Ghost/Phantom touch while wireless charging - Samsung Galaxy Note FE Questions & Answers

Anyone experience phantom touches when wireless charging? I have used 4 different wireless chargers with the same result. Different cables don't solve it either. And sometimes, the phone sits on my desk and wakes up for no reason. Not willing to reset to factory yet.
Phone: N935K, Android 9, Security Patch May 1, 2020.

I've faced a similar issue. It only fixed itself when I found an original charger for the s8. Since the ones that came with this aren't available. Make sure you're using the original cable and charger.

This is wireless charging though, not wired charging.

WCP-700 AC Power

Hello all, I purchased a WCP-700 from eBay but I think the AC adapter was aftermarket. When I plug it in, the power and battery lights flash continuously and does not charge my phone.
I tried the AC adapter from my Dlink router and it seemed to resolve the issue: the phone started charging normally.
Now I need to find a spare AC adapter. If you own a WCP-700, could you please check your AC adapter and confirm the correct output voltage. I believe it should be 19V 05A, The AC adapter I received did show 19V 0.5A, but it doesn't work.
What's odd is that the AC adapter I tried from my dlink router is only 12V, but it seems to work.
Thanks.,
I can confirm that it is.
Output:19V 0.5A

Fast wireless charging not working with older Samsung pad (Note 5/SG6 Edge+)

Hi everyone,
I have an old fast wireless charger pad from Samsung, it worked alright on my "old" Note 5 but it doesn't fast charge my new SG7 Edge (SM-G935W8).
The SG7 Edge does fast charge when connected on cable (yes, i turned fast charging option on) but it doesn't wireless fast charge. I tried using other, better cable but still no luck. It wireless charge at regular speed as it was using any regular Qi wireless charger pad.
Anyone have a clue how to fix it?
Thanks a lot.

Compact USB-C splitter for wired/wireless charging ?

I've been using the "Nillkin Type C Wireless Charging Receiver" and its working great. Have Qi chargers at strategic locations and never have to plug/unplug cables.
However at times I do miss the fast charging ability the phone has.
Is there a connector that allows a USB-C cable to be plugged in while leaving the wireless receiver also plugged in ?
i.e.
Phone with Female USB-C
|
[Adaptor] -> Wireless receiver (USB-C female, always plugged in)
|
Wired (USB-C female, available for use)

Wont that reduce the life of the ribbon cable? Amazon reviews say that cable is prone to breakage

Well, as long as you don't put a sharp bend into the ribbon cable, it will surely last for a long time. Since the wireless charging coil is so inexpensive (mine was US$7.99 I think), I'm not too worried about it lol.

wireless receiver no longer working

Hi there, for a few weeks I have been using a usb type c wireless receiver (output 5v 1a) together with a 10w fast charging wireless charger. I know its slower than dash charging but it is convenient.
Problem is that neither of my receivers are working now with any wireless chargers. What could be the problem as the chargers work with other phones as do the receivers.
Is this a settings issue perhaps? I have elementalx kernel but I know it was working with this. I even tried rolling back to an older version but no joy.
Help please

Galaxy S8 - wireless charging shows "fast wireless charging" but there is no progress

Galaxy S8 - wireless charging shows "fast wireless charging" but there is no progress
Hi all!
I have Galaxy S8 which was bought new in 2017. It was used on cable charging for past couple of years. Few days ago I decided utilize wireless charging. So I put it on the Samsung Convertible Fast Wireless charger and the phone shows fast charging, the fan in the back of the charger is spinning and all seems fine.
The issue is that the battery doesn't charge(although it shows as if it is). The charging current is about 200mA and the phone is using more when idle than it gets from wireless charging. I haven't seen this before.
I have 2 wireless Samsung chargers. One is convertible that I mentioned above and another one is wireless portable battery charger, also fast charger from Samsung(bought from them). I have few phones at home such as S10e, Note10 and both of these devices charger properly use either of the chargers. The phone is US model with XAA CSC code.
I tried resetting the phone, flashed T-Mobile firmware(different builds), flashed XAA unlocked firmware as well few times. The device does charge properly when using the cable and settings for fast charge are set to on for both, the wireless and wired.
