Hey guys I've got 2 friends who have the oppo reno z and I want to show them how much better their camera could be with Gcam
Although I couldn't seem to find a version appropriate for the Reno Z
But I also don't want to use their phones and just start testing random gcams in the hopes one works.
Does anyone know of or have a link to a working gcam? even it's just the main sensor that'll be better than nothing.

Battery life is very good
I was in between A70 and Reno Z and I bought the Reno Z. Worst mistake of my life.
-Phone is heavy and thick.
-ColorOS is not your typical android.
-You are stuck with the ColorOS launcher
-Still no dark mode and oppo doesn't allow third party apps to switch to dark mode.
-You can't unlock the bootloader so you can't root.
-I haven't got any security update in 4 months(still on november update).
-Netflix only supports SD(960x540p) even though the device is capable of Full HD and supports HDR10. OPPO needs to solve this with Netflix, it is a simple process but OPPO just ignores it.
-Gaming is OK but not very much. I play Brawl Stars fine but Underlords and NFS No Limits stutters like hell even on the lowest graphic settings, I think this might be related to mediatek chipset and it's optimization.
-Battery life is good but this is because ColorOS is very aggresive about background process, I can't get notifications from social media because of this. I have to keep those apps open in the background to get notifications thus resulting high ram usage and slowdowns.
-I don't have an OPPO app market and theme store and I can't install any themes no matter what. I don't know why.
-Camera quality is fine for a midrange phone but OIS could've been perfect.
Thats all I can think about right know. I've never used A70 but I bought my dad an A50 and overall it's a great phone. I can also recommend Mi 9T.
The S20 is almost 6 months old and still there is not a good gcam option even for snapdragon.
Yes there are 7.2 and 7.3 versions that work but none of them really improve on the stock camera. Also other than one single config for the ultra I have not found a config file anywhere for the S20 or S20+. Other models from OnePlus or Xiaomi or Oppo seem far better supported.
What gives? Is it because most S20s are actually exynos that devs are not bothering with it? I picked up a snapdragon with GCAM in mind but honestly it looks like there are better options if you want to run GCAM.
So since the OnePlus 9 pro came out I couldn't but notice that the main/selfie camera is the same as our "beloved" 8 pro but if I understood correctly that hasselblad tweaked the 9 pro's camera app. Or was it just the glass?
Anywho is there any difference between the OnePlus 9 pro's camera app and our 8 pro?
I personally do not know. However, I do not believe that they will ever make anything good again. Who the heck needs or wants a frant facing camera, anyway? I mean are we 13-16 year old girls trying to get as many STD's as we can before we hit the wall?
Well personally I love a good front facing camera especially with a wide angle one with a good aperture but that will never happen....
After seeing what op9p has to offer I think OnePlus has lost its touch and my experience with the op8p isn't helping either..
Is anyone working on a port of the APK?
I don't think the hardware is anything to do with the company they collaborated with, so if it's software then it could be portable?

Looking at the comparative video between oppo find x5 pro and the Samsung s22 ultra, the camera captures more detail on the Samsung and I hope oppo release a software update with further camera improvements.

Had many cameraphones in the past,but the choice that Oppo made running along with the IXM766, the sensor is disappointing in every aspect, like, come on! 1.56" sensor with 1.0 microns?! Seriously?!
Camera quality is noisy day or night.
Photos are over exposed.
hdr mode is a joke, the Pixel 6 and 6A murdering this phone blindfolded.
Portrait mode is like storm trooper trying to hit a tank 2 meters away and still miss the target.
Using video mode killing both battery and heats up the device badly, even without tapping the Record button the phone heats up..
Macro mode not kick's in automatically.
Using the Pro mode showing same results
Thought that upgrading to Android 13 will do any better but nothing was changed in the camera department...shame..
I have the Oppo Find X5 btw..
Came to see in the forum if other people are having such a worse camera experience with this phone as me.
This phone is the perfect textbook example of "doesn't matter how many/or high quality camera sensors you put in a phone, if the software is crap, the whole experience is crap".
Instead of making such a marketing about this "Marisilicone x" thing and other technical crap advertisement, Oppo could have spend this time more useful in the camera software development.
I'm surprised to say that my 7T Pro takes a lot better photo's than this phone.
My opinion of course...
Had Xiaomi Mi 11 before the Oppo and the Pixel, it actually demolishes the Oppo in every aspect.
With GCAM? it's perfect!
The Oppo does not have a proper GCAM either...

Which xml you're using?
I really enjoy speed and fast charging, but just had p30 pro come back from repair and night photography destroyed x5 pro..., tried so many different setting, options, nothing help to come even close, I really hope future updates will fix this issue, now I am thinking what to do as p30 pro got brand new battery, motherboard and latest november patch.., should I keep it and sell x5 pro or other way...
