Hi everyone,
Today, it's easy to turn OFF Android OS (so the phone or tablet) at a defined time.
But to turn it ON automatically with a app it's impossible because the software is not running.
I have a Xperia X10, when I was under Android 1.6, the phone automatically turn ON when I plug the charger, but now under 2.2 it doesn't work...
So, are you aggre with me that it come from the kernel ?
Do you know what to modify in the kernel to make it work ?
Thank you in advance.
just like android phones can't wake themselves for an alarm, it won't be able to remember a specific time to turn itself on.
Thank you for your reply.
There is a way to make it turn on on power supply, that's finally my question.
Morning everyone,
Thank you for the curiosity in knowing what I require support in and I hope someone out there can help me resolve it.
I currently have an LG Watch Urbane LTE with AT&T And a couple of days ago I Installed Android wear 2.0 on the device.
Everything was working great until I started disabling system apps, one of which included Ambient mode.
As a result, my watch is now glitching. Every time I turn it on, the watch flickers as if it's trying to stay awake. I cannog access apps unless it's the Google assistant (not OK Google) and looking online for a solution hasn't been helpful.
Hell, I don't even know If it's even possible to access the recovery menu manually through buttons. In any case, the software side is definitely not working and attempting to unpaired the device with my android phone did nothing, the watch didn't allow m to confirm anything. Same goss for ADB.
Any type of support would be appreciated, last resort would be to contact LG and send the device in for repairs.

Did you enable developer mode so you can connect your watch to a computer and use adb to reboot to the bootloader (thus flash android wear 2.0 again)?

Not really, however I managed to fix it.
It was a pain, but thankfully I didn't give up!

Well what did you do to fix it. Someone may need the solution later. So please post what you did to resolve this.
Long press the mid button for several seconds to force restart your watch, when the LG logo appears, quickly slide screen from upper left to lower right corner, then it will get into fastboot menu, which means you could make a factory reset. (Chinese student poor English)

That worked great!
Hello there! So, I have been using my Moto 360 gen 1 with my Lg G4 (CM14 12-05-16 nightly) for a while now, and it just recently started doing this. Everything says my watch is connected to my phone, I can even send texts from my watch and turn on do not disturb from my watch (but I can't turn it off from my phone), but no notifications are pushing through to my watch. The only thing that fixes it is a factory reset on the watch, but that only allows notifications for a few days, then it just goes back to broken again. Any ideas? I love my watch, but it doesn't do me any good over a regular watch if I can't get notifications on it. Thanks!
Hello,
I'm trying to find a way to schedule a daily power off my Samsung S5e tablet without having to root the device.
Is there a way to achieve that? Basically I use my tablet only at night so I don't want to have it open the whole day without a reason but I sleep while listening to podcasts so it doesn't suit to power it off manually.
Basically I'd like what Huawei offers out of the box to schedule power off from the device settings.
Thank you.
Don't know of a power off, but there is a reboot under general management / reset.
Hi, I just bought this tablet coming from a Shield with LineageOS. In that tablet, you can switch off wifi automatically when the tablet is sleeping (so no notifications, and power saving mode), but can't seem able to do this in the stock Android 12 ROM, is there any way/app to replicate this?
Thanks!
