Hello everyone. for those who have installed the last open beta 1 Android 11 oxygenos ... you have to run Google pay. I am not Root. with the developer preview Google pay did not work. I told myself that with the stable version of Android 11, Google pay would work. but no. and at home without Root and magisk hide, do you have to run Google pay with the beta 1 of Android 11 under oxygenos? thank you in advance.

It's still open beta so I'm pretty sure google pay still doesn't work. Although since I am rooted in dev preview and open beta, now it seems like my device now passes SafetyNet so it's definitely not an issue with root. We will just have to wait until the official release.
Works fine for me. I used it at the grocery store last night. Rooted, open beta.
Hi. For no known reason, this morning I was able to add my credit card to Google pay, which now works in no Root mode.

I'm using RoW LTE on my US-LTE device and I just received the 5.1 update 5 minutes ago. I'm excited to see some improvements. It seems launcher 3 crashes were one of the most dominant problem of 5.0. good thing I'm always using Google now.
If someone has finished installing theirs, how's the experience so far?

Haha I know what you mean. Although kudos still to Nvidia developers team for patiently updating our device.
Yours is wifi or RoW?

I just got the update and install it on my rooted and unlocked Nvidia Shield ORIGINAL Tablet. The update downloaded and successfully installed through TWRP, that said I’m pretty sure I lost root but that's easy enough to get back.
Update: You have to reinstall custom recovery. Also my device has seemed a bit laggy, it took about 15 seconds for my virtual keyboard to pop up to make this post.

I tried that using the URL pattern from Android M but I couldn't get the right changes. Maybe others will have better luck.
Btw, for those who have installed it, the new update messed up my TWRP. Just re-flash it.
After flashing TWRP and wiping cache and dalvik, it became quite laggy. Weird. I'll let it "settle" for a while.
I guess no matter how much this device gets updated, it can never escape the occasional lags. I suspect that these are caused by Nvidia apps. I wonder why nobody has called out this phenomenon yet.
Or maybe, it's about time that Nvidia release some technical docs for the geniuses of XDA to be able to make their own mods or improvements.
I received it some hours ago on Original LTE model.
Tablet is very smooth, 98 500 on antutu in performance mode.

This looks like a minor update/fix - still v.7.0 with Dec. security updates.
Looking forward to 7.1.1 and latest security updates..

I just flashed this update with flashfire and all is perfect just download the full update open the flashfire app and click flash and job done. I kept TWRP and root, it's by far the easiest way to flash the update.

I am wondering if the update has repaired the bluetooth problems that many are suffering through? Were you having issues that have been resolved?

Have you tried to wipe the dalvik and cache? If that doesn't help, may be you need to do a factory reset.

Try using the 4th category brick repair manual (download the A2017G_FULL_EDL package, doesn't matter if Nougat or Marshmallow but I'd advice you to use the latest one since updates sometimes mess up the battery for some reason). Simply use the package you want and flash the entire thing via MiFlash on EDL mode.

So if your smartphone is still slow, the best way to have a good result is the factory reset. That's I will try.

Yes. My phone is rooted with Magisk from the very day I bought it. I have not had this problem before. I realized it after doing the latest update last week.
Do you have any magisk modules installed, like Viper4?
Reboot if you haven't already.
I've seen some people lose WiFi when they've used a prior magisk patched boot img.
Perhaps try to use the most up to date boot img if this is what has happened.
If it's just gone on its own then that's odd.
Is your IMEI still present? *#06# in dialer, should be two. ( Don't post them here btw)
What OS are you on?
What model phone?
What magisk modules have you got installed??
Are you using Lucky Patcher?
I had the same problem with flashing a Viper4 module in magisk. Even after uninstalling the module the problem was not resolved. I had to use MSM tool to restore my 8 pro, and run procedure to unlock the bootloader and root again without twrp.

That resolved it. Is there a native apk that can activate the call recording module without causing this problem? I think I read somewhere that call recording was available in Android 10 but updating to 11 removes it from the phone application. Thank you so much for the resolution.
