I bought the Chinese version of the oppo watch when it first launched. I am wondering if there was a way to flash it to the Wear OS as it is running the stock Chinese OS. Is there a way this can be done? Or did i just flush 400 down the drain?
Same problem! No solution yet out there.
That would be great to have, but haven't seen anything....
At least you all have a cooler looking UI and many more OPPO Official watchfaces than our Global variant. We only have 12 OPPO official watch faces and it is hard to find watch faces that fit the form factor of this watch.
Hi, has anyone heard any new developments on flashing Wear OS to these watches? I'm in the same situation.
Hello everyone and happy new year. Stay safe..
According to Oppo...
"the Oppo watch has the security boot function, so even if the kernel is compiled successfully, the unsigned kernel cannot run directly on the watch".
I am thinking to retur my Oppo watch 46mm back. I can't get the compiled kernel to run on this watch. No twrp and no custom kernel and ROM for this device.

Hi,
I have an Ingenic I95 smart watch. The specs are pretty nice but the Android version is kind of laggy. I wonder if it's possible to create a custom Android wear from source. I already download the kernel from Ingenic website and I'm in the process to download the requirement tool from android.com website.
The reason that push me so is the watch manager from Ingenic is useless and unable to install anything from a smartphone plus the Android version lag.
If someone is on the same situation as me, we can team up to build the rom.
anyone have or heard of this watch? i bought one off of amazon and would like to know if anyone has anything they can share about this watch.like to know if i can flash another watch roms to it..ty
UPDATE: this watch has MT6572 chipset
5.0 mp cam, 512mb/4gb no sd slot, play store,1.6 screen, android 4.4.2..i like the watch alot, but would like to know if i can flash the bios with another rom like zgpax s8 or something simular..again thx
*UPDATE*
well i flashed a rom from another watch that is of the same form factor. The firmware is from a watch named Mlais and its based off of Android 4.2.2..the build number is 02_sw_jbl_mlais_20140611 and its available @needrom. it tried the 4.4.2 KK rom, but camera didnt work as was play store wasnt installed. Play store was absent from this rom also, but i was able to install it after i rooted with Kingo root. so far the watch is functioning pretty well, as im very new to this hobby. Would like to know in detail what i can do with this watch now that it is rooted(tweaks, apps, custom roms Etc.)any feedback would be welcomed.
I bought the IQI i3 a couple of months ago from AliExpress and am not happy with the OS. It is running a custom version Android 5.1 and I was wondering if that could be changed to another, better OS (like Android Wear or AsteroidOS).
I've searched around but couldn't find anything helpful. I'm a big noob when it comes to rooting and flashing ROMs so I'll need all the help I can get.
Hi guys,
in the last few days I had a look at various type of "chinese smartwatches" mounting Android Lollipop 5.1. I'd like to buy one of them for curiosity and for trying to build some apps.
I have a question about the software: as they mount Android Lollipop and not Android wear, is there the possibility that they will be updated, I think to Android 6.0 or something like that? Or better, is there any Android wear custom ROM to flash on them? Thank you for your replies guys
Update info
The update to Android marshmallow would be possible but I do not think any manufacturer decides to do an update, the smartwatch come out with Android lollipop to recycle code and have greater compatibility with older apps.
In future it may be possible to have a custom rom with android wear but will be a long and not compatible with all Chinese devices, when I have not seen a single port on a smartwatch that runs Android 5.1
Recently I have been wondering if it would be possible to have a Lineage-like custom ROM for Android Wear smartwatches. Since it is possible to unlock the bootloader and install custom software on such a smartwatch, why wouldn't it be possible to install a custom-made OS on a device of this kind?
Please excuse me if this question has been answered before.
Came here for the same question, over half a year later...
look for Project open watch

There are a early builds like AsteroidOS and FitWear. I have tested both AsteroidOS is in a very early state of development. check out this page: https://asteroidos.org/. And FitWear supports a few chinese APPs. But this OS isnt't practicable yet for a every day use.
