we all know that it usually takes a few weeks to get released + all those firmware release never get to public but just some.

Version 146 is available here in Slovenia - phone from Germany.
I tried to update but there was some error, so i'll try later again.

I can confirm version 146 being available for Germany phones. Didn't try to install it yet though.

They've also added 3.0.1.A.0.149

Well, just tried to install 146 and failed with something like "Unable to install or start phone software update components"...

Very strange. I check again today and they have removed 149 there.

what are the improvements ? 3.0.1.A.0.145 vs 3.0.1.A.0.146? both are 2.3.3 ?

I've got the A 3.0.1.A.0.146 on my German unbranded Arc since yesterday.
A friend of mine claims that according to SE support the changes are:
- improved video and foto quality
- some smaller bug fixed
- improved wifi connection stability
- improved battery life a bit
However, the update wipes all you data and resets the phone... quite funny for such a small update when the last massive one just worked on the fly.
I haven't noticed anything upon now, but I never had problems with my wifi and obviously I can't judge the battery life up to now.

What about your root status?

How come only germany got this .146 version and other regions are left behind? Is it only country-specific update?

@Rycon33, they must be slowly rolling out the updates. Just wait a while.

It's just strange coz when they rolledout .145 the timing difference on each region is only by days. And this .146 has been in germany since late-june I think so I thought it could only be country-specific update. The wifi issue is just so annoying that I'm looking badly for an update that fixes it.

Sorry, I didn't have root before. (I wanted to but was pretty lazy about it ^^)
However, I don't think there's a chance that root stays. It's a total wipe out of the current software and it wasn't available OTA.
Something I've noticed: sudden reboots are back... not liking this. -_-
I also think it's strange Germany got it first... they were quite late on the last update. Also strange that there aren't any official news from SE on it. :/

just bought a new G4 for my family and got a new software update for the H815 Europe.
Android version: 6.0
Security patch level: 2016-08-01
No custom boot animation, no bloatware.
Unfortunately I didn't capture the official download link, so I will be hosting it until it gets mirrored

Oh no, you're right. I just took a look at the box of the phone and it says SWS, looks like it's a phone from switzerland.
Somehow it is impossible to get a device for your area if you don't get it directly from a service provider. I live in Germany, my first G4 was SEA and the second now SWS. But thanks for your reply!

Looks like the Brazilian 20b with an updated security patch.

I guess quadroot is not fixed in this release. because google previously said they are gonna fix it in the september securtiy update.

You are wrong. Some Users say in this release, quadrooter has been fixed.

I noticed that my phone was downloading an update this morning.
Currently, my configuration is:
- Nougat 7.0
- Baseband G950USQU2BQK5
- kernel version 4.4.16 Nov 10
- build # NRD90M.G950USQU2BQK5
- security software version:
- MDF v3.0 release 1
- WLAN v1.0 release 1
- VPN 1.4 Release 8.1
- ASKS v1.4 Release 161228
- Knox 2.8
this new update appears to be a security patch. can anyone else confirm?

This was released several weeks ago root has been achieved on it so no worries

Did anyone updated to last coloros6 for this phone?Can you share what changed ?
EDIT: i updated to last colorsos 6 with october security patch.The only thing i noticed is they added digital wellbeing

Nope, waiting for the update. I have august security patch yet.

Today i recieved new update with november security patch.
EDIT: this new update lost some features like virus scan,and storage clean up....wtf?
i also find out there is no way to use accubattery.The app just closes when turn off screen no matter what i do ( turn off power savings doesnt help)
i tried to rollback to older firmware trough stock recovery but its not possible....

I received an update for my yoga tab 2 days ago. Strange considering I was already running Android 7.1
The update was about 1.6GB and installed without a problem.... My only question is...... What did it DO/FIX???
Anyone know?

Knowing anything about the update I do not! But I want to confirm:
Yesterday, on April 19th 2020, I recieved and downloaded and obviously successfully installed a new update.
My build number now is "YT-X703L_S120015_200317_ROW". Still Android 7.1.1, security patch level 01 May 2018.
Sadly I didn't check the number before the update ...

It's odd to receive an update that doesn't include A RECENT security patch. The not said "but fixes" but didn't give any details and had no new features.... So I'm questioning why the update was rather large if it only had a few bug fixes

Received an update notification, but reluctant to install. Do you have any issues or battery drainage after update? Is it stable? Is there a change log available? Can't find any info abou this on other forums.

Performance is about the same.... Maybe a little snappier than before. Battery seems a little worse but that may be the 2 year old battery degrading. Other than that I can't tell any difference.
