Hello,
I bought a webcam in hopes of being able to use my TV + SHIELD PRO installation as a video conferencing system. The video part works perfectly, the disappointment instead came from the audio part; no audio is captured by the webcam microphone.
is there any way to fix this?
Kind regards,
Luigi

Hi guys,
I'm trying to make some podcast videos and i need your help concerning the audio recording. In my video podcast i have 2 guys walking around the room at a fair distance from the camera so i need to use some sort of external wireless microphone solution connected to my android to pick up their voices at the same time i'm recording the video, because the built-in mic isn't good enough. My problem is that i'm on a low budget and on amazon and ebay, and a decent wireless external microphone solution with 1 or 2 lapel mic's start at 100$ and can get very expensive. Do you know any system like that, that is more affordable? Another way to possibily solve the problem is to try other alternatives, like having each host carry a smartphone with a wired lapel mic and then sync both audios with the video, but i would like to avoid post-production work as much as i can, because i want a fast video creation workflow. Another idea is to use a bluetooth device as an external microphone to pick up audio when you're recording video, but i don't know if that's possible with just 1 or 2 devices at the same time. Do you have any more suggestions?
Thanks in advance
Hello, can anyone try to use projector and receiver at the same time? I have Yamaha RX-V475 and want to send audio with airplay or upnp while watching movie on projector. I found app AirAudio, but don't want to root device. Solution can be app for video playing, which can stream only audio...but I didn't find something like this

Have you tried the audio-only version of Chromecast? Don't know if it will work or not. Otherwise cable is probably best option.
Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to stream Audio from firetv stick to my phone via Bluetooth or WiFi and watch movies without disturbing others at night. Any help on this will be appreciated
Absolutely, this is a pretty easy one...
I have a Vizio Smart1080 blah blah etc etc... On my phone I've downloaded SmartCast Mobile found within Googles Slay Store. Within Vizio's settings, you can set the TV remote up as the firestick by use of CEC, which allows your TV remote to sync to the fire remote controlling complete functionality. Then, I setup SmartCast Mobile by following instructions that were given after the the setup of SM on my phone on the TV's end of things. Basically If your Tv is 'smart', yes. there is a way </BushDidIt>
Stereo Bluetooth is the best option
You can use any stereo bluetooth headset with firetv and the audio will be transmitted from stick to the headset.

I'm struggling to set up some new headphones. Amazon state they don't support headphones with a microphone.
Any workaround please?
Hi,
I bought a new bluetooth speaker of HP (S6500 Wireless Mini Speakers).
I was able to pair this with my FIRE HD 8 and listen music with youtube etc.,
But when I use Skype, the speaker is not working either for audio or for mic. When I change settings to Device speaker skype audio works back.
So, i would like to understand how to connect. Some where I read fire doesn't support BT Mic. But there should be some alternative i think like google play for fire.. Please help.
Can someone help??
This is surprising that no user in XDA has solution to Amazon fire Bluetooth problem......
Hi all,
Having recently purchased a Shield Pro, I'm trying to get the surround sound working.
I have a couple of 5.1 format FLACs which I'm using for testing. The left, right and centre channel play fine, but the sub and surround channels don't. This seems particularly weird to me, as I'd expect to either have a plain old stereo mixdown, or fully working surround - but I'm definitely getting the centre channel in addition to the L+R front speakers, just not the others.
I've tried playing them through both Kodi and VLC, with exactly the same results. The receiver (a Denon AVR-1912) shows a Dolby Pro-Logic connection from the Shield, and works fine on all channels with other sources. I've tried tweaking the obvious settings on both the shield and the media player apps, but to no avail.
Can anyone help me out with an idea of what might be going wrong here, or what I could try out to troubleshoot it? Thanks.
