Impossible root in Samsung A20e sm-202f - Samsung Galaxy A20 Questions & Answers

Hello everyone. I open this post because I have fought hard enough to root my samsung A20e model: sm-202f. Any solution? I’ve tried everything from parking the AP boot. Modify BL. Everything, everything, everything. All I get is an eternal boot loop. I have to point out that the Bootloader is already unlocked but nothing. A greeting and thank you to help me.

How long is a while?
I've left mine on boot loop for 5-6 hours overnight and never gotten out of the boot loop.

Hi, I fought a lot too but in the end I managed to... without TWPR and with Odin and Magisk.... but the reason I wanted ROOT was to change some phone identifiers but apparently with the new Androids this is impossible due to the new phone security and agreements with Google.... since I don't need this phone to play with it or to do things that are too heavy but only for work tests and trials,,,I'm thinking about doing root after having re-released Android 4.4 which for me was the best (the easiest to make "anonymous")

Is there a way to root the Samsung Tab 4(SM-t230)?

Hi everyone,
First of all, i'm not really expierenced with Android, so this could be one of the reasons my problems occur.
I've got a Samsung Tab 4 (SM-t230) and tried to root it several times now, sadly enough i couldn't get the job done
What have i tried so far?
I restored my device every time i tried a new method, so the attempt to rooting the device was on a clean device.
I've read a lot of threads all over the internet about Vroot, i've tried this a few times, but this program doesn't seem to get my tab rooted.(it ends with a sad smiley where i can start the process all over again. Unfortunatly with the same results)
I've tried to flash the device with odin and a custom rom, this doesn't work either.
Along the way i tried a lot of methods, but none of them seem to work.
Is there a way to root this device, it would really help me out.
My android version is: 4.4.2
My kernel version is: 3.10.0-3095390
Thanks!

I used the ODIN method for my T230NU Tab 4 7.0 and it worked perfect, and I'm on a custom stock rom (as sadly that's all there is) but it's working fine so far!
how do you root?
How did you get the flash part to work in recovery? I went in recovery after Odin said success and it had no flash option. Could you post your steps and the files you used so I can do it? Thanks!

Any possible way to recover from "System software not authorized by AT&T?"

Any possible way to recover from "System software not authorized by AT&T?"
I have an S7 Edge SM-G935A on Nougat 7.0.0 and rooted, and I was having trouble with connections in apps detecting root. I searched for solutions online, and found Magisk could help mask root from apps. I foolishly tried installing it on my phone without reading about the prerequisites and after turning off my phone, I get the message "System software not authorized by AT&T has been found on your phone." The only way I know right now to fix it is to do a complete stock flash, but I didn't want to resort to that just yet, wondering if there was some other way to remove Magisk, bypass the message, or recover my data (photos & contacts) before I did so?

Thanks in advance

Sorry forgot to mention I tried with Nexus toolkit. Which worked perfect for my Nexus 6. I tried kingroot, towelroot, CF auto, and kingoroot. My phone freezes at the very end. It sat for about 30 minutes
Have you tried Magisk? I'm on the latest stock ROM and it works fine for me.
Everything you need to know about bootloader unlock, root, custom recovery, making a backup are all on the first page of this link. I followed it just a day ago, took me no longer the 10min to unlock, root and custom recovery... Best guide i've seen. https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guides-how-to-guides-beginners-t3206928

root SM-G975F

i know there are a few ways to root the S10+, now we are a half year futher and my question is; what is the easiest way to root the S10+???? because i can't get it done.....
Dont rkot you will regret it
Hi, you can root only if you own an Exynos model, check this first...
The easiest way is to root with magisk without twrp in my opinion, all instructions are in S10 Rom thread, it is the same for S10+. Remember that it will trip KNOX and you will not be able to use Samsung pay, all other apps as far as i know you can get work properly. For me SPay was not relevant, because it is not working in my country.
I have rooted my phone a month ago, installed AdAway and AfWall, some addition open sourse apps and i am totally happy with it=)

I am stuck on canary Magisk not allowing me to patch the standard AP file I loaded onto my phone. It constantly spins "Checking for updates" and never lets me go to install and then patch the AP. Yes I have booted into recovery and erased al data and caches and checked that OEM unlock is greyed out and boot loader is unlocked.

Issues rooting
Hey guys,
I am having issues rooting an S10 +, I used the guide to patch the AP file using magisk and then flashed it using odin, followed the rest of the guide to the letter.
Then once the device finally booted, it showed me the set up screen, then we back to the Samsung splash screen and had a a warning in red across the top of the screen that said "Only official binarys are allowed" and just kept on boot looping.
I then flashed the stock rom using odin, I have used the same process on an S10 without any issues.
Does anyone know where I may have gone wrong ?

Can't Root SM-A207M

Hello, I would like to get this phone rooted but it seems to be genuinely impossible, many different methods on both this site and others have been tried and failed. Every one of them ends with (I think) Knox getting tripped and it saying with red text and black highlight "Boot Check FAILED" . The boot loader is unlocked

When you follow those instructions perfectly, you get the result shown in the photo. This is directly after rebooting from recovery after factory resetting.
What is not specified in the video that may or may not help:
Odin version
Android version
Magisk version (i can see 7.3 if i remember)
What, if any of these variables make a difference?
I've tried this on Android 9 and 10
I used Odin3_v3.14.4 and Magisk 7.5.1
Perhaps you meant to show the video of an actual A20M being successfully rooted this way. The generic modern A model method does not apply.
Posting this link is only going to make people fail. It should be removed as it does not work. I'd really like you to correct me. Maybe everyone is not using proper odin version (the one that passes) or Magisk.
I forgot the photos.

No. I am not overly disappointed. Apart from no vibration on the keyboard, Samsung has done most of the work already. Screen size is decent, no bixby or even a flipboard to the left. Most of the stuff this phone has been denied i never use. I miss good lock and some key root apps like viper and battery charge limit.
I've no idea not what unlocking the bootloader does other than a warning and no OTA. Perhaps some of us need to learn how to do this instead of waiting. There's plenty of knowledge here and maybe most of the work with the A205 can help. Get brickin'!
