Hello folks,
I got a lavender phone with a rom modified by a telco, I installed my own rom and everything works EXCEPT the sim card... it say Sim card not detected. In about phone baseband is Unknown and *#06# doesn't show the IMEI's. Maybe my mistake was wipe Vendor partition, not sure.
I have another lavender and I have tried to cope Vendor, EFS but still not working. I used miflash to flash the original RN7 rom using fastboot, still the same, doesn't matter the rom none of the sim cards works.
I understand the original rom didn't had both sim enabled. however i had the IMEI numbers because it's on the label at back of the phone.
any idea?, what can i do?. Wifi works fine.!
thanks

I tried to flash miui 6 (stable and developer) and miui 7 (stable and developer) for fixing this problem. With custom rom the phone don't boot
So you tried to flash miui back but the phone won't boot because a custom rom is currently used?
There are only two accepted ways here.
1. Restore your backed up efs partition.
2. Send to oem to repair. They may charge you for a new board.
In my Redmi 2 i have installed a rom of redmi 2 prime for volte feature but after i have installed my original kitkat rom of redmi 2.After somedays when i insert a new sim in my mobile its not reading in my first sim its of airtel and second is of jio so its reading only those sim if i insert except it any other sim it shows no sim card I visited Mi store they are saying your mother board is damage and advising to replace it. I think its IMEI problem sooo pls provide me information that what to do now .
Go to settings>about phone>status and check both IMEI and both SIM. If they are ok, your motherboard cannot be damaged.
Hello guys, i have trouble in my phone, after upgrade miui 8 i lost my, IMEI, WIFI ADDRESS, BLUETOOTH ADDRESS, PRL VERSION, ICCID, MEID,

Do you have the special edition of redmi note 3 pro or did you flash the firmware of it to your device? There is a warning there that you will lose IMEI information. I think fixing IMEI is discussed here but for the rest I don't know.
My phone is not special editon,
I have flash with miflashtool methode, but i don't know when boot up my simcard not show,
Ok i will try that methode, and how to fix meid and othes
Thx guys
Okay but what version of MIUI8 did you flash? Are you sure you used the standard version and not the one for special editon?

The EFS partition has been corrupted. Use the EFS restore guide on this forum and everything should work again.

EFS Recovery Guide use this guide to restore your efs partition. It should restore your mac and other things too. Not sure about meid or imev, but everything else will be restored. Theres another guide there to restore/change your imei number. Any question, ask there.

I following this tutorial step by step and i can't restore IMEI using QPTS but i find to another thread with QXDM to restore IMEI.
Has anyone got the EFS or QCN from one of the new RNP3s with the goodix fp sensor? I lost my EFS but only had a backup from an older RNP3.
I was able to get my imei and Mac addressed sorted but I get no 4G because I'm guessing there's some other different stuff related to the new hardware that I'm missing.
Maybe you must set 4g manually or set up phone with clear data and locate to singapore, when i setup to my country i can't get 4g
i also loss my imei how to repair

Hey guys! I got my note 4 today. It is used.
It came at 4.4.4 android version and rooted. So i installed TWRP and flashed BLISS Rom.
But right after i dial any number, i got "call ended", i cant receive calls and sms too.
I already tried another SIM card, but the problem persist.
I also updated the bootloader and the modem to the 6.0.1 version from the ditto note 5 rom topic.
What else can I do to make it work ?
Did i got and defective phone ?
Is the SIM card you are using only works under 4G area? Or does it support 2G/GSM as well?
Try reinstalling the stock firmware and see if that helps. But don't root it this time.
Yes, it supports 4g. And i already tried the stock rom, but with no results... What can i do ? D:

So, I bought a Redmi Note 7 4/64 GB in bricked condition. The seller had problems with folder password and decided to flash new system, but accidentally installed Redmi Note 7 Pro rom and that's how it's now. I installed drivers and QFIL, downloaded a few fastboot roms, QFIL recognizes the phone and finishes all with success, but the phone is not booting, and no sign of charging. How could I find proper fastboot rom for my device? Here is all the info I have right now:

ADB and Fastboot can't see the device, but QFIL recognizes it even without EDL test point mode. Please, if someone could find a proper fastboot rom for this model, let me know. Thanks...

Thanks, but how would I know what is the right one? Is it Global, China, or EU? New one or oldest? Can I use SN or date of delivery or activation to connect it to the right one? Sorry for these questions, but in my life this is the only second Xiaomi in my hands, on the first one I had to install Pixel Experience to make it work, couldn't find proper ROM, too. I can't put Pixel on this one, can't put it in fastboot mode.
Please, if anyone knows how to choose the right fastboot rom for my device, I'm ready to pay over Paypal. Truly desperate...

Hi bro, it is indifferent, either the global or the Eu. just don't flash China. Unless you bought it from China.
Tried a few, China and EEA Global. Connected OK, download successed, but when I push a power button to turn it on, I can only hear sound of disconnecting from PC and black screen, again. Haven't tried Global rom for India, but that has no sense. Imported from China, bought in store in Croatia, EU. Xiaomi is a mess, a dude from support suggests me what to do when it turns on. Jeez...

Oh I hope it gets fixed :good:
Xiaomi support can't tell me what ROM was originally installed on my phone, even though I sent them it's IMEI number. Just a mess.
Is there any way to install a custom ROM, like Pixel Experience or similar, on this device, over QFIL software?

Your only hope is to get fastboot working and check the status of the bootloader, if it's unlocked flash any custom recovery via fastboot and boot to that recovery and flash any MODIFIED miui version, like Xiaomi.eu for RN7
Note that you can actually know your version of the device by Xiaomi official website, they tell you if it's Global or chinese. google that..
They say:
"Thank you for choosing Xiaomi!
However, the device you purchased is not an official global version and user experience may be affected. Next time, please purchase the official global version of the device through officially authorized channels."
What the heck does it mean? Not Global, but Chinese, bought in official store in Croatia, Europe? Why their support can't tell what is the original ROM by smartphone's SN or IMEI? They are tracking each device with ID, but essential things are not important, as it seems. Cheap junk, a guy in service just said: Dude, these sh.ts are all the same, I don't want to waste my time on it.
