Bluetooth in my Headunit not scanning OBDII element
Please suggest me some solutions.
To scan devices no device should be connected...disconnect your xperia first....and then perform the search again.
You will find your obd device
Enviado desde mi D6603 mediante Tapatalk
Ya, I tried it. But no luck. OBDII is not even discovered by the unit. But the same is successfully scanned by my xperia.
And does your obd2 device pairs with 1234 code?
If code does not match with your device it will.never be found

Today I upgraded to Android 7.1.2 and OBDII is connected with my head unit.
Note: Android 7.1.1 is full of bugs. Please upgrade to 7.1.2 inorder to connect OBDII
You can get a new one. I recently purchased the Launch CReader 4001 . This automotive scanner supports reading and erasing DTCs, I/M Readiness Status. I'm using this for my Toyota prius Plug In 2014 and working fine. Its helps me to see live data stream, turning off Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) and help me fix them quickly and efficiently, and it was easy to use and easy to understand.I think this is a must have for any car owners.
I'm trying to see if this is even possible but can't find much information. The information I've found doesn't make anything clear to me.
I installed a Joying 8.1 Intel SC9853i head unit into a 2009 Lincoln MKX (basically a Ford Edge) with a PAC RadioPRO4 Radio Replacement Interface RP4-FD11. Is the PAC unit a CAN Bus decoder? How can I get the vehicles information displayed onto the Joying screen? I see the CAN Bus settings in the menu but don't know what options to select and where to go from here. Any help is appreciated!

Afaik the pac is just a steering wheel buttons retainer...it just keeps your stock steering wheel buttons (usually coded) and converts the coded signal into resistive signal.
It usually decodes reverse signal (for reverse camera), illumination signal (for atomatic day/light brigth) and specifoc stock amplifier as well.
Consult your manual of pac for more information.
For sure it is not compatible with the canbus settings of your joying radio. You need specific joying canbus for your car model

I don't see one listed for my vehicle. Does that mean it's not possible to do?

Hello, I need the the version of MCU 5.3.17-13-14-253101-151110, I update my radio and he stop work's ( alfter update version of MCU is 5.3.18-98-10-E50201-160232.
Hello Everyone.
I need help identify my headunit if it is based on software that other headunits use, so I can get better support for the built in radio apps etc in launchers like FCC.
The headunit is a custom build unit for the Ford FG Falcon by Kayhan Audio. I think I've seen photos of the same apps on other units on google so I assume Kayhan has used a generic unit to build on. This is my first android headunit so I don't recognize anything.
I have attached some screenshots of apps and the settings about menu, hopefully this will allow someone to identify it for me.
Thank you!

It looks like it could be an allwinner head unit. Do a search for MCU version which should be a forum showing all MCU version manufacturers.

Hey did you have any luck with this?
Since there are threads for Joying, Teyes, FunRover and etc, I think there should be one for Junsun as well.
I bought a Junsun V1 4G+64G "Android 9.0" (Android 8.1) DSP Car Radio Multimedia Player For Suzuki Swift Sport 2010 to replaced my aged AN-21U https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2528349 but I am quite disappointed with the sound quality, especially the radio tuner sound and reception.
The Intel eight cores performance is great compared to the old 2 cores and 64 GB storage is plentiful but the sound isn't even close to the AN-21U even though it has DSP.
The radio tuner sounds mono when it indicates stereo, switching to mono sounds exactly the same. Auto scan comes out with zero stations. I will try to get a FM signal amplifier to see if it helps.
The RCA cable did not have an input for external mic. I asked the seller and he said there has been a upgrade with the sensitivity of the internal mic and this version don't support external mic. The internal mic has work satisfactory so far for voice commands and calls.
I used TuneIn radio to replace the lousy FM tuner but it was only marginally better. I replaced it with Poweramp internet radio streams and I have a winner. Unfortunately, Poweramp doesn't support Google music.
For that, you will need USB audio player pro. It sounds better than Youtube music and also support Tidal, Qobuz, Shoutcast, DLNA server and internet radio streams.
My Setup
4x focal speakers front and back. RCA out to DLS Ultimate A3 in the front and an active BLAUPUNKT active subwoofer through the subwoofer output in the rear.

Rooting
Tried out the rooting method post at https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=82485735&postcount=228 and it will indeed cause problem with voice navigation for Google Maps, Waze and Google Assistant. Sygic was ok, perhaps it doesn't required Google TTS. Someone complains problem with PlayStore too but I didn't test it and un-rooted by restoring the original boot image.

Hi!
I have the same model. And I ask some things on other thread.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=83085985
Do you have any recommendations? firmware update files?
Maybe we can use his thread to apps recommendations, solve typical problems and more.
We have different Bluetooth version.
And do you have the update to enhance the mic?

Just one more question.
Did you try different launcher like AGAMA or others?
And, dou you know how to change "Google voice search" to "Google Assistant"?
Thank you!!

I had asked twice before the seller was willing to send an link to the "latest" firmware (I'll post it & other resource collected in the OP) but I haven't tried it cause it looks older than what the unit came with.
@eXPerience1983, what problem is the mcu file from the seller suppose to solve?
I'm still using the default launcher so last used app will start since I'm using turn off to sleep power scheme. I'm looking to try Car Launcher FREE https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.autolauncher.motorcar.free&hl=en-GB, has ability to enable/disable voice command button and choose between Google now, Google assistant and Alisa yandex. There also ability to start chosen audio player when the launcher starts.
Have you tried tasker?
If I remember correctly, Google Assistant was installed/updated during initial boot-up Google apps updates, mine don't have Google Now preinstalled. It works fine with app start, app search and etc, only voice calling needs to click call after it finds the contact and number.
I'm not sure if it's really a updated unit which don't support external mic or improved mic that the seller
explained or just excuse for RCA cable without mic input but it works fine for voice command and calls (I have ordered a similar RCA cable with mic input from China to test later). If the mic is indeed improved, it's probably be a hardware change.
I was about to embark onto USB audio and DSD to an external DAC because of the poor FM reception and sound quality, my research runs into apps like USB audio player pro, Neutron music player, Onkyo hf player and Poweramp.
Poweramp makes the sound much fuller and the internet radio stream has solved my bad reception problem, much faster streaming and better sound than tunein radio app. I bought the pro version and fully enjoys it (I have no affiliation with the app).

I don't know what it's supposed to solve. I'll attach the file here. But have no info or instructions (they only say "insert on the radio and restart it") and I'm not responsible of any possible break.
And about Poweramp, I bought the pro version a few years ago but I don't use it for a long time. I never used it to FM streams, and I suppose that you need to find and manually add the address to the stream list. I have TuneIn Radio Pro but I usually use Spotify.
I see some mods for FM, but not sure which one is valid for us. And here, in Spain we haven't Digital radio so I can't use DAC.
I think I'll try another launcher, maybe AGAMA because it's free for 30 days. And looks very well, it seems to be possible to autostart some apps with it.
About Tasker, I don't buy it yet. And some apps don't autostart services (like Blockada). So I don't know what can I do with it and if it will work to start apps or change Voice search to Google Assistant.
If anyone finds how to change the wheel buttons to start Google Assistant, please share it.
About Navigation. It doesn't have magnetic or acceleration sensors to help GPS, but GPS works OK (but Radardroid can't use the option to autostart at drive because we don't have the acceleration sensor). Only receive GPS and GLONASS, not received any BEIDU or GALILEO signals.
I use Android Auto to easily use Google Maps and Spotify into the same interface. But I need to start Spotify before or Android auto can't start it. To offline GPS I use Here WeGO because I have sound problems with iGO Navigation, but didn't tested too much.
How do you share files between your mobile and radio? I'm going to try the app "Send files to TV" because the Bluetooth doesn't find my phone to send it.
I know I have to enable "OBD2" to use Torque app, I have both but can't try it yet.
Ah, highly recommended!!!
Turn on the "LOUD" setting under General Settings -> Sound. Music sounds much better, don't you think?
I'll share more details about the radio when I use it more. I only have it one week.
Seller send me this for my Junsun V1 PRO 4GB/64GB WIFI + 4G but I didn't use it

Bluetooth/Zlink
Hi all,
I’m abit of android noob.
My unit have the same specs as list above. Does anyone experience Bluetooth phone calls quite unclear? If so, what did you do to rectify it?
Bluetooth version: BLINK_2161_RELEASE0/2020:06:2:17:41:29_blink
Is there another Bluetooth app you can use?
Also the unit came with ZLINK for Apple CarPlay, I find it sometime dropping out and not connecting. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thank you!

I believe a buyer feels mislead about the Android version (8.1 advertised as 9) and the DSP difference between 2/32GB and 4/64GB units (software DSP versus hardware DSP) and different amplifier chips TDA7851 versus Toshiba TCB001HQ.
I solved the problem of apps that doesn't autostart.
Example:
Blockada
Radardroid
Spotify
I used this manual:
https://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=936715&view=findpost&p=89407921
With this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.james.SmartUninstaller
Spotify, blockada and Radardroid works fine now with a restart, but no on wake-up.
Maybe because I didn't activate them at secondary autostart. But need to test it.

I'll add more info and some recommendations for Junsun V1 PRO.
For better sound:
Goto "Settings->System->Sound-> Enable LOUD"
APPS:
Smart App Manager - To allow apps to autostart services or the app itself:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.james.SmartUninstaller
Instructions from here: https://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=936715&view=findpost&p=89407921
-Go to "System Info" in the menu.
-Press the "Battery Usage" button.
-"Startup Management".
-"Applications, autorun". This enables autostart at full reboot.
-"Applications, secondary launch", not tested yet bus its supposed to enable autostart at wakeup.
UPDATE:
-"Application standby optimizer", enter on selected apps an disable the optimization.
UPDATE 2: OK, most of time apps don't restart after disconnect the car for long time. But background services do, so you can activate them easier.
Example:
-Radardroid can be activated via widget.
-Blockada can be activated via widget.
-Spotify can be activated/accessed via Android Auto.
UPDATE 3
After wake up it still closing apps. So I disconnect the "Application standby optimizer".
I only keep activated some apps on "Applications, autorun" and "Applications, secondary launch". They start at full reboot and seems to keep services running after wake up.
Blockada - If you want to efficiently block ads, trackers, malware, save on your data plan, speed up your device and protect your privacy with just one application, then Blokada is for you. It is free, secure and open source.

No, it's valid for a quick reboot. But, if the car is turned off for a few hours, apps don't start again.
Need to investigate more.
Att 4pda says something about "Application standby optimizer".
I'm going to try and test it.
Edit: for now it seems to work OK.
@gpmg762 the seller send me the same firmware than yours and another file with a video and almost empty file. Plus the .bin that I posted a few days ago.

I doubt selller wants to support firmware update and gives the same link to everyone who asked. I havn't tried the given firmware since i don't want to end-up with something older.
