I upgraded to 7.0 last month and now I'm looking at my security patch date and it was last installed with the August one. I found out they didn't push me the September one and now people are getting the October one. Is there anything I can do to fix the push of security updates?
Also, I'm not rooted.

just enroll in android beta program
Just did that an installed the newest version and I'm all good. Hopefully since I unenrolled, I can still get my updated normally. Maybe when I did the beta program the first time it messed with it. Hmmm...
Purchased my Nexus 6P a couple of weeks ago from Project Fi and it is still stuck on MM 6.0.1 and Dec. 1, 2015 security patch. Google support says to just wail longer for ota to update but will not offer up any time frame for update to arrive before I should assume that update system is simply stuck. Thoughts on whether phone just stuck on MM or whether it will update shortly. Most concerned about 2015 security patch! Thanks.

Hello,
I would just sideload latest 7.1.2 N2G47H OTA from Google here: https://developers.google.com/android/ota
There is an easy tutorial explaining the process. If you're not sure, let me know...
Otherwise you can wait till you have an update notification. Though there's no time frame as to when it will come to you.
Good luck...

I agree with @5.1. The fastest, least hassle-free way to get to 7.1.2 is to just flash the full April image. You could also try borrowing a SIM from somebody on a different network and popping that in. Let the phone start up and wait for their cellular network to be displayed in the notification bar. Then power down and put your SIM back in. Works, but you are liable to set yourself up for a series of updates. I would also recommend you leave your bootloader unlocked and USB debugging enabled.

Hi! New to the 6p (completely) but not to flashing/mods/etc. Can this be flashed with TWRP or only via ADB? Anything I should be aware of on an unlocked/rooted nexus w/ProjectFi? Assume I will have to re-root - is this correct?
Thanks!
Has this phone received ANY updates? When I run Motorola's update through the Android Settings app, I'm told the phone is up-to-date, but the phone is still running Android 7.0 with a 1/1/17 security patch... is this some kind of joke?
My updates are from September. Not sure what's going on with your updates. You can manually update via fastboot or TWRP if you aren't getting them...

How do I do this?
The UK finally got the May security patch a week or so ago and when i asked Moto UK about updates they were a little terse with their answer.
I have loved my Moto phones since owning a Moto Defy but i have been looking at Nokia handsets and they seem very good for the money and with the promise of timely updates.
There's a thread in here somewhere with all the firmware links for TWRP. Those are all flashable if you have it. If not, there's another thread with fastboot firmware. Just gotta find which you need and get cracking
Hello,
I bought my phone on Ocotber 2017 and i haven't received any updates yet. My latest security patch are from August 2017.

Yes, I believe the August 1st security patch, Android 7.0 is the latest update for the US variant. Build number is NPN25. 137-83.
I got mine from Amazon UK and it's on the august patch.
It's dual SIM, that might make a difference?
I have the Amazon Prime exclusive version (U.S. XT1687) with 7.0 (NPN25.137-83), Security Patch 8/1/2017

Yep. I'm on RETUS and that is the latest version.
i am using Indian variant and having 1st November 2017's security update.
Can anyone drop the link to download august build stock rom for xt1686
Hello, thanks for the feedback.
5 months without any security update, that's a lot of time.
Mine is on reteu, NPNS25.137-33-11.
Just talked to motorolla on the chat and they said that don't know when the next security patch will be available. For a phone that has release last year on February, the support/updates should be more active. A little bit disappointed with that.

This is the Latest update i have in india XT1686.
Security Patch: November 1, 2017
Build Number: NPN25.137-92
Android Version: 7.0
New patch from November 1, on January, almost six months after last one! Not bad two per year if lucky
Well done motorolla well done.
What exactly is the Google Play System Update?
Current Security Patch is December yet Google play system update is only October.
I have got a brand new update on my Tab s3 LTE with original rom yesterday (March 2020). I am quite surprised how long Samsung supports this model! Good to see as the community around this model is very small unfortunately.
Any Download links or Mirrors?
What's the changelog?
What kind of update? Security update or Android 10? Big difference between the two.

Security. We'll probably never see 10 on this device.
Something better? Or does it have no improvements?
I just recieved the security update yesterday. Does the device seem bit faster?
Security update. Samsung seems to have this tablet on the "Other Regular Security Updates" schedule (a.k.a. not Monthly, not Quarterly). No surprise really, since the last security patch for the tablet was the August 2019 one.
For a changelog I guess we can just just check every security update since last August. I can't post links yet, but if you search something like "samsung mobile security updates" it should be one of the first links

As far I am aware, there is only February 2020 security patch released for the Galaxy Tab S3
and the link is below for firmware downloads
