unlock OnePlus 6t and I converted it to an international model so when my conversation was done I was on OOS 9.0.1.1 and I booted TWRP and installed 10.3.4 full rom on both slots and also recovery installer and all just like my previous posts stated and everything went fine. I used mauronofrio's TWRP the version just before the latest 3.4xx when I did this.
I always download quite a bit of various firmwares and also TWRP versions before I start flashing things just in case something goes wrong I already have other things maybe I can use and I don't have to stop and wait for some download to finish... And I'm quite sure you know this but definitely make a backup of everything beforehand to USB or transfer it to your pc just in case you end up needing it as a precaution.
Edit added:
I am assuming that you already unlocked your bootloader... I believe everyone knows to do that that's on XDA forums before you can do anything to any device .. I say this after reading post below me here. I guess I should have said that earlier but I just assume everyone knows that on the forums... My bad. ??
From fastboot on Linux PC:
sudo fastboot oem unlock (then hit enter on keyboard) use volume keys to move to unlock option and your Power button to select it and confirm. For more info see: https://www.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6t-unlock-bootloader-root/
Super easy to unlock bootloader just remember it does wipe your device clean so move anything to want to PC or USB stick first...
I would think you could just update oxygenOS to latest then re-root no? Assuming your already bootloader unlocked which it seems like would be the case if you have an obsolete magisk installation.
Edit: re-reading your post maybe it is not unlocked as you failed to root. In this case just unlock then flash the latest fastboot image and then magisk as others have already stepped you through. You will lose data when you unlock so backup first.
So if I'm on 9.0.16 I could flash latest OOS directly from TWRP and then flash magisk? And no data loss? Of course I'm rooted with bootloader unlocked.
Oh dear this process is getting harder because recently I was busy doing other things it sounds way harder it actually is. Isnt there a way I pay someone on this forum so that user help me do this. Like download stuff links and proper version and follow me up with it because i want to do this without messing things up!

It is indeed a tough job. This A/B partition has had a lot of people bootloop/soft bricked their phones.
However, you need not pay anybody anything. If you are on stock, I would've recommended you upgrading it via Oxygen updater (a 3rd party app on the play store) and then using the latest recoveries (TWRP 3.4) and flashing it via Fastboot mode.
It is super easy.
