There was a thread noticing all the codes but they are not documented so this might be useful.
Disclaimer: I am neither resposible to accuracy of description of these codes nor any damage/loss caused by using codes improperly/recklessly.
Notice: Codes here are based on H2OS (which is the stock ROM in China rather than OxygenOS), so some of the codes may not be available in OxygenOS.
Language
*#008# : Change system language to zh-CN immediately.
*#67760044# : Change system language to en-US immediately.

*#10000# : Show diagnostic results. If you have never cleared them manually or messed with diagnostic menu or functions before, this is your in-factory test result, which should be all OK.
*#800# : System logging menu.
*#808# :Don't operate functions recklessly in this menu. Diagnostic mode main menu.
*#802# : GPS test.
*#803# : Wi-Fi test.
*#804# : Mobile network searching test.
*#805# : Bluetooth test.

*#809# : Microphone Loopback test.
*#814# : TD-SCDMA network searching test.

I'm not responsible for what might happen on your phone if you choose to dial any of these!
These are the codes that work on the standard phone dialler app on the Orange San Francisco, but I'm pretty sure they'll be almost identical on other models that we collectively know as "ZTE Blade". Known small differences (in texts) are down to whether the firmware expects to be running on an OLED or TFT display, and whether you've deleted seemingly unused apps like ChiperTest.apk, fcctest.apk and QcNvTest.apk. Most are prefixed with "*983*", which is "*ZTE*" in phone letters -- I've added a mnemonic for the other part where I think it's obvious (feel free to suggest better ones!).
"Automatic Inspection" runs through the basic tests automatically (usually you need press a button to move on to the next bit -- don't get thrown by any blank colour test screens!). There are a number of interesting items for developers, with hardware info and other goodies. If any of the descriptions don't make the function obvious then it's either poorly written or I don't know exactly what it does (I'll happily update this if others can explain better).
If the code has been recognised by the dialler then it will react immediately when you enter the final "#". If nothing happens when you've done that, don't press Dial!
Edit: on the ROMs based on the Japanese 2.2 you need to put the phone into "Engineering Mode" first, by dialling *ZTE*OPENEM# (*983*673636#) -- this action will be confirmed by a quick pop-up. To close this mode, dial *ZTE*CLOSEEM# (*983*2567336#) -- this then prompts whether you want to do a Factory Reset, which you do not have to do (you can simply Back away from this screen).

Hello, what code shude I use to know if my SF is TFT or Amoled?
Regards!
Check the build number in Settings>About Phone. AMOLED ends in 05, LCD ends in 08. IIRC all white SF models are 08 and most grey are 05 (unless its a newer unit which will likely be 08).
Thank´s man.
Mine is 01. What that means?
Looking at the screen characteristics it seems like LCD.
Thanks man. great post
Really nice. Works on Boost Mobile Warp Sync N9515.
Would you happen to have a code that forces prompt for unlock? (Changing sim cards doesn't trigger anything)

I think unlocking the Boost Mobile is a lost cause. I've tried several other sims and the only codes I've found to show the unlock menu don't work:
1) Alright then please remove the SIM card and try this code ###825*09#,
2) Got the prompt for code? Please enter the code you received,
3) Failed above, try *983*8284# to access the Unlock Menu,
4) Failed above, finally try *983*865625# to access the Unlock Menu.

I also tried the connect to computer in control panel and that doesn't do anything either.

Hi everyone, I've posted this tutorial in the NFC hacking section of XDA but I wasn't sure of where to put it and maybe here is better, sorry if I'm not aloud to post twice, you can delete this post.
Here is the tutorial : How to use a nfc tag to unlock galaxy s3 and other android devices with nfc.
Translated from the french version : http://www.galaxys2.fr/forum/voir-t14883.html#p146889
Required:
-Anything with nfc (nfc card , nfc tag , tectiles ...)
-Be rooted
-Installed Tasker + secure settings plug-in , Widgetlocker , NFC Re-tag
-download the NFCmodSGS3_lockscreen matching your ROM here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=1712024
-Deactivate any lockscreen in settings (even the slide to unlock one)
-10 min of time
Ready ? Let's go
1st step : Flash the NFCmodSGS3_lockscreen***** via CWM
2nd step : Lockscreen configuration
Start widgetlocker and select a lockscreen with only one function : unlock
In settings , inputs, enable the back button, in advance select the 2 last ones

Hi all,
I am a bit new to this forum. So my apologies for any tips that i have not known yet
I got a note 4 from SK telecom KR (SM-N910S) unlocked verion running Octa core version. There are 3 issues currently exist on my phone. I am living in Australia btw.
1 : Every time the phone start up, it will ask me whether i want to enable networking or not and talking about roaming ??
2 : Sometimes MMS can not be sent, retry few time and its ok ?
3 : The networking on SM-N910S has a big issue for me, that model only has 2 kinds of network LTE/3G mode or 3G Only mode, on AU version we have GSM/WCDMA/3G/LTE etc so it look like i am missing WCDMA and 2G networks
My question is :
* How can i access the hidden menu for Note 4, i know there is a hidden menu somewhere on that phone allow me to change network mode
* Can i flash my phone with AU firmware to remove roaming message and other SK's stuffs. ??
I can list some of my phone info here

Hi,
For me is not working. I did that change, I have LTE connectivity (not 4g as I have on my note 3) but now I can't use the phone, only Internet. Any idee? I'm on Vodafone Romania.

4G and LTE is just preference in naming. If you choose 'LTE' option without 'preferred', it will fail to fallback to 3G to make a phone call. Different story if your carrier has VoLTE

note 4 hidden menu network settings
I got this note 4 off ebay and it kept wanting to roam, and not use my network preference. I went into the hidden menu and changed it to all LTE and it asked if i wanted to use my network data and i said yes. Fixed it and the roaming "r" went away, but......................it won't stay like this after you reboot the phone, it goes back to roaming again until you go back into the hidden menu and do it again. How can you get it to stay permanently?
Hello! I had the problem that the only settings to prefer LTE was CDMA + LTE/EvDo on my Huawei Y6 L-21.
Everytime i chose it, my provider connection was lost and the IMEI deleted. Only after flashing the stock ROM i got my IMEI (and the connection) back. I searched on the internet and found this little workaround / fix:
Using the Dialer USSD code Exploit
This is another easy method for setting 3G/4G only mode on Android devices. It is as easy as dialing some set of USSD codes on your phone dialer.
To force LTE/TDSCDMA/WCDMA only mode on android devices via the USSD code exploit, you’ll need complete the following steps.
Step1: Dial *#*#4636#*#*, on your phone dialer and follow after the pop-up window’s options.
Step2: Click on Phone information1 ==> set preferred network type to complete the LTE/TDSCDMA/WCDMA only mode settings.
Thats it!
