I've read alot about upgrading to a 500gb ssd and was itching to do it . But is there any problems that can come from doing so . Can it be done and not run into problems updating etc....?
Thanks in advance

Hmm, may I ask how did you go about cloning? Also was this a 2015 or a 2017 model? I upgraded my 2015 back on December because my Seagate hybrid drive was going out. Few months later the hybrid drive but the dust and had bad sectors so I'm happy that I did the swap when I did.

Can anyone shed some light on what a sdx drive is .
As described in tutorial
your drive is sdX the command will be something like this:
dd if=start.bin of=/dev/sdX bs=4M

sdX is the drives number (X will be 1,2,3, etc. Depends on Linux mounting. Most likely it will be sd1 if it is the only drive connected as a usb connected drive).
Hope this helps.
Cheers,

That's a brilliant bit of help thanks .

Outdated! Use the thunderbolt tool here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1703455
This is an open-source tool that automatically unroots your thunderbolt.
NOTICE: This is designed for people who used REVOLUTIONARY to root, but works fine with other methods.
Great for people not comfortable with adb or fastboot commands, or people who just want everything in one place and made easy.
*THIS WILL WIPE ALL DATA, BE WARNED*
This tool will:
Install the Fastboot drivers for you (If needed)
Unroot in one reboot
This would most likely be used for people that need a warranty replacement.
HUGE thanks to AndroidGod on ThunderboltForums for support, patience, advice, TOTALLY RISKING HIS THUNDERBOLT for testing, and simply being cool.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check the MD5 Sum of this. It is a very large (~450 MB) file.
PLEASE follow ALL instructions in the program.
I am NOT responsible for any damages. (Standard disclaimer)
FILE: Download UnrootV3.zip
MD5 sum is on the download page.
Program has integrated OTA updates! No new releases!
If you have any questions or run in to any issues feel free to add me on GTalk: [email protected] . I can reply from about 3:30-10:00 PM EST. If it is outside that time, you can still ask, but there might be a late reply. If you don't have a gmail account, you can just email me at that address.
Tried unrooting my phone for a replacement but when I run the unroot it says to use 7 zip to unzip which I did. Any idea what's wrong?

There is a Wi-Fi sleep when u lock the tab i dont know whether it is present in the marvel

Because I haven't seen anything regarding it. Would be awesome if I could partition to 2 8GB drives and have Ubuntu on one and Android on the other, would be tight on storage but I don't need 8 gig games or 3gig movies, I stream everything anyways. 5GB cap and I barely use a gig.
N4 has 12gb total available and don't think it's possible to dual boot just yet.

Guys, I'm just a noob so I'm not sure what the big fuss is with Ubuntu. I've wiki'ed it and it just seems to be linux for a phone, correct?
Ubuntu is a Linux distro for PC - the aim of Ubuntu phone is to be able to have that same desktop on your phone, and when you arrive at your computer, plug it in and continue the session on your computer. I think.

It's said that first phone capable of running Ubuntu Phone will be N4, I wonder how much space will it take from our devices, and if we will be able to have it without screwing android critical partitions (dual boot?).
