what is the best kernal for lg g6 ? - LG G6 Questions and Answers

Hello
I think it is time for me to start developing the device and pay more attention to it
I bought it 3 years ago and did not format it or root it Or install any external ROM for it
only on the original ROM - He has served me well during these years
But now I suffer from slight but annoying slowness
And the battery gives me an hour or an hour and a half of screen use
I bought a new battery, but it has a 2800 mAh
And I want to install a new ROM for lightness and renewal
And a Krinal that gives better battery performance and the device’s performance in general
What are your suggestions and tips ?

for room i think to install HavocOS-v3.8
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g6/development/rom-havocos-v2-1-t3893668
for a kernel .. i don't know what is the best yet

No kernals available, sorry.

HD2 batteries and Android

Hi everyone,
as my HD2 gets older its battery life time isn't satisfying anymore. (See below)
Now I am looking for a new battery and as far as I remember a couple of months before our kernel developers did some work on battery support. Therefore I am unsure if these third-party batteries are still compatible with Android-HD2s.
Is it safe to buy one of these third-party batteries and use them with Android or should I stick with HTC's original batteries?
Thx in advance for your help.

Get yourself some Chinese extended batteries I've had them since January
they're from 2400ma to 2600ma so you're doubling your battery life
Theyre worth the 10 dollars here in usa I bought two of them
dont know how much they are in germany.... but theres plenty of them on Ebay I dont buy them from a chinese seller bc of the 2 week wait
you should find some german or european seller quite cheaply too
They are SO worth it
I barely even use my standard battery anymore I keep it as back up lol
As far as Htc batteries THEY ARE TOO EXPENSIVE
And trust me they are ALL made in china no matter what. Hell everything is nowadays
I'm using Chinese extended 2600 mAh battery and I can run for 2 days with it (approx 5-6 calls, 30 sms and about 1-2 hours of Internet per day).
I use the original battery from HTC.
My record is 1d15h without charging in normal use (as i used it with all the other ROMs, which last only 13-14h).
I use Tytungs Nexus GB ROM + r12 Kernel.

[Q] Will a bad (swollen) battery affect performance of the phone?

I spent two years abroad in a country where I couldn't use my Droid X. I just moved back stateside and decided to use it again. I noticed that my battery is starting to swell, so I ordered a new one (but it's not here yet).
My problem is that the phone is running very slow. I updated the rom to the CM11 and then tried another rom for the KitKat version. Both of them are very glitchy and slow. I don't mind testing more roms to see what works best, but if my battery is affecting performance then I'm better off waiting until the new one gets here. On the other hand, if the battery doesn't affect the performance then I'll just download some other roms and go through a process of elimination to see what works best. So, do I wait for the new one or go ahead and start testing now?
Thanks guys.

Rom/Kernel combo

Hello S7 Edge community
I am new here (upgraded from S6 today) and i wanted to know which Rom+Kernel (and why) you can recommend me!
Good battery life is my main target
Thx!
If you want a good battery life go with some stable rom
i would prefer you to be in stock rom itself but if you want to change try with cyanogenmod
the first day with new phones must use 2-4days after batteries is save longer
I know that about my phones
but after 2 days root and use phoenix rom ^^

pls help me decide on whether to nlbuy it or not.

Hi i am thinking of buying this phone but i want to know how is this phone? Means battery performance? And most importantly is rooting this phone is easy and how active is the rom development??

On the plus side it's extremely easy to root the 6P and there is a lot of Dev support for ROMs and mods. It's also a powerful and smooth running device. Idle battery life improves if you install a custom ROM and Kernel but SOT battery life isn't great.
A small but significant number of 6P users are experiencing problems like the phone shutting down at 20% battery, random reboots and bootloops. I wouldn't purchase a used 6P unless it was refurbished and came with a full warranty from Huawei or Google.

ROM development is very active! Look around in the ROM section! Happy Flashing

Z5C today, best way to go

Hi,
I have my Z5C since 2-3 years, and know I have to go for 2 option :
put new battery and a very fast & non drain battery
or buy a ZX1C .
so what do you think I must do ?
which rom choose to get a really speedy phone and with a low battery cosumption ?
actually I'm on rooted 6.01 marshmallow 32.2.a.0.224 stock firmware with exposed .. but all I have done trought exposed isn't as good that I would like (very hard to go with a good config)
initialy I get 0.0 % battery drain for 10h, but this work ONLY if screen doesn't wake up once.
so in real usage this config don't work .
thanks

If you can afford it, then buy the ZX1C. I dont know if its just me, but when any of my phones gets tampered with, it never comes back thesame.
Yeha I may find it around 200€ if I'm Lucky, I wouln't buy it New.
I can do à z5c "New" for 50€
And don't think the gain worth it
I went for the XZ1c and do not regret it. Also it's still supported by sony with latest security patches
