Hi all. The link below is an XDA article relating to the future releases by Oppo over the next 18 months.
https://www.xda-developers.com/oppo-android-11-update-list-download-install/
UK. Received ColorOS 11 in June. August received update to include July security patch and several amazing upgrades... particularly RAM expansion, camera functionality and overall smoothness. Phone is very fluid. No complaints.
New Zealand here Got ColorOs 11.1 upgraded on my Oppo Find X2 Lite a couple of weeks ago. Asde from there Ram expansion function I can't find any detail of what the changes are. I only noticed a couple off movie cosmetic changes.

Details all in Settings>Software Update. Not so much cosmetic, rather some solid under-the-hood improvements. Subtle but massive

No problem. Have a great day

A few days ago I was prompted with a new OTA update that was about 100mb. There were some stability fixes/battery life improvement, but it seems like there may be some new bugs.
Now when I have an app in windowed mode it seems to lose focus on the window app after just a second and you have to keep tapping it to navigate around.
I'll post a screenshot of the update info soon.
Yes, my tab pro 12.2 after updating with non reversible update had just gone wild. Please don't update it yet those incompetent bug fixer needs to chew some more bugs before they can fix something which was not broken at all. I don't know why they have to put their fingers where it don't belong. May be they have to show their bosses they are doing something great for the money they are paid.

Yeah I see that but it's hard to believe you wouldn't be able to odin back to any of the stock firmwares from sammmobile, I was told after updating to lollipop I wouldn't be able to downgrade to kk, but I tested that and it worked

Beamed from my Nexus 5
That's disappointing. Although shouldn't CM13 be released independently to zui?

yes, i too saw that, but the same timeline release for the both newly launched (Zuk Z1) and 2014 released (one plus one)..?
whats disappointing there? You can always run CM13 before that, but it really takes time to get a more or less stable COS marshmallow out and a few months of development work is not much, as testing and debugging takes up a ****ton of time for them... The only important thing is that they keep Lollipop up2date too, including major bug and security fixes while they work on marshmallow. And so far they have done that, libstagefright etc was always fast patched by CM and COS team.
Imho i don´t get why always everyone needs the latest buggy android version on their device, all i want is a STABLE os as i need my phone for working daily!
Reading the interview of Steve Kondik the work to be done to move CM from 5.1 to 6 will much smaller that what was from 4.4 to 5.
So hopefully we'll see it much quicker......
lets hope for that
According to https://plus.google.com/+FranciscoFranco1990/posts/dXBtugbiy2A (by the author of Franco's kernel)
Not only its performance has improved due to numerous changes in the framework + Kernel, it proves the so much criticised Snapdragon 810 runs beautifully and cold as **** when the software implementation is right. An un****able Android version without OEM/carrier **** or ridiculous UI **** ups, with proper tuning (Marshmallow really did up its game when setting up different tasks to sets of cpus as I explained earlier).

do you think these patches be ported to OPT ?
If so then Francisco is the guy to do it, his involvement seems to be quite official too as Adam Krisko (The community manager for OnePlus) seems to have been the one who supplied Francisco with a nice new OnePlus 2 and a OnePlus X :

Since the official Marshmallow version is out for the OnePlus 2 this month (quite possibly the X also), it could be coming with a kernel supplied by Francisco, most likely with the optimisation you mentioned. (It's more likely they will try to release the official Marshmallow with Franco also releasing his kernel around the same time).
Which, in my book, is ALL good. Our phone could finally be becoming the "Flagship killer" it was meant to be.
Does anybody know or is there an official announcement if the Mediapad M3 will get the Nougat update? If yes, when
There wasn't any announcement yet, but there's a hope to see EMUI 5.0 cause M3 is a new device and its CPU is compatible with Nougat.

Thanks Slavon, I think if Huawei want loyal customers they should update this device soon, let's wait and see.
I also hope we will see an update because it's the current flagship and has compatible components, but Huawei never showed big love to its tablets when it came to updates and at least they did not announced it for the first wave.

Looks like they removed the message, but I can confirm it was there at least for a few hours. I hope they were right, just ordered the tablet due to the confirmation.

Looking forward to seeing this upgrade arriving ....
BTW if someone already has an idea how to upgrade EMUI/ANDROID without loosing ROOT (i.e. avoiding to lose & have to reinstall TWRP etc.) ... please post or link to advices!
Thanks

i like the Split screen very much. i can chat on QQ and wechat without switch screen.
hope you will like it!!!
ps:my english is so poor,haha
Great! It would be nice if you could give us feedback on the overall performance and battery life
Yea please share your thought compared to miui8
Overall experience is very smooth, battery life is same as on MIUI 8.
For me that means around 9+ hours of SoT if using Wi-Fi only, around 6.5 hours when using data connection + GPS.
so far so good, btw i am not in the beta program ,:fingers-crossed:

Sent from my lithium using XDA Labs
Has anyone noticed any improvement in camera performance as original camera software falls short of potential.
Is this the final version?
My only question is: Does it support quick reply ?
